When a Savage knows exactly what he wants, he’ll stop at nothing to get it…After separating from her husband, Mulan Mitchell tries to live an independent, stress-free life. But with his dominating presence on the streets of Philadelphia, that only proves to be harder for Mulan. Determined to be a free spirit, Mulan attends a party with her cousin, Draya, and best friend, Makiyah. But what starts off as an exciting event, quickly turns into a drama-filled night when a run-in occurs with the one man Mulan is trying to stay far away from. The one man that is known for his dangerous nature and being the wrong one to mess with. The one man that alongside his brothers, are all known to have a reputation of wreaking havoc on the streets of Philly. The Mitchell Brothers. An extremely attractive yet notorious trio.Rashard Mitchell is the complicated and the most stubborn one. Lost without his wife by his side, his stubborn trait only worsens. He was never going to allow Mulan to think that their separation was a permanent thing. Letting her go was never an option. Then there’s Malakai ‘Killa’ Mitchell, the youngest yet the most outrageous, who wants only his way or no way. He’s spoiled, rude, and very defensive. But could Killa have finally met the girl who could make him change his ways forever? Sounds impossible. Finally, there’s Kendrell Mitchell, the blunt and most assertive one. He says things as they are, and he doesn’t give a damn about anyone else’s feelings. He makes someone upset? They better be ready to apologize to him for being a childish fool. But when these three men, who are known to run the streets in which they roam, are caught up by three women they find they can’t live without, what will become of their empire? It’s not easy wearing the crown, but it’s definitely not easy juggling love and keeping your head up in the streets. Especially when there’s trouble constantly lurking in the shadows. Three women sought out by three savages who have a very hard time hearing no... What could possibly go wrong?*RE-RELEASE*
Miss Jenesequa’s romance novels are known for their powerful and convincing storylines filled with love, drama, and passion. If you’re eager to explore unique and captivating stories, she’s the indie author for you.
I thought this book would be like the Evans Brothers(the first set of books I read by this author), but I was mistaken. It started out fine, with Rashard having bouts of anger being the major red flag(also it seems that calling the woman a dumba** and threatening to f*** her up was considered to be normal in this book. Fyi, it's not) It seems that a LOT of unnecessary drama happened towards the end to force another book.
Unnecessary issues that were created: *Rashard CLEARLY expresses that he wouldn't want his child aborted, and Mulan CLEARLY expressed her fears about having another child. I respect both. However, Mulan finding out she's pregnant and NOT telling HER HUSBAND Rashard whilst planning a secret abortion is trifling *Draya having a whole girlfriend back home and not telling anyone makes her a cheater. Also trifling *Makiya's daddy being Rashard, Malakai and Kendrell's moms ex whom she stole from them for is already wild, but finding out Makiya's brother is the man that they(the Mitchell brothers) put a bounty on after he reneged in joining the Mitchell Cartel AND didn't pay them their money is evening wilder. Makiya finding this out at her brother's funeral(cuz yeah, he turned up dead while the Mitchell's was looking for him) and having her dad accuse her new love interest (Kendrell, whom literally pretended to be another dude texting Makiya for weeks btw) is just overkill. Let's also not forget that Mulan found out her mother had an incurable disease right before finding out she was pregnant and still hasn't told anyone else. Unnecessary drama gives me a headache. I don't think I'll be reading books 2 or 3 anytime soon.

Very interesting read. Starts off a little slow but picks up. I can say them Mitchell brothers may be gangster but they also know how to love their woman. Rashad is ruff but the way he shows love to his wife is phenomenal. Mu on the other hand his wife I can’t say I like her that much. Yes she loved her husband but I feel like she The I wAy she moving right now is rREAL sneaky and out right against his wishes and she doing what she don’t want him doing 🤦♂️.
The ending was a nice twist and leaves you wanting more.
This was a good read. The storyline was good and it flowed. The author is really good on detailing..hence giving you a very clear visual of the characters and the settings. At first I was like ok this is a typical love story among the brothers. But at the ending you can clearly see there's a lot more to the story as it now begins to unveil. A Great way of introducing the drama. I'm definitely intrigued now to find out what's next in these brothers lives.
This is my first read by this author, but definitely not my last. Really nice read and it flowed so very well. It had so many twist and turns and then throw in all the lies, secrets, drama, and action. Held my attention from beginning to end, a page-turner. What a ending and that's where it all came together. Well written and so entertaining, can't wait to see what happens next. Job well done Miss Jenesequa.
This was a good story! It's going to be interesting to see how this unravels at the end. Everyone is linked together somehow. I hope Mu doesn't go through with the abortion because her man told her that wasn't an option and he gives her anything she wants. That would really be selfish of her. Someone killed Rico and O wonder was it the Mitchell's or someone else. Can't wait til the next book drops!
This was a really good read as far as content goes. The storyline was on point. The female characters were doing me in with their mess but I was still entertained. The only thing that was throwing me off was the transitions from scene to scene. One moment I was in a bedroom and the next sentence deep in a car about to go kill somebody. However because this ending on such a mysterious cliffhanger I will be finishing this series.
These Mitchell Brothers are all that. I can not wait to see what happens in book 2. I have a feeling something is going to happen with their mother. Mulan is playing real dirty and I wonder what is going to happen with her. I can not believe the connection with the girlfriend, brother and daddy situation that was a straight cliff hanger for real. Come on book 2
I've been sleeping on Miss Jenesequa and I'm so sorry. Don't know whether or not I'm apologising to her or myself cause baby this book here..... I love the relationship between the brothers and how all of them look out for Mu and her people's. I think My is making a huge mistake but I can't wait to read part 2
This novel is everything Draya and Malakai are my favorite couple, Rashard & Mulan have a love so deep beautiful relationship, Makaiyah & Kendrell gone be ok...the MITCHELL BROTHERS didn't kill Rico he wasn't home when they broke in his crib..on to part 2 yesss Miss Jenesequa u a beast with tha pen.. I'm definitely a fan
Miss J does not disappoint. Mulan don't do it Rashard is not going to play. The brothers Mitchell. What can be said. They are strong characters . Great Start looking for more.💙💙💙💙💙
This was a page turner for sure loved how developed each person was and it was easy to keep up with them all. Didn't predict the ending though. Great read I need the next book to this one like ASAP
These women in this book put the S in stupid and the D in dumb. They act like juveniles. Mulan does not deserve Rashad. She’s selfish and sneaky, and using his love for her as a weakness.
This was my first read by Miss Jenesequa but it most definitely won't be my last. Her characters and storyline was very well developed. The ending left me wanting more. If you are looking for an great read, this is the book for you!!!
The Mitchell brothers are something else. I love how Rashard is all hard and then when it comes to Mulan he’s all soft. I love how he loves them. I also love how the cousins found love with the brothers. I hope Mulan doesn’t go through with it. Can’t wait for part two.
This book was so good. I love Rashard, Kia, and Ken! Mulan, Kiyah and Draya had a great friendship. I hope Mulan doesn’t go through with her plan. Can’t wait to read part 2
Omg can you say jaw dropping. Love this story line can’t wait to read the next book. Mulan foul for even thinking about abortion. Rah gonna beat her up . I don’t think they killed Rico.
Man this was a crazy good ride. Y’all better read it. I loved everything about it. Even though Mumu was making me mad towards the end about having another kid with her husband. But other than that I loved it.
