Susan lives out on the Canadian west coast surrounded by open water, dear family and good friends. She’s jumped out of perfectly good airplanes on purpose and accidentally swum with sharks on the Great Barrier Reef. If the world ends, she plans to survive as the spunky, comedic sidekick to the heroes of the new world, because she’s too damned short and out of shape to make it on her own for long.
Writing is her joy, her escape from reality and the only way she knows of to quiet the nagging harridan of a muse the universe assigned to her.

Adventure, drama, mystery, steamy romance. They are all included in this collaborative collection. All had interesting subjects and tropes. Only one had obviously not been proofread. Highly recommend.
These Sci-Fi Romance authors are offering up sizzling stories with a “studs from the stars” theme! You will recognize many of the names contributing to this collection, so you probably know you are in for a treat here! Below is a review of one of the stories to give you an idea of what is included.
Titles in this collection are:
🚀 MATING URGE by Michelle Howard 🚀 KIRALL’S KISS by M.K. Eidem 🚀 TORN by Tana Stone 🚀 SOULLESS by Kate Rudolph 🚀 MARKED FOR RAGE by Susan Hayes 🚀 RAMLIEL by A.M. Griffin 🚀 BOND By Tasha Black 🚀 ASH PLANET WARRIORS by V.K. Ludwig 🚀 JORAN by Susan Hayes
*** Reviewing “JORAN” by Susan Hayes *** Maggie, Gwen, and Lisa were enjoying their girls’ night with wine and their favorite pints of ice cream. Maggie was having boyfriend troubles and her friends were supporting her after a tacky breakup-by-text-message of the night before. They all agreed they needed to find better quality men. Someone special had to be out there somewhere, right? So they agreed to sign up to the new Star-Crossed Dating Service for a free trial promising an “out of this world” experience.
Joran Pyr, Crown Prince of Pyros, has a duty to find a mate and produce an heir. With so few women left on their planet, his parents had to look elsewhere for his special woman – and he wasn’t very pleased with what they were doing! However, he was matched with a woman from Earth, Maggie O’Hara. Impatient to see her, he ditched his guards and walked into the coffee shop at closing time. Maggie recognized his picture and, as they introduced themselves and shook hands, a blue spark crackled. To Joran’s great surprise, the mating bond had activated and the Scorching process had begun!
This book was absolutely brilliant, beautifully written, and I loved it from the start! I sighed and moaned at least several times per chapter! Wait until you meet Joran and you will positively agree with me that he is magnificent! The characters were all amazing, so well presented by the author that I knew each of them personally and as friends. The story line was great, the action moving along quickly and keeping the reader enthralled! Don’t miss this wonderful book. I can’t say enough good about it – or maybe I already have! But that’s because it was an amazing story that I was delighted to be part of. Read it and I am sure you will agree. And then dive into the rest of the stories included in this collection. The thrill doesn’t stop!
Elliana Cage stows on a spaceship leaving soon to escape her evil step-father and avoid the false criminal charges against her. Aran T'Kar didn't expect to discover a beautiful woman hiding out on the Zanian IX. Protocol dictates immediate detainment, but Aran can't resist the urge to take one forbidden taste.
This was a pleasant story although it was a bit high-level and would have been better with more details about the races, the politics, mating and the disc contents. Easy to read and understand.
Torn by Tana Stone - 3*
The Drexian Warrior took the wrong woman from Earth to be a tribute bride. As he got to know her he realised that he actually wanted her even though he couldn't have her as she was allocated to another.
I enjoyed this story with was a high-level introduction to the Drexian Tribute Bride series. I did find the agreeable nature of Jax to be a little strange and most unlikely (and certainly not as quick as he was). Contains some mature content.
Bond by Tasha Black - 4*
Posey Quinn believes that there is more to the world than what she can see so when she goes to Stargazer to donate eggs, she is not completely surprised to learn she has been asked to make an alien fall in love with her and become an ambassador for humankind. What she never expected was how much of a hunk Bond is and how irresistible he is. Bond is on Earth to give a human female as much pleasure as she can handle while learning as much about the planet and its inhabitants as he can. He knows that if the patient has enough resources and the residents are not worthy, that he time with Posey is limited.
This was an enjoyable story that has the slow build-up to a relationship between Bond and Posey which was quite nice to experience with them (even if there was the dark background mission so that they could test the human inhabitants to see basically if they were worthy of living any longer. A sweet story that will be interesting to find out what happens next.
2 /5 I wish there was more romance and spice. Also the couple separated in the story and that really irritated me. Would have liked more time with them together.
Kirall's Kiss
By M.K. Eidem
2 /5 The dialogue and drama in this was so ott I got annoyed. I am not a fan of omniscient pov.
Torn
By Tana Stone
3 /5 This was such a fun concept. Tiana Stone is often a hit or miss from me but they always deliver some decent writing. This was a prologue to a series of theirs and I'm putting it on my tbr.
Soulless
By Kate Rudolph
4 /5 I actually really liked the story and the romance was built up nicely. My only negative was the smut scenes were more fantasy like then actual, "pound town" if you catch my drift. I like my smut filthy and not tastefully written. Lol
Marked for Rage
By Susan Hayes
3 /5 I love alien prison books. This one jumped around a bit and between the time jumps was so vague. The smut was classy when I wanted it to be filthy.
Ramliel
By A.M. Griffin
1 /5 what the actual fuck was this bullshit? Other women drama, like the ENTIRE story. Other women pregnancy scare. Cheating and cheating adjacent. Like the malemc was seriosuly fucked in the head with this one. What chemistry?
Bond
By Tasha Black
1 /5 Boring and did not hold my interest.
Ash Planet Warriors
By V.K. Ludwig
4 /5 wow this was great. No hea though. This couple gets their hea in book 3 of the series. Written well and the smut was good. But I wish their story ended here in an HEA second chance romances are not my thing.
Joran
By Susan Hayes
2 /5 Simply written with not alot of detail. Would love more alien out of this story. It read like he was just a normal hot guy with powers. Smut was below average.
Though these stories aren’t new there are some from authors I’m not familiar with. And some from authors I love!
Jordan - This book starts off with a common premiss. These characters make this story worthwhile. The writing style keeps you captivated. Yes, Joran is impetuous and Maggie is self reliant because she has been dealt a rough hand in life, but the fated mate mythology is strong and compelling. And even though this is a short story there is a thirst for more and more is coming.
Bond - This whole plot line is so intriguing. I won't give it away but it goes deeper than the blurb. The women, Posey, Rima, and Georgia, are so normal. Cynical, insecure, faking it till you make it. The guys are so like children, sort of. Learning about earth and humans, yet with heir own problems and objectives. The story sucks you in and takes you for a fun ride you don't want to leave.
Aran - Ellie running for her life and meeting her fated mate in Aran was a heartwarming sexy short. The alien shifter mythology is a favorite of mine and this well written story was a joyful read.
Marked for Rage by Susan Hayes This is a solid five plus star read! This series is one of Hayes best! The Fa’rel have long been abused and tortured by their creators. Dumped on a harsh planet these survivors have flourished…fate intervenes as women are deposited on the planet in escape pods, surviving their own space disaster. We are treated to Menace’s story and what a beautiful love story it is. Menace is a hard and bitter warrior until he meets Hope. True to her name, she gives hope and love to Menace. I thought the most moving dialogue in this book is when Menace calls Hope “his painted beauty”. She was a survivor of a disease that left her skin spotted but Menace sees nothing but beauty in her markings. What an acceptance of diversity that he see beauty where others have not! I love that Hayes always reminds us to accept others that are perhaps different. Excellent read! I’d love to see Rage make an appearance in a future book. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wow. Authors starting an anthology at the amazing price of 0 (zero) One of my favorite authors (Tasha Black) first book that started her journey into space offers Bond. Only when college girls arrive in Stargazer, to earn money for college, hometown to one, do they learn that the plan of donating eggs isn't all they have to do to earn the money. They are to be brides to the Aliens and represent Earth. Not going to happen as far as Posey is concerned. She takes care of herself and works hard to pay for school, she'd never miss a few eggs in exchange for making a financial dent in her bill, but an alien husband? No, not so fine. Well, Bond is fine, but that doesn't mean she wants to have his kids and be his wife.
There are several other stories with authors who may be new to you or some of your favorites. Enjoy.
Sadly, most of these stories were marred by a lack of polished weirdly wrong word choices, too much punctuation, too little, and some seriously off-trak storylines.
One of the better ones was the last. The concept of noncorporeal aliens learning to live in human bodies was a nice, unique idea and well-done. However, just as it was all coming together, it ended mid story and left me hanging.
Yeah, I get these are all parts of series, but after suffering some of the lesser entries, I was hoping for a big finale to make it all worthwhile.
I started reading this anthology because I love Tasha Black and her books (Bond is the first book of her series Stargazer Alien Mail Order Brides). Bond is a book filled with humor and challenges, sexy romance and playful encounters. So much fun and leaves you wanting more stories.
This anthology is an introduction to new to me great authors and their series. All but one are complete novels or novellas (that last one will be finished in a later book in the series). Each story has it's own spin and I will be following many of them in the future. The beauty of this anthology to to find so many great authors in one place.
This anthology had a good mixture of authors that I had read and a couple I had never heard of, but enjoyed. Out of 9 stories I had already read the 2 by Susan Hayes and the one by Tasha Black. Out of the other 6, I truly enjoyed Soulless by Kate Rudolph, which I had read other books within this series before and Ramliel by AM Griffin and Ash Planet Warriors by VK Ludwig (both new to me), the other 3 stories were forgetable and the last I couldn't complete.
This anothology was on sale, so I can honestly say it was worth my time and $$. Now I am off to the first book in the Ash Planet Warriors, so I can get to the third book to see how Lia and Zerim's story plays out.
This is a fab collection of stories that really let you sink your teeth into these different authors' work. Some of them I'd already read, like Joran by Susan Hayes, but others were new to me, Ramliel by A.M. Griffin, and I loved the reading ride they provided. There's so much to enjoy in this set and I highly recommend it :D
I love anthologies. They introduce me to new authors and series that I had forgotten about. There was only one story in this group that was disappointing for me, But it may not be for you. I just don't like serial cliffhangers, and that seems to be the modus operandi of the Stargazer Alien Mail Order Bride series by Tasha Black.
I enjoyed reading this collection of stories, they were entertaining and filled with action and adventure. I can't wait to read more from these authors. I received this book as a Free copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
This was an absolutely amazing read. The only way it could have gotten better was if the authors got together and wrote a different story line. Each story screamed for more at the end. Very well written. Great characters and great stories.
Love Anthologies, so many new Authors (to me) to start Following
Most of these stories are really Very Good, great short reads that give a real push to read their other stories.v Though one was an a condensed version of a previously read story, I think.
This was my first sci-fi romance read. I am hooked! The characters were all likable & believable. The plot of each book was exciting and moved along quickly. Now I have to go buy the next books to go with these. Recommend for any romance reader.
Wow an amazing set of books by various outstanding authors. Each book is rude with intrigue, mayhem, distrust and so much more. The storyline and characters will rock you.
I will definitely be reading a few more series now! This was a great anthology. Even if one of the stories didn't have a HEA. I love finding new authors to love or new series and I certainly found that here.
Each and every story is worth more than five stars for the wonderful characters, the plots and the romance. Most were worth following up with further episodes as well. Star Struck is a great collection to reread as well.
A brilliant set of romantic adventures where all the characters find love in unexpected places. A couple of new authors for me and sets to add to my TBR. Overall a set of well balanced journeys to love that leave you wanting to continue the adventure!!
Great book just be prepared to be buying/kindle unlimited more books from each series from each author. I did it as I finished each story from each author so I wouldn’t get lost or confused.
Short stories to help bring you the reader into the series of books. All very different and interesting. Being able to read a short introduction to a book is great. Highly recommend this book and authors
This was a fun collection of reluctant brides and their alien love matches. My favorites were " Mating Urge" by Michelle Howard, " Marked by Rage" by Susan Hayes and "Soulless" by Kate Rudolph.
