This series is becoming addictive. There’s romance, lots of action and angst. Mason, Tino, Marcus and Pagan go through a lot together and Mason is there to blame. The twists and turns are so fun to read. I had a great time withNo Limits. The final scene had me in tears. I gotta see what’s next for all.

Once again, this author has left me breathless and addicted to this series which isn't over yet. (Thank God) This book is the fifth installment of the Closer Than Blood series, and I loved it. The intimate scenes are a work of genius, like a stunning piece of art you find yourself immersed in—the characters and realistic with flaws and issues that take time to work out. Richard Mason is the pushy, bossy, closed off, and overly powerful man I'd expected and fallen in love with from book one, while Pagan is her usual 'take no crap' woman I've always respected. Then there is Tino, and he's genuinely adorable with the way he loves Richard and his brooding ways. But, if you put Richard, Tino, and Marcus (Pagan's hubs) in the same hotel room, you have yourself a literal panty-melting scene that will leave you needing a cold shower by the end.
Richard wants it all, and I love him so damn much; I can't wait to see what happens in the next book. I refuse to give spoilers but, I can say Lady J has nailed it once again and left me both heated and in love with this series. A must-read for anyone who enjoys a powerful rich man, a little violence, a lot of sex, some filthy secrets, and one hell of a hot M/M/M scene or twenty.

Well, this was another action-packed spicy instalment for these wonderful characters. I was concerned for a minute there that Richard had messed up his relationship with Tino, which upset me because I love these two together. This book gives you more of Pagan and Marcus too, which was an interesting dynamic; I must say I enjoyed it, but I'm wondering if there will be more in book three or if that was a one-time-only deal. Guess I had better download the next one to find out.

No Limits is the fifth book of the Closer Than Blood series by Jayne Lockwood aka Lady Jaguar. Just like the earlier books, it is high octane, action-filled romantic suspense with witty, raw characters and smoking hot sexual encounters.
Richard's past keeps catching up to him, no matter how much he works on keeping his new marriage afloat. Acquaintances from his days as Frank Mancini show up at the funeral of his old mob boss, and everything goes downhill from there. But boy, is it a thrilling ride!
The story is full of twists, heartache and angst, and it is absolutely magnificent! And I can't even begin to tell how much I love the characters in this series! They are wonderfully fleshed-out, layered and most definitely flawed. And they work splendidly together, creating a palpable atmosphere in each scene, no matter if it's fun and sweet, or dark and dangerous.
There is so much to love about this series, and this book no different. It is exciting from cover to cover and it's impossible to put down. If you're in for a fun ride and some smoking hot M/M erotic romance, then look no further! This one will NOT disappoint!

I enjoyed this more than I did the first book in the series... which is, I think, a good quality when you're writing a story that spans over more than one book. The longer I go, the more invested I get in these characters. I also liked getting to see Pagan and Marcus more in this. Honestly, I'm kind of just chomping at the bit to get to the next book. There's enough emotion, angst, steam, and intrigue to really keep me pushing forward.

I’m speechless, and basking in little pieces of heaven. I don’t know if that’s the right thing to say since I was meddling with a gorgeous troubled devil, Richard Mason. But isn’t he a sexy, devilish man with a heart of gold? 😈❤️🔥 No Limits is the third book in the Switchblade series. Each book can be read as standalone, but you won’t have the out of this world experience if you don’t read the entire series. It’s deliciously addictive.
After Richard and Tino get married, and the honeymoon phase is over, problems knock at their door. Richard is not good with communication and showing his own feelings. The only thought in his mind is to protect his husband and the people dear to him, but Tino discovers he also lacks in the communication area, not telling Richard how he feels about their marriage. In the middle of their struggles, Richard wants to have a relationship with his son, and at the same time, he gets blackmailed by a gangster ‘wannabe’ Mafia Don.
They travel to London to spend some time with his forever love, Pagan (from Closer than Blood, and the mother of his child. Do not worry, he loves Tino with the same intensity) and her husband, Dr. Marcus, and his world turns upside down. Pagan is a witty and fierce woman who loves her family. Marcus is the shy, responsible, and gorgeous heart surgeon who comes to the mix to stir things up and make hearts beat faster.
The story brings you lots of twists and turns. Secrets come out, lots of angst, broken hearts, and Frank Mancini is resurrected (you’ll have to read and find out who’s this naughty hunk). Some embark on a self-discovery journey, others can’t get rid of the ghosts from the past, smoking hot sexiness and spicy scenes to leave you gasping. There are lots of action, fast-paced, and some gruesome scenes, nothing too graphic, but essential for the story, and I was in awe with them. Perfect! (Mostly the last one. Yeah, perfect.) 🔥🔥🔥

A marriage is supposed to be a happy beginning for a newlywed couple, the grand final of a wholesome relationship, right? Or at least that's the way in the sugarysweet, insta love, insta everything romances. But Richard and Tino's relationship is anything but pink, shiny, instalovish, standard romance. The only insta thing was the lust and the chemistry that they couldn’t get out of their systems. It was glaringly obvious that their marriage doesn't have a healthy foundation. And the continuation of the story shows how they are learning the art of hurting each other even more deeply. It was sickly fascinating to watch their conversations, verbal fights and actions which opened more and more wounds and rifts in their fragile relationship. And to this already so complicated dynamic, the story adds even more - Pagan, Marcus and Richard's son. Book 2 is actually the beginning of the first tentative polyamory tendrils that will connect Richard, Tino, Marcus and Pagan in one unusual, unique, multilayered polycule. But before that could happen, there were a ton of challenges to be faced, bitter life lessons to be learned, shredded to pieces hearts to be mend and healed, new emotional bridges to be built and tested. The vicious gaping mow of Richard's past was additional threat to the tender new bonds barely started to form between the 4 main characters. Richard self destruction mode really reached a new high here. While his love for Pagan never died down, he had to find the so needed balance with Marcus - the man in her new life. And while they both clashed and struggled to establish who is the more dominant, Marcus gave him a precious lesson, a lesson badly needed to trigger a positive change in Richard's personality. Even though he is a submissive in the bedroom, Marcus showed him that he is no pushover in real life. In this volatile, unpredictable turmoil their life has turned into, Tino is facing his own challenges and broadening his personal horizons while battling for the survival of his marriage and falling in love with a second man - Marcus. A man who is an absolute opposite of Richard which is a total shock to his system. And what is even more shocking is that his reservations and fear of Richard's fiery love for Pagan, are rapidly dwindling leaving behind a brand new uncharted territory and he has to take a new leap of trust.
So many limits and boundaries were burnt, crossed and changed during the plot development, that at the end a brand new map of the story emerged.

Tino and Richard are now married, but the bloom has worn off and all is not well in Paradise. Tino wants romance, Richard just wants to protect those he loves, and communication is NOT a big part of this marriage, as outside problems begin to pile up. With Richard still pursuing a relationship with his son Gino, Tino is feeling left out and resentful. When the two travel to England to stay with Pagan, Marcus and Gino, Tino is able to release his jealousy and establish a relationship with Gino and his family. But other things are boiling under the surface which leads to a chain of events putting all in danger, leading to the resurgence of Frank Mancini, at least for a time. Many different sub plots with threads all coming together to keep readers along for the ride, ready for book 3, Ties That Bind. An exciting read with more facets added to the MCs, as well as new developments with the addition of Marcus and Pagan which are bound to have a real impact on Richard and Tino’s relationship in book 3. Anxious to see what else develops, hopefully for a happy, successful marriage for Richard and Tino to get to their HEA.

When vengeance and greed for money and power make a stand, betrayal and blackmail make their appearance and they succeed to cause a rupture in their frail standing.
Marcus and Pagan are taking an active role in their life and they have to find a common ground to preserve their happiness.
It was intense with a high dose of adrenaline and danger as well as twists and turns in revealing enemies and allies alike.
I enjoyed and I'm looking forward to see what happens next with our beloved characters.

This is the first book I've read by Lady Jaguar and I must say I was totally mesmerized in the story. The relationship between Tino and Richard shows the importance of communication in a relationship. From Tino because he didn't make a big enough effort to tell Richard how he was feeling and from Richard because he though he knew what Tino wanted yet he wasn't prepared to bare himself to the one person he professed to love more than life itself. The inability to not be able to be transparent nearly cost these two everything. But then who could see what a loving and meddling Nonna can do when she puts her mind to it.
Highly recommend.

Rounding up because writing and story telling in this book is very skillful, the author clearly has genuine talent. The plot is well paced and the characters vivid and complicated. I liked Richard and Tino, they are well matched and interesting due to their differences. They probably should not be together, but I liked their chemistry. There is a lot going on in the plot, and the characters are shockingly terrible at communicating. The writing style is engaging but I did not care for either Marcus and Pagan, too much focus on them for me.

I wasn't quite sure what to think going into this second book but Holy Hell, Yes Please and Sign me up come to mind after reading. This was packed with so many yummy things it was like Christmas! This was something, that's all I'm going to say. If your looking angst, heat, hurt, love and a damn good story to go with it, do yourself a favor and pick this one up. I am so freaking excited to see how this foursome ends! I would definitely recommend.

I love stories that follow the characters after their vows. Tino and Richard are in love but have issues that can't be put to rest with a fancy party or extravagant vacations. The long buried secrets from Richards's past are starting to resurface and I wasn't certain that their trust was strong enough to sustain them. Also Pagan, Richard's first love, is making her presence known, along with her husband and the son she shares with Richard and they are forced to decide how they are going to merge their families. There is a lot of fast paced action to contrast with the other issues.

I love the way there is no judgemental tone to the way LGBTQ issues are addressed in this series. I love that the main character, Richard, is a pansexual and open about it. I'm excited for the next book ☺

Interesting continuation of this tale
I liked the first book in this series better, but this one was ok except for a few spelling errors and plotting wobbles. It’s maybe that, to me, Lady Jaguar is trying too hard to fit too many different themes into one story. Some of it works quite well but nothing is terribly original although I get that is hard to do. Good enough for me to keep on reading the rest.

If Tino and Richard thought their marriage would be smooth sailing, they certain discover differently in this second book in the series. There are communication and expectation issues between the two of them which would be problem enough, but from outside they are dealing with blackmail, jealous exes and multiple plots against them. This author definitely knows how to put many balls in the air and juggle them with aplomb. Very much looking forward to book three.

Another great action packed romantic suspense with strong characters with a sizzling passion and steamy chemistry. The author does a terrific job pulling you in with all the anxiety and twists and kept me glued to the pages from start to finish. It's well written with descriptive scenes, moves fluidly and is a fantastic dark and thrilling story.

Well i didn't think the author could improve on first book but she does! Again a deep complex storyline and the relationship between Richard and Tino is full of heat, passion, kink and the way that Pagan (Richard's ex) and Marcus are brought into the relationship and the challenges along the way make this another book you can't put down. Can't wait to read book 3 for conclusion.

Damn, what a fucked up, hot ride this was. This is the continuation of the story between Richard and Tino, somewhat opening up their marriage to other people. The steam level was sky-high, but I kept screaming at them in my head to just start talking to each other. Do you know the feeling of being frustrated with your partner and them distracting you with sex? This was kind of what the author did in this book and I happily let myself be distracted. Can't wait to get right into the next book now.

This story had me all the way messed up I loved it but also couldn’t take it at the same time. The characters made me laugh but also made me want to fight and then cry. Book 3 is calling my name. I couldn't take it how Richard wanted to have his cake and eat it too and the lies were getting out of hand. I was getting more stressed than poor Tino.
