Aaah! So good! A must-read for fans of AK’s Poplar Falls series. AK almost seamlessly transitions chapter to chapter going from each past hero & heroine to the next plus a few we’ve yet to get a personal POV from before. Merry Hearts nails it giving all the feels with a seasonal backdrop in this brief Christmas novella. Make no mistake, she didn’t forget to add some sexy - um, Charlotte & Payne = HOLY HOTNESS BATMAN! -. Now she must finally write Charlotte & Payne’s book, as well as Sonia & Foster(this pairing was possibly the more maddening tease only because AK’s barely scratched the surface with these two, but there is DEFINITELY something there.). Right? Pweaze? 😇😉

Well this was just all kinds of pleasant. I love when authors do these little extras for the holidays and this was extra special as it included a little snipet from everyone in this entire series. I really hooe the author continues as there are still many more characters I'm anticipating stories from 😍😍

Se que es pronto para pensar o incluso leer historias Navideñas pero no me pude resistir a esta novela.
Esta coleccion de historias fue muy linda, me gusto que todas las parejas tengan el mismo peso y sobre todo los adelantos de las parejas de los proximos libros, estoy especialmente emocionada por el tomo de Sonia y Foster.
En conclusion, una encantadora lectura. Es sencilla y emotiva, puede que incluso la vuelva a leer cuando realmente sea epoca de Navidad.

Exactly as the acknowledgements states at the end, this truly is a love letter for fans of the Poplar Falls series.
Set during the holiday season, it follows the core four couples plus a few special additions. With each chapter following a different character, I loved the brief glimpses into wedding planning, raising babies, living happily-ever-after, and new beginnings. Filled with romantic gestures from the beloved heroes, my heart is absolutely full of Christmas bliss. As each book is released, I fall a little more in love with these characters.

This Christmas novella was like a bonus epilogue from the first four and last two books combined. I loved it so much!!! It was a lovely tribute to the first four couples, along with Sophie’s parents and Aunt Doreen and Pop, and the couples in the last two books, and it was just warm and cozy and lovely. And the ending made me cry!!!!

I love holiday novellas, and even more when it's not the holiday season. The charlottepayne's chapters omg!!! I just know that they are going to be my favorite couple of the series

Part of this is my bad. I picked this up without reading anything else in this series so I didn't know any of the characters, which I'm wasn't helpful. However, after reading this I most certainly will not be reading any more. I did not enjoy the characters at all. The gender roles in this book are sooo traditional and I hate that. Women are referred to as "female" which is something I cannot stand, there was a good bit of talk about how men and women are just so different and women need to be comforted, the men seemed to not want women doing any physical labor, people use the term "girl" in a negative way, and there's an interaction where one of the women says that she thought he husband may have been disappointed when he found out they were having a girl. All of this was in just the 40 pages I read. Maybe some people don't have an issue with this but it just don't not reflect me and I can't enjoy it.

Skulle klart have læst de andre bøger først, og vil næsten gå så langt at sige, at den ikke kan læses uden - desværre. Universet virker ellers hygge nok, og man fornemmer virkelig, der er tale om found family og small town trope

If you’ve been following along with the Poplar Falls series, you will thoroughly enjoy catching up with the PF crew in this very festive holiday story. We bounce around perspectives from character to character and see what they’re up to for the holidays. I sure hope Amber Kelly has some more books planned for this series because I’m not done reading about this town yet! 4/5 stars.

salite in slitta con me che vi riporto a Poplar Falls, per un'incursione veloce veloce, a vedere come festeggiano loro il Natale.
Tutti insieme appassionatamente, mi pare ovvio 😅.
In "MERRY HEARTS" di Amber Kelly, breve novella natalizia, ritroveremo tutti i protagonisti della "Poplar Falls series" che abbiamo tanto amato e se per loro, il concetto di famiglia, equivale a condividere e aiutarsi a vicenda, non solo per legami di sangue ma per rapporti che vanno oltre, volete che non sia la stessa cosa anche a Natale, festa familiare per eccellenza?
Ritroveremo Sophie e Braxton, neogenitori alle prese con le loro scaramucce e incomprensioni, che riusciranno ad appianare grazie ai consigli delle sagge Doreen e Ria, che faranno capire loro che bisogna saper chiedere scusa e che il matrimonio è l'unione di due persone imperfette.
Elle e Walker si troveranno ad escogitare modi per realizzare i loro desideri, a costo di faticare il doppio e di rinunciare alle ore di svago, perché non c'è niente di più soddisfacente che vedere il sorriso sul volto della persona amata.
Dallas e Myer, invece, assistono con un po' di malincuore alla crescita di Beau, immaginando a quando ripenseranno con nostalgia ai momenti di stupore e scoperta dei regali realizzati per lui.
Bellamy e Brandt creeranno nuove tradizioni natalizie per la comunità e parteciperanno con entusiasmo alla realizzazione delle varie sorprese che ognuno sta attuando per la felicità delle proprie compagne, perché se c'è una cosa che non cambia mai a Poplar Falls è la condivisione e l'aiuto reciproco.
Sonia e Foster sono proiettati nell'attesa di quello giusto e di nuove possibilità, perché la novella ha luogo quando loro ancora non sono insieme, ma assisteremo ai loro primi approcci.
E infine Charlotte e Payne capiranno che la casa non è un luogo o una città, ma è dove stai bene, sono le braccia della persona che ti fa sentire al sicuro e che ti fa battere il cuore.
E poi tutti insieme a Rustic peak, dove c'è sempre posto per una sedia in più intorno alla tavola, dove una riunione di famiglia diventa una piccola festa di paese, dove la confusione e il rumore di voci e risate trasmettono amore, dove il vero valore è la condivisione, dove nei pensieri c'è sempre un angolino riservato per chi non c'è più.
Questa novella è stata una carezza e un abbraccio, di quelli che ti danno calore e che ti trasmettono solo belle emozioni.
Ora berretto e cappello, si sale in slitta e al suono dei campanelli si va verso una nuova avventura a caccia di emozioni.

Such a cute novella about all of our favorites! I would love to have more books in this series. I need to see Elle and Walker’s wedding, Charlotte and Payne, and hopefully Sonia and Foster’s story.
