He is often referred to as the “DIOR” of personal and professional development, leaving people feeling peaceful, inspired, and worthy of love and all that life has to offer them.
The intent of the book is genuine. I was moved by many of the ideas the author espoused; however it was almost impossible to read the book because there were numerous sentences that were incomplete and then were completed pages and paragraphs later. It was disjointed. I also was put off by the “car salesman” tone throughout the book. It seemed the author was very intent on selling his other books and promoting his life coaching business. Additionally the language was very repetitive and “flowery.” The author went all around the world trying to make a single point.
I would suggest a thorough editing to help other people successfully read the book.
I was intrigued by the descriptions I saw about this book, as they promised both psychological and scientific insights that would allow the reader to upgrade their mind. However, the book I read did not delve deeply into science or psychology but took what the author knew about technology and his own personal growth journey to continue to promise to give you the tools to be successful in life, love and finances. What was referred to as the “five-step methodology” was the discussion of different “masks” that we may not realize we show the world that could be holding a person back from being their authentic self. Much of the book felt repetitive while also feeling disjointed. While the book promises to help readers in their professional, financial, and personal lives, it felt like each section said the same thing with a different audience and goal in mind. It was the type of self-help book that continued to promise to teach you something and then, in the last 30 pages, started to refer to the lessons that the reader should have learned but left the reader wondering when and how they should have learned something. There were some interesting theories, quotes and anecdotes interspersed throughout the book but ultimately it felt like the content of a 3-page essay or blog post that was expanded into a 190 page book for the sole purpose of making money.
The following is a short excerpt that highlights one of the more insightful portions of the book, “Not taking full responsibility for your life just leads to blaming others and perpetuating your pain and suffering. As you use what you have learned so far to peel off this tough love persona’s façade, you learn to stop looking outwardly to find a person to blame for the pain felt inward.” The books stresses looking inward to discover your true “unfakeable” self, being honest, learning to not judge others and to love more. These are all positive, but also very basic, lessons and yet Selimi fails to actually provide the “tools” that are repeatedly promised. The only “tools” are found at the end of each section, as a list of work-book style questions. These questions are so generic that I believe you could easily find better questions to ask, that would require deeper introspection, for free with a quick internet search.
I received a free digital copy of the book to review and that copy was so poorly edited that it took all my willpower to finish, so that I could write an honest review. On a five star scale, I would rate this book one star due to the grammatical issues. A paragraph would randomly end, at times in the middle of the sentence, and you would randomly find the end of that paragraph several pages later in the middle of a different topic and paragraph. This issue started in the testimonies prior to the introduction of the book and remained throughout the book, making it extremely difficult to read. In addition to this there were numerous grammatical errors and typos, the most common of which were spaces in the middle of words. I tried to focus my review on the content of the book itself, even without these huge editing/formatting issues, I’m not sure the book would deserve more than one star.
At its core, The Unfakeable Code is a deep mental exercise to help you become a better, truer version of yourself.
Tony's message consists of 5 principles: 1. Unmask yourself 2. Survive to thrive 3. Master your emotions 4. Don't let the outside diminish your inside 5. Love and kindness towards yourself and others
The principles themselves are nothing new, but most time-tested wisdoms are such. The author curated these principles because they made the most difference in his life, his business and relationships. For each principle, he then goes into detail by giving you mental exercises to slowly change the way you see yourself and the world.
I skimmed the book once and then went back to the parts that spoke to me. The skimming is necessary because there's a lot of fluffy praises and acknowledgements in the beginning. It's good to introduce the author's ideas and to make the readers excited about what's coming. But I'm the type of person who likes to get to the point.
The true value of the book is the questions the author poses. You NEED to take the time to stop and think about how those questions apply to yourself. Those questions are difficult and time consuming, but if you put in the time it will kind of make you discover small epiphanies about how your internal and automatic biases shape your thinking and actions.
You can imagine Tony is your coach. (He is, actually, in real life, to CEOs and leaders and he wrote other best-selling self-help books.) He's sitting in front of you, asking YOU a question about yourself that no one ever asked before, that you never really gave any thought to. And he's waiting for you, like a patient therapist or mentor for you to think and answer him back honestly, no matter how long it takes.
I'll give you an example. In the book, in bold, the author asks, “What would change in your awareness and your state of being if the faces of the billions of people are simply the masked representation of yourself?”
See what I mean? It's not an easy question like, “what do you think your biases are” or “what makes you think how others see you” and etc. Easy questions get quick and easy responses. The questions in this book are not like that. To me, that's where the true value of this book lie. Of course, you get the value only if you can actually put the time into it. It won't be easy.
Overall I enjoy this book. It's short but requires a bit more work. Not many people like to be questioned about the fundamental ways they think. Not many people are willing to put in the work to change themselves.
Certain parts of the book jump a bit. Sometimes the author will talk about an idea and then jump into something else. And then he'd come back to it later in the book. This didn't bother me too much. I think it's just the way he thinks and talks in real life. This book reads more like a conversation than a textbook.
I'm glad I came across this book in the beginning of the year. There were a lot of changes in my life, a lot of world events in the previous two years or so. I feel like I'm cycling through chaos, damage control, and demotivation. Now that I have some time I feel like I can stop and take a breath, feel the time go by as things return to normal. In this cool down period, I'm faced with the uneasy task of reflection. It's painful, but necessary.
I'm thankful for the fact that this book came into my life during this time.
After reading a few self-help books in the past, I went into this book ready to be inspired, mostly after the 30-minute opening packed with praise. Tony captures the reflection on self-sabotage, people-pleasing, and the masks/personas we wear daily. The book is an amazing blend of being present like in The Power of Now with its self-awareness, and spiritual tone of manifestation of The Secret but shorter and easier to digest. The narrator was amazing - truly elevated the experience! The writing was also very well thought out and backed by science as Tony also states. Despite it being stated that this is a “5 stages” process, it felt more like a series of reflection questions and recommendations to get a life coach, which felt repetitive and a bit pushy but could resonate with readers who may be journaling these self-reflection questions just isn't enough. The questions throughout the book would be powerful for someone who is going through or facing an identity crisis or burnout due to people pleasing. The questions do invite the reader to pause and understand what it is they are feeling before moving on, bypassing it, or letting their emotions take over. The only thing for me again was the expectation of a step-by-step process, but there was no real structure or blueprint layout. Chapter 4 stood out to me the most, I think we tend to give our power away too easily and Tony explains the reclaiming of your power even when in an emotional state due to other's pain with the quote “The voice of their pain is speaking to your pain.” - a line that lingered with me. It taps into how our reactions come from unhealed wounds including others who may be hurtful towards you. This invites readers to pause and self-reflect as to why something upsets them or why someone else may be upset. Certain things didn’t quite land. The intro was too drawn out, and the first chapter gave me clarity but everything before that felt self-congratulatory. I also think the book tends to idealize radical authenticity. Being unapologetically your authentic self shouldn’t mean ignoring manners or social context. It feels like it speaks of things at each end of the spectrum or the other without exploring the value of balance, having emotional intelligence, or compromising. The message felt a little extreme at times, being fearlessly yourself without regard for others isn’t the same as being authentically kind. I found myself wanting balance. I kept waiting for “the code” or “how-to”, sadly it never truly came. My final thought is that I would recommend this to someone who is new to exploring self-awareness or feeling lost in their identity or people-pleasers. For someone looking for clear guidelines, a step-by-step, clear framework this might feel more like a motivational speech with some questions for your self-reflection journal. I must say that I walked away with more questions than I did answers, which isn’t bad I guess but not what I was hoping for mostly after the 30 minutes of praising in the beginning.
The Unforgeable Code When I read the title of the book, it came to my mind that it is a book about software, digital programs, and computers. However, it is a book about human development that searches within you for your true personality. The author Tony explains that a person grows up surrounded by people from a young age who use criticism, guidance, expectations, and judgment to make you do what they want you to do without your knowledge. Your mind is trained to conform to the desires and ideas of others for you, just like a computer that is programmed with a set of commands. Your mind is programmed with a set of commands that you are subject to throughout the stages of your life. This book gives you the perfect way to reprogram your mind to reach your true personality, the authentic, unforgeable code. Tony talked about the fact that all people wear masks all the time to prevent their true personalities from appearing. Tony discussed in this book all the problems we face and the masks we use to confront these problems and hide our authentic truth that cannot be falsified. He also provided us with the ideal and brilliant solution to get rid of these problems the fall of the masks and the emergence of our authentic personality. Tony set five principles for changing behavior and programming your mind to achieve life results. Tony explained each principle separately, clarifying the problems and punishments we face in our lives and the masks we use to confront these punishments, with clarification with examples from his personal life and from clients who have been treated. He provided us with the solution to get rid of these masks and the emergence of our authentic personality by answering a set of questions at the end of each chapter to reprogram our minds and get rid of old ideas that restrict us and cause us despair and frustration, and exercises to change behavior. While reading the book, masks appeared to me that I did not know I was using. When Tony talked about the mask of helping people without asking for anything in return, I used to use the mask of love and help without asking for anything in return, but when my help was refused, I felt hopeless, frustrated and unappreciated. Tony explained to me! Yes, he explained to me because I felt while reading that he was talking to me. Using this mask is for control, imposing opinions and wanting to feel successful and appreciated. It was a bright spot in my mind and when I did the exercise, I felt a change in my thoughts. When he addressed the most important problem we face in this era, the lack of financial resources the constant pursuit of meeting the basic needs of life and our constant feeling of frustration, Tony gave us the right way to reach financial freedom. When I did this exercise, ideas appeared to me that I had never thought of before. I did not know that I could achieve these ideas, but with the exercise of reprogramming my behavior to meet my financial needs and reach financial freedom, I was able to see my capabilities. I liked a sentence in the book, "Your soul is the constant connection to all that life represents." When we talked about the mask of blaming others when we fail in something, Tony said, "When you try to blame someone, you give them your power." He mentioned an important rule in life that honestly lit up the darkness in my mind, "When you point your index finger to blame someone, your thumb points to God, and your little finger, ring finger, and middle finger point to you." The exercise of changing your behavior and reprogramming your mind to confront bullies in your life is a precious gift for every person who suffers from bullying and a lack of self-confidence. Before reading this wonderful book, I did not know the meaning of love wisely. It is mastering the art of taming the luminous forces that control your being and your true personality. When you do the exercises for the principle of developing emotional intelligence, you will get rid of the false masks that you wear in the name of love. When you get to know your authentic personality that cannot be faked, you will enjoy a happy life and love will be a powerful weapon in all aspects of your life. The book deals with the reality of the permanent conflict between women and men, explaining that each of them expects needs from the other, and when the other party fails to meet these expectations, defensive masks begin to appear. But by reprogramming our minds and the behavioral change exercise found in the book, we can get rid of this conflict. Tony answered a universal question that is confusing to all of us: Is fate? He answered this question in a wonderful way that will change your view of life forever. "Fate puts opportunities before us, but our destiny is determined by our minds" and gave us a way to reach inspiration. Finally, Tony provided the way to reach inner peace in the most beautiful sentence "You will not find peace with others if you are at war with yourself. Those who can see life objectively are the ones who can influence life." I liked the way the book presented the principles easily and simply supported by stories from his personal life and some clients. Honestly, one of the stories was present in my reality. Anyone can read The Unfakeable Code and benefit from the principles of behavior change that work to reduce stress and resolve conflicts. By using the exercises and answering the questions at the end of each chapter, you will be able to unite with your true self, the unfalsifiable code. Mention a sentence that inspired me: "Living as an honest and clear person is the truest form of self-love that can help you leave an everlasting legacy." I would like to thank the inspiring author Tony J. Selimi, an award-winning human development expert, pioneer of many registered human development methodologies, business consultant, perception expert, and specialist in human behavior, health psychology, wealth, and success. I rate this wonderful book 10 stars and more
This amazing self help book is in my top favorite books in this genre. I couldn't put this book down.
The Unfakeable Code, quote from the book: "We never stop learning, growing, be yourself, more authentic, embrace who you are and take of your "mask."
I'm writing my review in exchange for my honest opinion and review on Netgalley. Thank you to the author and publishers for allowing me the honor of reading before books are released to the public.
I was intrigued to read this as being your authentic self and learning and growing and having a growth mindset is something I really believe in. This book is very interesting and helpful and I recommend if you want to start on this journey.
Review The Unfakeable Code is authored by Tony Jeton Selimi The Unfakeable Code is the Amazon best selling multi award winning piece of art. It sheds light on critical human nature of acting fake and under several layers of lies, which affects physical, mental and emotional progress of a person. People use to live under many layers of fake identities. It’s a general perception to conceal original self in front of others. Different personalities of a person do not let progress in any field. By following the five principles of authenticity, highlighted in this book, a person will dynamically change the path of life. Being fake leads to failure, mental illness, illusions and loss of concentration. No being authentic urges negativity and affects business, wealth, family relations, career and wellbeing. A person is more attracted to negative personas instead of unmasking and take off layers of impure personalities. The wrong way of being fake in front of others establishes quick but unstable progress. One must adopt authenticity and objectivity to reach destiny. These masks of fake personas hinder to know our actual self. The real powers are lost and person moves towards fabricated mannerisms. One must always stand with truth and honesty to acquire objectives. The fears of different anxieties throw us in a field of fake appearances and halt the power of thinking and research. True personality hides behind masks which subsequently impacts our mental and emotional ability. We must know the actual reasons stopping us to take off artificial self. The choices made by a person, whether negative or positive decide our destiny. The authentic behavior assist to shake up inner self and dig in our true personality, which may have actual powers leading toward happiness, success and. Transformation from a scared person to a hardworking, knowing others, not judging every person negatively, certainty appreciating fellows, caring for colleagues and family, cultivates joy and prosperity. One must release negative emotions and build pessimistic perspectives for everyone around us. The fake scared inner self lose our consciousness. Stop acting in fear and overwhelmed by emotions. Until and unless inner control is taken back, productivity is nowhere to be seen. We must judge ourselves in others eyes and not by evaluating others. Pessimistic thoughts for others actually is the weakness in our self. Stand tall in authentic way and solve the difficulties of humanity. We always think for our thoughts and judge ourselves by arguments, which actually is the fake character. Person must select compassion and authenticity to enhance capability to take off masks.
The Unfakeable Code highlights the general weakness of society, of living in the world of fakeness instead of knowing our true self.
This book is recommended for every scenario personalities, startups, entrepreneurs, managers, doctors, scientists, engineers, and students.
I give this book a rating of 2 on 5 stars. There were some things I really did enjoy in this book and others, most of which which I enjoyed less. I was really looking forward to starting this book as it seemed like it would hold a fountain of knowledge and many promots that could be used to better the self. It did contain a lot of knowledge, however, it was honestly not what I expected it would be. The information displayed and the book as a whole was more of a retelling of how the information altered the authors life and the lives of the authors clients as opposed to being information or facts directly related to the topic itself.
Another reason why I rated it 2 stars is because a lot of what is written in the introduction part of the book is not really directly related to the rest of the content in the book. I was also a little confused at how the topics were divided in the book because even after getting into the section of principle #1, there is some information in there that does not directly corelate to the main topic of principle #1. I found that aspect a little but confusing, especially as it seemed to be a main theme in the book as it happened in future principles #'s as well.
At times, this book also felt somewhat "car salesman-ey" because the author kept referring back to other books that the same author wrote in the past (this was more prominent in the beginning of the book and does not last throughtout). The information could have been given without needing to mention the prior books the author had written multiple times, so I did feel like it was a little excessive and it didn't add much in terms of quality of content. For me, I find that it actually reduced the quality of the content in the book as it felt rather off-putting to try to be sold a book to a reader while said reader is already reading one of the authors books.
What I did enjoy was that there were many prompts in the book and I did find them all usefull and intriguing. They make way for a lot of existential examination of the mind which is a nice self-reflection strategy to try to easily figure out where you stand in your everyday life and where the book is telling you that you can stand instead.
Having focused on mainly trying to apply the information in a practical way, I was really engaged in the prompts that this book provided. I especially like the prompts from the "master your emotions, save a life" section. It really dives deep into the emotional way you see things and it gives you the chance to scrutinize the emotions and feelings you had in certain scenarios and deternine how those emotions and feelings impacted your decisions and your confidence to life your day-to-day duties in the way that you did and will continue to do moving forward. It's not easy asking yourself the tough questions to start making positive changes in your life, especially when you are unaware of what questions you should even be asking. This book simplifies that worry with prompts and let's you dig deep into your self to do more self-discovery work than you even thought you'd be capable of doing.
Overall, this was a very interesting book to read regardless of the fact that I did not enjoy it as thoroughly as I had hoped I would. I did learn a lot about myself in the process of reading it which is a huge positive!
I found it difficult to tell if Tony Selimi’s book The Unfakeable Code fits in a bookstore or library's nonfiction, self-help, or marketing section. The book starts out with over 15 pages of praise for the book and Tony’s coaching work. The meat of the book, from the Introduction to the second-to-last page about the fifth principle, is only 156 pages. More than 30 additional pages follow. In other words, about 20% of the book markets Selimi’s books and coaching services.
Selimi uses his formal computer programming education to initially explain that a person can rewrite the code for their brain, or how they think about their life, yet limits how much he uses this analogy when discussing the five principles a person should use to change their perspective on one or more areas of their life. The five principles reflect sound psychological principles, and words like masks, facades, and personas are more commonly used than computer terminology.
The Unfakeable Code provides sound psychological advice in the areas of cognitive behavioral therapy and emotion regulation. No one disputes that thinking more objectively or positively about a situation will often lead to more positive actions being taken, yet Selimi is not a psychologist, therapist, or neurologist. Thankfully, he does mention that it is okay to use such professionals, yet includes coaches who, at least in the United States, don’t require formal training or certification to demonstrate competence. Selimi is certified in coaching, but how does that compare to individuals with at least master’s degrees and government-issued licenses in these other professions?
As a registered nurse who has worked in neurology and studied psychology, I really enjoyed this book, found the principles practical, and the activities thought-provoking. Yet, I don’t think Selimi was the best person to write this book. Yes, he has anecdotal evidence that these five principles work. He talks about the science and psychological theories that support these principles but barely touches on how their work aligns with the five principles he discusses.
Finally, I cannot give this book the five out of five stars it deserves, as novum publishing bills itself as being a publisher for first-time authors yet lacks the extra support a first-time author would need. I often had to reread sentences to understand what the author was trying to communicate and found “façade” to be a distracting way of spelling facade. The Unfakeable Code is Selimi’s 2nd full book, along with writing a section in Fit-For-Purpose Leadership #3. I guess popular publishing companies saw The Unfakeable Code as a marketing piece, not a nonfiction or self-help book.

The Unfakeable Code by Tony Jeton Selimi is a thought-provoking guide on living authentically and taking control of one's life. Selimi, drawing from his personal experiences and professional expertise, presents a comprehensive framework aimed at helping readers align their lives with their true selves and lead authentically.
One of the book's primary strengths lies in its practical advice. Selimi offers actionable steps that readers can integrate into their daily routines, bridging the gap between theory and practice. His holistic approach covers a wide range of topics, including emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and resilience, making the book a well-rounded resource for personal development.
The author's use of personal stories adds a relatable and inspirational touch to the narrative. These anecdotes illustrate the principles discussed and provide concrete examples of overcoming life's challenges. Selimi's clear framework and structured approach help readers navigate through the content systematically, enhancing the book's practical utility.
However, the book is not without its flaws. At times, the language is dense and theoretical, which may pose a challenge for readers seeking straightforward guidance. Additionally, some concepts are repeated throughout the book, leading to a sense of redundancy. While personal stories are engaging, their heavy use sometimes overshadows broader, more universally applicable advice.
Another notable drawback is the occasional lack of scientific backing for some claims and strategies. Readers who prefer evidence-based approaches might find this aspect lacking. Furthermore, the book contains some typographical errors and inconsistent formatting, which can disrupt the reading flow.
Overall, The Unfakeable Code is an inspiring and empowering read that offers valuable insights for those on a journey of personal growth. Despite its shortcomings, Selimi's motivational tone and practical advice make it a worthwhile addition to the self-help genre. With a bit more refinement and scientific support, it could become an even more impactful resource for readers.
The Unfakeable Code, by author and coach Tony Jeton Selimi, is a book that reveals the power of a new perception of our sense of being, thinking, and acting, which impacts and challenges the limiting beliefs we affirm throughout our lives. It demonstrates the power of the mind and how we can change our self-perception, thus paving the way for new achievements in life. The book presents five interconnected principles designed to unveil our most authentic selves and provide a new way to view ourselves and the world. It encourages us to reconsider the concepts we have shaped and are living by, showing that we can forge a new path through self-knowledge and the power of our own minds. Personally, I found the book cover not very appealing. However, upon reading it, I found it quite intuitive. Throughout its pages, it shares events from Selimi's life and instructs us on improving various aspects of ourselves. It inspires us to seek new discoveries that have been suppressed due to lack of expectations about ourselves, whether from ourselves or others as we navigate through life. It illustrates that we are capable of anything by simply reshaping how we view ourselves and our surroundings, harnessing the power of the law of attraction. The book offers authenticity, wisdom, and freedom that have been trapped in our minds due to past anxieties, fears, or uncertainties. It reveals a new perspective on the world, attracts psychological balance, and liberates you from limiting beliefs that kept you stuck in your current state, enabling you to become a new being and see the world through different eyes. As someone who enjoys topics related to psychology, I may be biased in my opinion. Nevertheless, I was very pleased with it despite the cover not being particularly attractive compared to what the book offers. What stood out to me is that it presents a new way of thinking, acting, reacting, and perceiving the world in countless ways, demonstrating that we can shape our own reality. I would easily recommend it to a friend interested in self-discovery; it's beneficial for those seeking both financial and personal growth. It proposes new ways to perceive and live life.
Tony Jeton Selim's book "THE UNFAKEABLE CODE" is about getting your life back on track by living authentically and freely on your terms. It consists of five unfakeable codes you can utilize to cover your inner destroyed persona. He used his life experiences (childhood, adulthood, and a career as a life coach and consultant) to help individuals use his codes.
Being able to find out and acquire the book has been my great honor. In my life, I have needed guidance and someone who could show me the right path. While reading Tony's first principle of unfakeable code, I was able to discover the self-deceptive persona, that I usually utilize to cover my broken persona. Moreover, I discovered that my life also consists of different kinds of masks that are used to disguise my sorrowful existence.
A quote from the book that relates to my life is "To safeguard myself from predators. I lived daily being a people's pleaser, hiding my pain, and who, deep down, I knew I was." I also left my family, lived alone and had a lonely life because I was trying to protect myself and didn't dare to face reality.
Continuing to the second, third, fourth and fifth principles of unfakeable codes, there are: models of reality, emotions, power and love. Here Tony mentions the types of persona a person can use and those also that need to be changed, so one can be able to live authentically. By accepting reality and healing from painful experiences, one can live an honest and authentic life. Furthermore, do not allow your emotions to build an impenetrable shield which can result in you not being good enough to take care of your emotions and can destroy your life. Moreover, the loving persona emphasizes love. Love can win every battle, with love we can conquer and restore our lives on the track of unfakeable.
As I conclude, I recommend this book to every individual who is broken, confused, frustrated and living a lie just to impress others. Use the exercises from the book that Tony provides. These exercises can solve your life's problems. I'm very impressed with the book and I grant it four stars since I was able to restore my authentic and free self.
At first I was hesitant on reading this because I usually don't like reading self-help books. I'm glad I read this though it helped me learn more about myself. I learned that like a lot of the things that I don't like other people doing I'm struggling with those things within myself. This book gave me a better insight about myself and how I can do better in my life and how I can heal myself. I like how it teaches you a lot about how to be your authentic self and I also loved how the author like put his own experiences in there. It helps me to feel more seen knowing that some of the things I struggle with he struggled with himself. It makes me feel less alone. I also liked how he put other people's experiences in there and how like he helped other people. I also liked how in his book he had like exercises that you could do to help yourself. That's what I like in self-help books when they have like exercises in there that you can try yourself. It makes it more beneficial for everyone when a self-help book has those in there. I rated this a three out of four and a four out of five because I would have liked shorter chapters because I felt a little bit overwhelmed with how long the chapters were. That's just my personal preference everyone's different for me when it comes to self-help books I like the chapters to be a little shorter. I also would have liked if he had like more activities to do in the self-help book, for example like questions here and there throughout the chapters where you can actually write in there for example like questions here and there throughout the chapters where you can answer them in a paragraph in the book. Overall I think this would be a great read if you want to be more in touch with your authentic self and if you want to be more in touch with your inner child. Also this is a good read for if you're really stuck in your life it could really help you feel less stuck. This book can help you grow more as a person so I recommend it for that reason as well.
“The Unfakeable Code®” is a book that delves into the realms of authenticity, personal growth, and leadership in life. It introduces this concept of “The Unfakeable Code” that people should use as a blueprint to live authentically. It addresses the concept of wearing “masks” in life and not being true to who you are, feeling stuck in life, and being a “follower” both at home and work/public. This being stated, it encourages people to break free from these masks or, in better words, false identities that they are playing.
One important point in the book that I feel various readers would enjoy is that is a path of self-discovery. The book wants to help the reader understand how to manage the self-hate we give to ourselves and use our emotions more positively. They want the reader to learn how to become more of a leader rather than, in their words, a “people pleaser” Through this the book offers insights into self-healing, mindset transformation, body-mind-heart exercises (developing ways to deal with anxiety, conflicts, and stress.) and how to maximize your potential in life. I do appreciate that the book shows examples of real-life people/celebrities for us to relate to and also shows the science behind our actions by showing results from doctors and results from research. I also like that they give proper credit to other writers and people who work on the parts they quote in the book.
I would give this book 4 out of 5 stars because certain sections felt repetitive and echoed earlier content, which could become monotonous. This redundancy may lead readers to lose interest and skip parts of the book instead of engaging with them. The book contains no explicit language or detailed discussions of sexual content. It briefly touches on sex and sexual identity, highlighting how suppressing one’s true self or conforming to “masks” can lead to desperation and negative outcomes. This shows this internal struggle may manifest as fears and addictions, clouding judgment and impacting various aspects of life, including sexual relationships and self-acceptance.
A DIFFERENCE TO BE A DIFFERENCE, MUST MAKE A DIFFERENCE…. (Unknown ) This book fails to make any meaningful impact. Throughout its numerous pages, the text repeatedly centers around the author's self-promotion and accolades. If you have a strong desire to read page after page of Tony Jeton Selimi's self-aggrandizing commentary, then this is the book for you. My interest in reading any book would be to enjoy an intriguing story development or in the case of a self-help book, some constructive and unknown insight. The five principles outlined in the book are cliché and overused, offering nothing original that could enhance the mental, physical, or emotional well-being of readers. The writing is poorly structured, and the author's incessant references to his copyrights are excessive, adding little to the reader's personal development. Overall, the book is dull, repetitive, and quite tedious. While it contains numerous references and quotations from various famous figures, the abundance of outside examples detracts from any sense of individual creative self-development. One could turn to the century-old work of the Tao Te Ching, with its fewer than 100 concise passages, to gain profound insights into personal control and self-awareness—wisdom that promotes a balanced life. In short, “The Unfakeable Code” does not present any original thoughts or dialogue that might contribute to a successful living guide. The author highlights five principles related to emotions and self-reflection but focuses on the external rather than the internal journey of self-adjustment. The writing appears overwhelmingly introspective from the author's perspective, without offering new or innovative insights. The book is edited well with no discrepancies in grammar. The book does not contain vulgar language or sexual content that would eliminate any audience. In conclusion, “The Unfakeable Code” presents nothing new or conclusive. My rating for this book is a generous 1 out of 5.
The Unfakeable Code by Tony Jeton Selimi In a world where people often pretend to be someone else, The Unfakeable Code by Tony Jeton Selimi encourages us to be our true selves. This self-help book explores how we can change ourselves for the better and gives us easy tips to reach our full potential. Selimi combines science, his own life stories, and spiritual ideas to create a helpful guide for finding ourselves.
What I Liked:
One of the best things about this book is how it explains being authentic step by step. Selimi’s five-step method is like a helpful map for escaping what society expects from us. The activities at the end of each chapter are particularly useful; they not only share knowledge but also push us to think deeply and make real changes.
Another strong point is Selimi's personal story. His own experiences make the book believable and relatable, especially for those who feel unsure about themselves. He brings in ideas from brain science, understanding emotions, and business that make this book different from other self-help books.
What Could Be Better:
Even though the book gives great advice, some parts repeat ideas, making certain chapters feel a bit long. A little editing could make it easier to read. Also, readers who want only scientific facts might not enjoy the spiritual parts as much.
Who Should Read This?
If you want to break free from limits you place on yourself, build confidence, or improve your leadership skills, this book is for you. It’s especially helpful for people who want to change their mindset and be true to themselves at work and in life.
In Summary:
The Unfakeable Code is a strong, helpful book that encourages readers to find and accept their true selves. It offers a mix of psychological ideas, real-life applications, and personal development tips that are valuable for anyone wanting to grow.

"The Unfakeable Code®" by Tony Jeton Selimi is a self-help book designed to help readers discover their true selves and shed the masks they wear for societal acceptance. Many people present a facade to appear more favorable, which can lead to feelings of emptiness and disconnection from their authentic identities. I found "The Unfakeable Code®" to be an excellent read. The author shares personal experiences and insights throughout the journey, emphasizing the significant influence of his mother's teachings on his life.
I found this guide very helpful, particularly in deepening my self-awareness. The author draws parallels between the human mind and computer programming, emphasizing the need for constant upgrades. Using relatable examples, Tony Jeton Selimi addresses self-deceit and people-pleasing, sharing personal stories to illustrate the journey toward authenticity.
I appreciated the author's emphasis on viewing ourselves and others without judgment. He recognizes that we all have both good and bad traits and stresses the importance of balance. Each person’s journey is unique, and the practical lessons include deep-thinking exercises at the end of each principle, making them applicable to individuals across various fields.
This book is ideal for beginners in self-help, offering detailed insights and valuable information. However, I found that some sections were lengthy, which caused my interest to wane at times.
I recommend this book to anyone looking to improve their life. However, if you prefer shorter introductions, you might want to skip it, as each section has a lengthy preamble. I rated it 4 out of 5 stars, deducting one star due to the long introductions that made it hard for me to stay engaged.
The unfakeable code by Tony Selimi is a great book with relatable stories in each chapter on how to stop pretending to be someone you're not, and to tap into you own authentic self. There are 5 points that make this journey easy to get through, and the homework pages also make it different from every other fix you over night. It forces you to do the work that is needed to achieve true authenticity and to life a shameless, unapologetic, fulfilled life. Some of the chapters would be harder to read for people who aren't avid readers, but that isn't a problem for me, because I regularly read thick volumes. This book is something I would recommend to anyone who struggles with insecurity, or a feeling of not belonging. Having to live a fake life is exhausting, but now you no longer have to.
The book is filled with deep psychological concepts but without the pretentiousness of educated jargon and the cliched quoting of Freud. It is therefore easy to read without being to simplified that it reads like a children's book, but down to earth enough that it feels like you are talking to a friend who doesn't judge but understands.
It is also great that Tony uses up to date concepts like the influence of technology and social media on society and a person's psyche today. It would probably need updating as the emergence of AI and other technological development keeps growing while we can't afford to stay behind, although I am sure that is being taken into consideration.
The book is overal well written, with a couple of repeated phrases, but not too much to make it annoying. The content is well put together and usefu
I really enjoyed reading The Unfakeable Code by Tony Jeton Selimi and give this book a 5/5 star rating. I find that The Unfakeable code is a very inspirational book when it comes to embarking on the journey of finding your authentic self. This book has taught me a lot of lessons throughout the variety of topics covered. For example, the section that refers to Maslow's hierarchy of needs really spoke to me because we all have basic needs like shelter, food, jobs, etc. However, some of us struggle with maintaining these needs because we have other issues going on like not having a great relationship with food or a variety of other scenarios within our basic needs. As you read The Unfakeable code you will see that in each section of the book there are some exercises that you can use to journal and follow along with the book, I really enjoyed those parts. I highly recommend this book if you're looking to become a better version of yourself, or if you just enjoy reading self help books for different tips. I didn't see any grammar errors, but there are some information about sexual assaults discussed so if that is a trigger then you may want to skip over that portion. I highly recommend that everyone gets a copy of The unfakeable code because it’s a very beneficial read, each topic covered you will find connections to some of the stories shared, and even learn fun facts along the way. One of the many quotes that are interesting that I noted while reading is from the beginning of the book which is, “ Reading books improves your brains elasticity and efficiency.” I will continue to refer my friends and family to this book and especially my reader friends who watch my videos.
This is a self motivated book for personal, professional and bussiness development. The main aim of author is to empowers the readers to get focus on self awareness rather than wearing a fake mask and trying to please society. The best thing about this book is that author has given his own experiences and also other people's experinces so that reader can take decisions to make an impact in their life. I got this book during the hard time of my life and This book guided me that how can i think about myself, be the person who i'm and take decision that can improve my self-value rather than being in a delusion that what people will think about me or will criticize my decisions. I also like that in this book the author has also given some exercise and by answering those exercise reader can get self clarity about themself and also there are five code given in this book to upgrade our mindset and change our life rather than being on a rat race of old mindset always be on a societal pressure and downgrade our life. The only thing which i don't like about this book is that it's a long book and i generally prefers shorts book but still it was a fun reading book because at every point of this book the author has only emphisized on giving the importance to the readers itself than being a people pleaser.
I really had a hard time trying to finish the book. It is not only repetitive, but the first chapters are only like book promotion, who said what about the book, and the rest was praise to himself and how he overcame the different challenges with his method. This could be a brief guide with a concise explanation of the 5 principles with a technique to apply to our daily lives. Instead, it is painfully long and imprecise, with examples of C-level Executives; I couldn't relate to any situation or find anything useful for me and my lifestyle. On top of that, there were a lot of editorial mistakes, capital letters, unnecessary spacing in the middle of words, or just the first letter and missing the rest of them, endpoints that were missing, missing commas, cacophonies that broke the reading fluency, which is already quite difficult to maintain. I just got a lot of highlights here and there, loose and beautiful phrases that would be perfect for bumper stickers. I definitely do not recommend this book.
I eagerly dove into this book, devouring it on Audible, where the narrator's calming accent drew me in deeper. The themes of unmasking, self-discovery, and discerning between our strengths and weaknesses were masterfully explored, resonating deeply. The quote 'Your soul is the only constant connection to what your life represents' struck me profoundly, highlighting how we often hinder our own growth. Realizing our power to shape our destinies, albeit gradually, was empowering. Inner peace, the key to determining our paths, felt within reach. This book serves as a beacon, reminding us to be kinder to ourselves, to rediscover who we are, and to break the cycle of self-sabotage for future generations. It's a transformative read, worth revisiting time and again.
"The Unfakeable Code" is a valuable resource for personal growth and self-awareness, offering a comprehensive approach to identifying strengths and weaknesses. The book provides real-life examples, practical advice, and a structured approach to self-awareness through its five principles. While it excels as a motivational guide, some areas lack depth, and the repetitive principles and limited perspectives might detract from its credibility. Nevertheless, the book is well-written, engaging, and free of errors. Overall, it's a worthwhile read for those seeking a motivational guide, and with further development, it could be even more effective in helping readers achieve their personal growth goals. Rating: 4.5/5
The Unfakeable Code is a book that talks about how important it is to be yourself. It's like when you're trying to fit in but it just doesn't feel right. This book says that's totally okay! It's actually better to be real and honest about who you are.
The author talks about how pretending to be someone you're not can make you feel stressed and unhappy. It's like wearing a costume all the time. Wouldn't you rather be comfortable in your own skin?
The Unfakeable Code gives you tips on how to figure out who you really are and how to be proud of it. It's like a guide to being awesomely you!
If you ever feel like you're putting on an act or trying too hard to impress others, this book might be helpful. It's all about being confident and happy with the amazing person you already are.

After reading this book, I felt like I had spent my time doing something useful, and in the end, this book gave me what I expected at the beginning. The author discusses the root of the problem: Who are we? What do we want from our lives?
The self-introduction formulas suggested by the author are a wonderful blend of scientific and spiritual thoughts. In his presentation, you do not feel that he is preaching; rather, he underpins the concept of his life formulas with research and studies in psychology and neuroscience.
The language is simple, the writing style is appropriate, and the five tips suggested by the author are effective; however, experiences with them may vary from person to person.
I would recommend this book to anyone looking for an effective self-improvement book.
I can appreciate the concept and topic of this book about trying to be your authentic self and to stop putting on different façades which will lead to happiness and success in your life, career and relationships. BUT, I couldn’t tell you a single takeaway from this book. His writing style felt very scientific using a lot of big words, definitions and analogies that all felt very repetitive. It felt like a fancy essay that was short of the word count, which leads to a lot of saying the same things in a different way. And because of that, my mind could never stay focused. I’m sure there are people out there that enjoy this style of writing, but it’s not for me.
