The spring festival is a time when all should be having fun, celebrating the end of the cold and dark winter. Why, then, is Ryder, a shifter and paramedic, feeling so alone? As he's looking for a way to soothe his restless wolf, Ryder's worst nightmare comes to life at the edge of a roaring glacial river.

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of fae/shifter stories, HOWEVER, I came across the authors tik tok page and became quite interested in finding out more about her work. Ms. Mattingly did a great job with this short story, and I was quite captivated from the start. It was fast paced, and the back story on the characters relationships were explained in such a way that you were able to relate immediately.

I am looking forward to reading her full length release of Ryder's story.

Can’t Wait For More!

This introduction to Ryder makes me want to know more about him! There’s no spice in this story, although Ryder makes his interests clear.

Great intro to this universe — I can tell it’ll be full of magic and romance and intrigue!

Super Short

Story just felt incomplete at the end, which I'm assuming is so you read the next book. So off I go😅
