The LOVESICK CLUB is an exclusive, subscribers-only site on the dark web that offers the best in erotic and ultra-violent entertainment. There, matriarch Domino and her fellow dominatrixes punish and torture none other than their own loyal subscribers, many of whom pay good money to meet their end by her hand in front of a large, anonymous audience.
But in the eyes of her rage-filled haters, Domino is the MOTHER DEMON, a deranged succubus who oppresses men by turning them into her slaves. For this crime against men, she must be hunted down and PUNISHED.
After BOLERO and GOSPEL FOR A NEW CENTURY, LUANA VECCHIO invites you to explore the furthest limits of consent, idolatry, hate, and love in this modern, blood and neon-soaked horror saga that’s not for the faint of heart.
This was a pretty rough first issue. There was an ableist remark made by a viewer in the live stream chat that I was not feeling at all. Honestly, I'm not sure where this story is going to go. It appears that readers are following a woman by the name of Domino who is a dominatrix that physically harms (and possibly kills) men at their request for the entertainment of those that are watching. There also appears to be a group of individuals that look at sexual behavior as degrading and don't find sexual satisfaction with anyone. Their aim is to remove the world of the sexual ills that viewers are participating in by subscribing to and watching Domino and her girls. There are so many ways that this can be interpreted. And I'm thinking Vecchio is leaning towards a purity narrative. Domino seems to have a strong, domineering internet personality, but suffers from the lack of interpersonal connections. There is a specific panel that strongly illustrates that lack of intimacy that exists in her world. The artwork isn't necessarily my favorite which is a problem because this issue was light on the text. As result, readers are required to rely heavily on the artwork. It's definitely dark and gritty and relies heavily on reds, browns, and blacks. It's gory and not for the faint of heart so I would tread carefully when picking this up. I think I may give this one more issue, but if I'm not into it after that then I plan to drop it.
This comic is going to take off. Fans of the depraved, grotesque, and sexy need look no further than the pages of Lovesick for maximum depravity, grotesque themes, and sexy styling, theming, and characters. This comic is extreme in every way.
Pearl clutchers, on the other hand, are going to write to their local congressional leaders and demand that Luana Vecchio be burned at the stake.
My own tastes fall somewhere between. This punches a little harder than I'm comfortable with in terms of BDSM, snuff films, and torture, but I may just be a lightweight.
In terms of content, the prose is sparse and well-chosen and the art is slick and developed. The character motivation seems a bit strange to me, in that (as you'll see when you read it) it's hard to imagine humans behaving with such reckless abandon with regard to their own well-being. But it's a lifestyle I'm unfamiliar with, and masochists may act just like the victims in this story.
Anyway, pick up a copy and take a ride on the wild side!
I received a copy of this comic from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
Lovesick is an erotic horror story and the start of a journey within the dark web culture, through Domino's eyes; our main character. Vecchio's writing and illustrations are beautifully haunting and exciting; I look forward to future issues. Don't take this comic lightly, be ready for an intense read~
One of my most recent fascinations has been about how sex can effect one's mental health for both good or bad. The front cover by Luana Vecchio is what created the interest in the book but it's the story that is going to keep me. Vecchio's story is surprisingly fairly bloody. As someone who loves the horror genre and a good gag; it felt like nearly every page was blood soaked. I love that. The art is gritty to reflect the bloody nature of the story and it just really popped. Vecchio gave us just enough about the main character to create this mystery around her. Her mental health has been something I want more of and to see her character develop as well. Not to mention this book, even from a single issue, speaks volumes on how ruthless online communities can be.
New to comics, but this first issue was so odd. I feel like why is Domino doing what she's doing? Who really is she? What really is this? Hopefully Issue #2 will clarify the story line for this one because this was a solid "OK" a bit too depraved and sadistic for my taste but I can appreciate the artwork and intention.
Luana Vecchio has been drawing comics for a bit now, but her breakout was with Wyatt Kennedy's comic Bolero. Here though, Vecchio is flying solo.
Domino is a dominatrix. She and her girls kill and brutalizs men on her livestreams on the deepest and darkest parts of the web. Many of these men want her to do those things to them; she is their dark, devouring goddess who can satiate their most twisted desires. Some of these other men are incels, and actively hate Domino and women like her. Domino doesn't kill and brutalize these incels to get back at them and their misogynistic ideals (at least not in this first issue), but merely to fulfill her and her viewers desires. But behind it all, Domino is hiding something about herself. She lacks personal intimacy.
This issue was definitely set-up (as most first issues are), and I am curious to see where Vecchio goes with it. I love her art! This issue is definitely not for the faint of heart; it's not the most disturbing thing out there, but still pretty disturbing. I think what's most disturbing about it is that there are actual websites and people like this out there. DO NOT GO ON THE DARK WEB, FOLKS!
I don't really know what to say about Lovesick. I just think it's good.
I am curious to see if the title means something towards Domino. Does she miss someone she loves who doesn't accept what she does? Did that person die? Does she just want to feel loved and this is the only way she can get attention/adoration?
I have no idea what to think about the person she has in the suit at the end of the issue. The person has such a sad expression, but when Domino came to get them out of the cage, all they said was her name. Domino also said that it was their turn tomorrow. But it doesn't seem like a traditional precursor to how Domino would treat other men.
She also seemed so shy or insecure when taking them into the bedroom. Although she said they should lay on the floor because she didn't want it to get dirty, I think there's probably more of an underlying meaning there.

ero-guro comic about a woman who runs a snuff website and her relationship with the man who brought her into that life. read the prequel wich i thought was interesting but very flawed, this one did alot less for me. i cant deny that theres something intresting in the way this tells its story. the extreme brutality and bloody sex is graphic and appalling but rarely actually feteshizing, nor completely villianizing. not to say that it glorifies it, but it lets these lunatics be characters in their own right. never quite forms together as something engaging though. cant say i liked this but i didnt hate it.
This comic makes a little journey into the psyche of the human sexuality in the dark web. All kinds of individuals that express their worst side through the anonymity of the internet. And still we see Domino, our sad dominatrix, trying to make us feel desired and accepted, with our virtues and flaws. This is not for the faint of heart and VERY mature themes are explored here. Can't wait to know better of Mother Domino and her girls.
color me intrigued. grotesque and disturbing. obsessed with the art style. it’s dark, gritty, and unsettling. the last few panels were interesting. i want to know more about domino. there’s a lack of intimacy in her life, seeing as how she chose to seek out comfort and some form of affection, rather than continue with the livestream.

Okay first of all, there's a lot to take in but, wow. I love the art-style of this and the plot has me intrigued. I'm aware that these topics can be very controversial because they push the boundaries of what might be considered right or wrong. However, even the author, Luana Vecchio, said: "beauty can be rotten" and I couldn’t agree more.
This was an interesting first issue into this world of BDSM. I was not sure what to expect really going into this. There is a lot of gore and blood throughout the story. Seeing the dark web chat room was pretty cool. Although the story overall isn't bad, it's just not for me.
A dom named domino has a community that loves to watch her tournament people on stream. The people she’s tournamenting love to be tormented by her. Everything is love and blood and leather so far….
