Rate this book
Trapped in Nowhere by a mysterious force field, Nissa prepares to face a powerful ancient demon.

Nissa faces her biggest threat yet, as an ancient demon is about to be unleashed from the hell dimension. As the last wizard, she is the only one with the power to stop it. Though she would love to run away, that’s impossible now that the residents are all trapped, in preparation for the demon to snack on them when he rises.

Teaming up with Jax, Nissa is in denial over her growing feelings for him. She might not even survive long enough to act on them. With no one else willing to help her, they will need to work together to stop the enemy, but is Nissa strong enough?

When the clock runs out, right as Nissa turns twenty-seven, she receives a massive power boost, but will it be enough to defeat the demon? Or will Nowhere fall?

Even tho Nissa had killed Jeremiah, the Old One is rising soon and bringing the end of the world with him. The Council keep on with their platitudes and there is a barrier around the town of Nowhere. No one can get in or out, even if they wanted to. Nissa is sleeping over at her Aunt M’s because she doesn’t want to be alone and everyone knows where Nissa lives. Jeremiah had given her a doozy to contemplate about her parents before she offed him. Council member Erica is dead too, but no one is talking about it. Food and other supplies won’t last forever, and there won’t be a way for the vampires to get more blood bags, so….. problems! How long before Supernaturals start chowing down on each other? Yuck. We be in trouble people! I was totally right. Total mayhem and chaos ensues. Rioting, theft, etc.

I’m impressed with Jax. He stuck around and is so helpful. He has protected Nissa almost from the beginning. Him being a hot demon, well… lol. Aunt M is so freaking Awesome! Nissa is terrified of doing what she always does, or so she thinks, making things worse. Plus, her birthday. Just wow. I love when M uses her knives!

Brain fried. There was a lot going on in that book. I loved it.

This was both brilliant and sad. An absolutely brilliant end to an amazing series but truly sad as it will be the last I'll read about these characters.

Nissa, my favourite disaster. She seems to stagger from one problem to another but always ends up on top. She's wonderfully clueless but utterly likeable because of her faults.

Jax, the hot demon, gets more interesting as his character develops. He is kind, clever and even tempered to Nissa's roller-coaster temperament.

M is the consistent rock and Nissa's safe place with a surprisingly dark past.

If on you only read one series this year, make it this one.

This is a great wrap-up to Nissa's story! A demon called an Old One is about to be unleashed on the town of Nowhere. At the same time, nobody can leave since there is a barrier around the town. And, it seems that Nissa is the only one who can stop the destruction that is sure to come.

This book is full of magic, action and just enough steam to satisfy lovers of Paranormal Romance. The author has created a great group of characters, added in enough twists and turns to keep the reader's interest and build a fascinating world in a town of supernaturals. And, as Nissa says, "I never thought I'd be glad to be in Nowhere."

We have action and suspense. The Demon is coming and its said that Nissa can stop it, but can she? Jax is still standing beside her, even though she treats him like a piece meat most of the time. Someone is still out there and doing Jeremiah"s cramp. Will the people of Nowhere listen to her and help? Will she be able to protect the town? That all being said, there is a small cliffhanger at the end for the story to continue later if the author decides to.

I can't believe that we have come to the end of this series. This book was well written and entertaining from start to finish just like all the previous ones. I look forward to my next adventure with this author.

Great End to the series

Action packed, and the heroine acting more like an adult than a whiney drunk. Lots of questions answered about why she ended up how she is. Great story, great end. Loved the series.
