Amelia Steele is a computer scientist who works on secret projects at one of the biggest global tech companies in the world. A place worth billions with political influence and power. She never realized how much of her life was drudgery until she met Holden Grayson, an elusive and charismatic man who is one of the company's secret investors.

Holden takes Amelia on a whirlwind romance, showering her with wealth, connections, and political power of unimaginable proportions—including a love she never thought possible. She'll follow him to the ends of the earth and do anything to keep him—even if it means turning her back on her family to launch herself into a life that's made from the stuff of dreams—or will it all turn out to be a nightmare and she'll never live to see her family again?

Kimberley Montpetit once spent all her souvenir money at the La Patisserie shops when she was in Paris—on the arm of her adorable husband. The author grew up in San Francisco, another swoon-worthy city, loves all things Parisian and chocolate and lives in a small town along the Rio Grande with her family.

Kimberley has won many awards for her work, including the Southwest Book Award, the Whitney Award, the Arizona/New Mexico Book Award, is a Crystal Kite Finalist (SCBWI) and included in the Bank Street College Best Books of the Year.

She once stayed in a haunted castle tower room at Borthwick Castle in Scotland, sailed on the Seine in Paris, walked the beaches of Normandy, eaten in numerous French cafes, ridden a camel in Petra, Jordan, sunbathed on Waikiki, shopped the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, and spent the night in an old Communist hotel in Bulgaria.

She adores all baked goodies; brownies, éclairs, donuts, tarts, and pie, and makes a lot of chocolate chip cookies while revising.

Kimberley is, of course, hard at work on her next novel(s).

Her Double Life Fake Fiancé is a clean, heartwarming romance with a lot of drama, suspense and intrigue! We've been waiting for this book for answers to questions about Amelia. I am surprised to say that this is one of the best romances I have ever read. Holden and Amelia have a great love story! In this well written, well plotted book Ms. Montpetit has done a superb job of answering all the questions and creating a believable, romantic HEA! I could not put it dowon!

Wow, I loved this long awaited ending to this series. All of my questions about Amelia's relationship with her husband Holden Grayson have been answered. This series really needs to be read in order and not as stand alone stories. Each story builds on the next one.

When computer scientist Amelia Steele met Holden while she was giving an important presentation about a new computer software that was actually a top level secret technology. There were sparks between them as their eyes met for the first time. An invitation to a dinner has her getting to know Holden but could she really trust him. Her judgement in boyfriends wasn't so good as her recent one was stalking her and become quite volatile.

When a threat is made on Amelia and her family concerning her secret technology- Holden steps in to get her to safety. This is the behind the scenes story that is now revealed in this book. Other parts of the story layer what was happening in the other books from Amelia's perspective.

I received a copy of this book from the author and this is my honest unbiased review.

Action packed suspense!

I couldn’t put this book down. I love the Romantic Suspense novels that Kimberley Montpetit has written thus far and this one didn’t disappoint. The island locations and travel were so much fun and Amelia and Holden were so great together.

Her Double Life Fake Fiancé

A sweet ending to a very good series. I have had problems downloading at least one of the other books in the series but was so glad I was able to read this one.

Oh my gosh I couldn't put this down. There is so much action, mystery and suspense. I loved Holden and Amelia and their perfect chemistry. I don't think I've read a story with better chemistry than these two. This is one of my most favorite stories I have read in quite some time. It's super sweet and clean.

I loved this book! Had a hard time putting it down. It was great seeing the other side of this story. Seeing everything from Amelia’s point of view. The heartache of leaving her family and the deep love she has for them.
Loved the chemistry of Amelia and Holden. There love story was so fun to read. It was a crazy story and even crazier to think this stuff is happening I. Real life.

Fabulous ending to an awesome series! I won't leave any spoilers, but the way Ms. Montpetit wrapped up the details from the previous books was perfection. I loved meeting Holden from Amelia's point of view, and seeing why she made the decisions she made in the other books. The story had the perfect blend of action, romance, & suspense. I can't wait to read more from this author!

All good stories have to come to an end. I really liked Amelia telling about her & Holden's relationship. I am sorry to be at the end but am thrilled with how Ms. Montpetit wrapped it all up. I really enjoyed this series. The books definitely need to be read in order to understand the storyline. I received a free copy from the author. I choose to write this review.

This one just didn’t do it for me. Maybe I just tried to read it at the wrong time. Maybe if I’d read it on a different day I might have felt differently about it. I found it very cheesy, kind of over the top. I prefer stories that are more edgy, have more action or suspense. This one was just saccharine sweet.

Sweet Romance

This story was hard to read, because I already read Erin’s side of the story. I kept waiting to see what would happen to the laptop with info. Still don’t know. I really liked the conclusion of the series and this story. I really like their family!

This was the perfect ending to this Fake Fiance' series. Ms. Montpetit wrapped everything up in a nice little bow. The only thing (person) missing in the grand finale was Lilah. I would have loved for that reunion. I highly recommend these quick paced novels. It was like reading five exciting novellas.
