Hosea Thompson lives life unapologetically. The fun-loving, carefree bachelor isn’t too quick to attach himself to responsibilities or relationships after the woman he loved left without saying goodbye. Focused only on his family, friends, and funds, Hosea finds it difficult to remain detached when tragedy plants an unexpected houseguest at his front door.
When Cartier Williams witnesses a crime and has to return to her hometown, there’s only one person she wants to stay with—Hosea. Years have passed since they first met, and Cartier isn’t the fragile, awkward teenaged girl she used to be. Instead, she’s a woman in need of safety, security, and a man worthy of her submission.
What starts out as kindred spirits experiencing each other as adults quickly morphs into a more intimate exchange. One that has Hosea wanting to retrieve his heart from his ex. There’s only one problem between the consenting adults, and that’s the expiration date on Cartier’s trip. As soon as it’s safe to return home, Cartier plans to leave… even if that means taking Hosea’s already broken heart with her.

Note to self, don’t let anyone talk you into a book or series you’ve already decided ain’t for you. This book was a complete and utter waste of my time. I spent the majority of yesterday forcing myself to read this book and, by the time I said, “eff this shyt” I was already halfway through it. So, it made no sense to DNF it at that point. This is a prime example of why books are subjective and not everyone is going to like the same damn book. B. Love tends to be hit or miss with me but, there are definitely more hits than misses. I’ve just come to the realization that this series is not for me so, I won’t be reading the rest of the books. And, to the person that had me waste a perfectly good Saturday where I could finally read uninterrupted……. Watch yo back. 😒😒😒
Mister Concierge! Whew chileeeee! I absolutely loved Zay and how protective he was of Cartier after a life changing incident. A few parts had me swooning over him and clutching my imaginary pearls. You could feel the connection the two had through the pages. He was such a good MAN. One I need in my real life. I’ma need these authors to stop making these fictional men so bomb. Lol
Mariah and Raven. Let’s just say they weren’t my favorite.
Can’t wait for the next B. Love book. I’m here for them all.
Although I enjoyed this selection, I was not captured and held hostage with this one. It was good, and I have no major complaints. But....Book four lagged a lot for me. Cartier and Hosea did not jiggle my juices, or jerk my heart strings during their sensual encounters. The BDSM was like an after thought to me and registered light on my sexy scale. The mystery was easy to scope out as the breadcrumbs to the plot were colossal, so it was easy to figure out whodunit... Overall, the story was pretty good. 3.5 stars. I still recommend that you try this one and see what you think.
Mister Concierge owes me nothing! I totally devoured every bit of this book. A tragic event happens, leaving Cartier fleeing to her hometown for safety. She has her choice of family and / or friends to stay with and she chooses Hosea. Right away I could tell Hosea was that dude because he did not hesitate to allow his friends sister, Cartier, to stay with him. He pledged that he would not allow anything to happen to her and he did just that!
Hosea is such a protective person and a natural leader. He was just what Cartier needed in her life, because that ex of hers was not it!! These two were clearly meant to be and I believe everyone else saw it coming. I want to say this is friends to lovers but I don’t know if I can call it that since they weren’t necessarily friends but they were cordial and had mutual friends. It was clear that there was always an attraction between the two but never any action- but that all changes. The close proximity to each other forced all those feelings to the forefront. It was intense- the sexual frustration- they needed each other in the worst way. The buildup was worth it because when the clothes finally came off it was on! The chemistry between Hosea and Cartier was so evident and they did not hold back!
I loved that this book gave a little bit of everything: drama, plot twists, intimacy, peaks of BDSM, dating with purpose, and all the love my heart could handle. Hosea is in a class of his own- he spoke with intention and the way that he spoke life into Cartier had me highlighting the passages so much. The subtle thought provoking words were much appreciated! I loved this book!! 💙
I love everything about this book. It was beautifully written. The Friendship that these men have is amazing. How they have each other's back through it all is amazing. I truly love the bond that Hosea and Cartier have. The foundation that they both laid at the beginning of their relationship is a wonderful thing. I truly love this couple.
I was excited about this one, as I was intrigued as well as heartbroken for Hosea, from the prelude. However, it just didn't do it for me. I loved Hosea! He was a real man! He did what he says he will, a protector, loves hard and was not afraid to show his vulnerable side. He and Cartier were cute friends to lovers, as they just worked. The Sabrina/Mariah revelation was underwhelming, and Raven was just whack! I will definitely continue with the series, as I am a fan, just didn't care for this one.
Mann…this Mister series is giving me life. B. Love did an awesome job with Hosea and Cartier’s story. It was well written, flowed well and definitely kept my attention. Raven and Mariah were true snakes and I’m glad that they were dealt with before they could cause more problems. Hosea was definitely a protector and he made sure that Cartier was safe a all times. I can’t wait to read Saint’s story.
I enjoyed Hosea and Cartier's story. I listened to the audiobook, and Cartier sounded like a young girl. That didn't really help me see her as the grown woman she was. I think I would have been able to appreciate the relationship between Cartier and Hosea better if I had read this book instead. Now that Mariah ordeal, I think Stevie Wonder could see the holes in that story. I am so glad Hosea's parents got him straight on that.
I loved the love and like the other reviewers the communication was A1. I loved how they catered to each other it was a beautiful start with a little drama.
Who knew communication in a relationship could be so darn sexy and arousing??? I love the way B. Love wrote Hosea and Cartier’s story. It’s not just the same old friends to lovers plot. These two will have you looking at how we communicate in relationships in a whole new light. The story has plenty of drama and mystery to go along with the hot sexy scenes. At one point you will want to jump in the book and slap somebody! I won’t say who because I don’t want to throw out spoilers. This is a must read. Enjoy!
Hmmmm, a physical assault, fatal gunshot, life support, home invasion, manslaughter/murder, disgruntled parent/law suit and the primary focus was BDSM🥴🤨⁉️ ”Mister Concierge (The Mister Series - Book 4) wasn’t appealing to me. Cartier was attracted to Hosea as a man, not his dominant sexual proclivities. The dom/submissive lifestyle was much more than Cartier bargained for. Consequently, this book’s plot and its’ content was misleading, convoluted and a waste of two and a half hours!
Listen Hosea and Tink. I want to throw my shoe at this author because the fiiiiirrreee was brought baby! This series has been nothing short of amazing!
OMG! This book was so good. I loved Cartier & Hosea together. I loved that yet had a friendship prior to being in a relationsh. I'm glad everybody got what they deserved.
I really liked this story. I'm kind of on the fence about BDSM but this wasn't too crazy. The twist with Raven was a shock. Can't wait to read about Saint.
Hosea and Cartier story is beautiful and a great read for anyone who’ve had a bad experience with love! Second changes often are better than the first!!! Love it
Tell God what you want and he will smile and inform you of what you need. God winks at us all it’s the matter of listening and seeing what he has for us.
I had an amazing opportunity to read an advanced copy of Mister Concierge by Author B. Love. Let me just say that B. Love never disappoints me when I read one of her books. Mister Concierge is the 4th book in her popular Mister Series. I highly recommend that you read the first 3 books so that you will be familiar with the characters. The books are Mister Librarian, Mister: The Mister Series Prelude, and Mister Jeweler.
In Mister Concierge, we get the love story of Cartier Williams and Hosea Thompson. Cartier works as an academic advisor and helps her brother and sister in law at the bar and grill. Hosea is the owner of The Thompson Towers. When you read the book, you will find out what type of business it is. Cartier is home alone in Los Angeles and she witnesses an event that has the potential to put her life in danger. She immediately tells her brother that she wants to return to Memphis and that she feels safe with Hosea. Hosea has no qualms about Cartier staying with him and keeping her safe. Cartier and Hosea have both experienced heartbreak. Will they both find a love so beautiful that it will heal them? You will have to read Mister Concierge by Author B. Love to find out!
What I absolutely loved about this book was Hosea! He was definitely the man that you would want in your corner. He was loving, caring, and protective of the ones he loves. I love how he encourages and breathes words of affirmations to Cartier. His actions showed so much about the type of man he is. I loved Cartier as well because of how strong and caring she was. She was exactly what Hosea needed. Her joy and happiness at trying things she had never done brfore had my heart smiling. The book flows so well and I felt like I was there. Of course, I was all in my emotions and feelings because B. Love words just have me in a chokehold. B. Love tackled some emotional issues that didn’t take away from the beautiful story at all. It was good getting an update on the previous characters from the other books.
Overall, I loved reading Mr. Concierge by Author B. Love. I was in a book hangover and B. Love I need a man like Hosea. This was an amazing read. One of my top reads so far of 2022. B. Love writes books that will have you in your emotions. I’m okay with that. I love reading emotional books.
