If you are a very happy mother and grandmother who doesn't have any pain or loss in your life you will probably love this book. If you are hurting in any way, I would avoid it. The author does not give any helpful advice or solace for anyone who is struggling or dealing with pain. She apparently has never heard of a single woman or someone who struggles in their walk with Christ. How this woman has a ministry, and a thriving book selling industry (which she continually bragged about), is beyond me. She is one of those happy people who is completely blind, deaf, and dumb about the horrific pain that many women, and people in general, deal with on a daily basis. Books like this are why so many people think Christianity is a joke. If I didn't have so much OCD about finishing books I would have given up on it, LONG ago.

Great devotional!

I liked this devotional very much. It helped grow spiritually closer to the Lord. Some of the devotions didn't pertain to me because I am no longer married. Overall, I would definitely recommend this.

Good devotional

I enjoy this authors devotional books. This one was good but not her best. Still, worthwhile to spend time on.
