I ❤️ this dedication 😍
DEDICATION: To all the spice-loving, smut book-clutching, bada$$ ladies who fall for the morally gray, tail-whipping, d*ck-growing guy with a side of monster. Even if he’s the Devil himself. If they come for our spicy books, it’ll be over their d3ad bodies!

📣 Attention readers: Go ahead and skip this if you are not a fan of some spice and kink in your books....
If you enjoy all that and more: THIS is your book 😏

Astraea Eternity is an angel on a mission to bring Lucifer Morningstar (The Devil) to the Tribunal, to pay for his crimes. The only thing is: she isn't allowed out of the Celestial City OR into Hell on Earth to do this.

This book was fast paced and action packed! I ended up reading it all in a day! 😄 (Sorry family, I still love you, but you got put on the backburner today 😅😘)

I love the s3xual tension we have going on with Astraea and..... well everyone 🥵 (looking at you Countess ☻️🧛‍♀️)

I can't wait for the next book to see everything/everyone come together. I am mentally putting together sassy Astraea's harem. 😉😈

“Is there anyone in Hell on Earth you haven’t f*cked?”   He grins. “You.”
I. CAN'T. WAIT!

Thanks to the author Emily Shore; for an ARC- for an honest review. I loved the book and I'm impatiently waiting for the Trials! 🖤

Note to all my people only looking for spice:🌶🌶🌶 Slow burn 🔥
Sexy times were had but no eggplants/bananas were buried deep, in this first book- if ya know what I mean 😉🍆🍌

I’m going to try to do this without spoilers mostly because I hate it when people ruin a book- even accidentally for me.

I want to start out by saying Emily could write directions on frozen lasagna and I would read it. I love morally gray characters, I enjoy reading characters with a deep backstory, I look for characters who I can relate to on some level, and a world that will suck me in. Those are the things that she does best.

Am angel falls in love with the devil… girl falls for the ultimate bad boy… you’ve read it all before right? FALSE! The Angel is a badass and Lucifer well who doesn’t love tall dark and handsome? The characters in the story all of them even the ones who have a small part contribute to the story in a way that it wouldn’t be the same without them. Both main characters are flawed in their own perfect ways that both makes them lovable and will also make you angry. There’s action, spice, and just enough twists to keep you on your feet! I cannot wait for the next one!

I received an ARC copy of this book in an exchange for an honest review. I want to thank Emily for the opportunity to do so!

Note: I am an avid reader and this is my typical genre of book.

Positives: the idea of this book was great, cover art is incredible, and the level of spice is fantastic. I love a book that has a sex positive feisty Heroine matched with an Alpha male over-sexed personality. I enjoy the Enemies to Lovers aspect, and how flirty Lucifer is. His dirty talk is verrry 🌶️.

Negatives: I feel like it is a bit wordy, to the point where I forget I am reading a conversation between two characters in between each of their responses to each other, because of the amount of descriptive words crammed into each sentence describing the scene/body language in between each of their verbal responses. I prefer for conversations to flow as if I am reading (or hearing, rather) a real conversation happening in front of me. Otherwise I read it as if they each take a long awkward pause after each sentence. I also found myself confused at times, feeling like other aspects of the scene & world building were not described enough to get a clear image of the scene in my head, while some things were over detailed to the point I lost track of what was going on. I was confused on whether Cain and Cam were the same person and why they had 2 names, and it took me a while to register that Astrea’s nic-name was actually her and not another person being spoken about in 3rd person.

Conclusion: I am not sure if I will read book 2 as I felt this one was not for me. I am sure there are many that love it as it has fantastic reviews from others, so I hope my review is not discouraging if seen by the author! These are only my honest personal thoughts and I am still very grateful to have been able to read & review this book. ❤️

DNFed at 59%.

Thank you to smuthood and the author for send me a copy in exchange for an honest review.

The premise of this one sounded amazing! Right up my alley! And the spice I got to see before deciding I didn’t want to continue was great. The story itself felt wonky to me. I found myself having to stop and reread parts multiple times. The characters were good. But the world building and storyline just wasn’t for me. I can’t tell you why I just wasn’t feeling it.

I really wanted to love this one, and I’m glad so many have. Due to DNFing I won’t rate it. I’ve never felt it’s okay to rate something I don’t finish when I don’t see the full scope of the story. Now if I had finished and still felt the same then I could give it an honest rating. I’ve just found life’s to short and there are to many stories I want to read to force myself to finish something I’m not loving.

If you are looking for a foul-mouthed and dirty-minded anti-hero, this book is for you! It is a true enemies-to-lovers story; an angel pitted against the Devil.

Astraea, a failed angel, has infiltrated Hell on Earth, intending to trap and bring Lucifer before the heavenly tribunal to stand trial for his crimes. Instead, she catches his attention and is trapped in Hell to do his bidding. He wants her broken and begging for his c0ck, amongst other things… The hate between the two is palpable, but they are controlled by their base instincts and soon find themselves addicted to each other, further fueling the ire. Astraea’s pheromones and blood are like drugs, and Lucifer can send her into a lust-filled puddle with a thunderous purr.

Great inner monologue for both characters. Lucifer is unapologetic and exactly how I would expect the Devil to act and sound. Astraea is a mixture of snarky and resolute, with the sense of being a little bit broken, though we never get the full story of her past trauma.

The spice level is quite high! Expect lots of dirty talk and thoughts from Lucifer and more than a few steamy interactions. It is far from vanilla.

I cannot wait to see how Book 2 closes out their story and how the two will ever go from wanting to kill/destroy one another to a HEA.

I loved this book!!! It was spicy, kinky, there were morally gray characters, an anti-hero, enemies to lovers, a forbidden romance with touch her and you die vibes. This book was fast paced, action-packed, and the badass angel falls for the tall, dark, and handsome Lucifer. The characters are flawed and relatable which is what makes you attach to the characters.

"But only you decide what parts of you will be burned. You were both forged in blood and darkness, and through darkness and blood, will you unite."

After the Angel, Astraea, tries to capture and bring Lucifer from “Hell on Earth” (a massive Vegas like tourist trap) to the face the tribunal, she finds herself bound to him. Forced to stay on Hell on Earth and be Lucifer’s spy in order solve a string of murders, Astraea is determined to find a way out of Hell on Earth. Including entering as contestant in Lucifer’s “Bride Trials”.

I was given this ARC from the author, Emily Shore, in exchange for my honest review. Thank you, Emily Shore, for the opportunity!

The “Bride of Lucifer” is a two-book set with sequels to follow. This book is “Book 1: Hell on Earth” which was suppose to introduce the plot, characters, and the world building. The concept of this book is unique and I liked the idea of where it was going. However, as someone who reads a fair amount of Fantasy books, the world building was just not there for me. This book had so much potential to be the start of a great series. The author is extremely talented when it comes to her use of imagery. However, as a reader I felt that it was all used to describe the way Astraea and Lucifer look. I could tell you all about how they look and how they reacted to each other during spicy scenes, but I couldn’t even begin to tell you what Lucifer’s nine rings of Hell on Earth look like or how they operate. If more effort would’ve gone towards the world building instead of Lucifer chasing Astraea and her getting her feathers in a flustered twist, it would’ve been easier to get an idea of the world that the story is taking place in. Would I recommend this book? If you’re reading it for the smut, yes. The spicy scenes are great. If you’re wanting to fall in love with a new Fantasy world, I don’t know yet. I’m hoping there’s more world building in “Book 2: The Bride Trials”. “Bride of Lucifer” can be found on Kindle Vella and Kindle Unlimited. I rounded up and rated this book 3 ⭐️’s.

WOW! That was one hell of a way to start a story!

I am blown away by the imagery and world building that is packed into this story, instantly bringing it to life right before my eyes. I was sucked right in and consumed every chapter as quickly as I could. The story is filled with suspense, action, drama, twists and turns, and some deliciously sexy moments, making it difficult to put down once I started.

Astraea is sassy, bratty, witty and sexy. You can’t help but fall in love with her! She kept me laughing throughout with her antics and comebacks. She’s a badass warrior angel that is set on taking down Lucifer. But Lucifer is set on making this sassy angel warrior his in every way! I loved their back and forth banter, the love/hate drama they have going on and the deliciously titillating moments between them. I can’t wait to see what happens between them next.

I loved this story. The writing was amazing, the characters were hilarious, and the storyline was deliciously entertaining from start to finish. I can’t wait to see how it all turns out in the end.

Oh my goodness, what a beginning to a story. Emily does and amazing job of writing a world that you can see, feel, and picture as you dive into her story. The story is an 'Enemies to Lovers' who don't want to admit how they truly feel. The story has many twists and turns and it keeps you on the edge of your seat. Emily brings in back stories and so many details you can't help but feel for the characters. I know so many of the stories/history of Heaven and Hell and she does an amazing job of bringing a story to those characters. I loved Sammy. What a wonderful best friend for an Angel to have. Astraea is a BA FMC and I love how she goes toe to toe with the Devil and won't back down. I can't wait to see what awaits her in the Bride Trials in book 2. Will Angel and Devil finally come to terms with their desire?

This is an angel/devil book and holy hell was it good. Not only do we get an intense chemistry between our angel and devil and some sexy scenes BUT we also have a really good plot. Astraea went down to hell on earth to get revenge about something that happened to a friend of hers(they don't really go into details yet). But the devil asks her for help to solve a couple of murders that's happening down there. So there's always something going on. The book does end in a cliffhanger. The plot was written so well its gonna have u begging for more.

Our angel Astraea was such a badass. I loved her character so much. And yes I'm rooting for her to end up the devil. They are so perfect for each literally a match made in heaven hehehe

Could not put it down! Who doesn’t want a morally grey 🔥bad boy? Enemies to Lovers. 😇😈. Fast paced spectacular novel. Without giving away spoilers this novel by Emily Shore is a must read! All of the characters in the story are very well written and each have a special part to play. The story was well thought through adding just enough spice in all of the best places. This was the perfect start to the series!

Can’t wait for the next book in just a few days!

So I had the honor of reading this as an arc, and I just wanna say that 5 stars are not nearly enough!

The spice hit just right, the plot was just as spectacular, and the chemistry was **chefs kiss** between all the characters.

This was a very well thought out and written book and I absolutely can’t wait to read Book 2, because I’m definitely craving more!

If you love urban fantasy with dystopian vibes and spice

God this is the book for you!

Did I mention that there’s angels and demons? Oh and the big man himself Lucifer ?

Check your warnings please because I want everyone to have as fun of an experience reading this as I did!

Here is one of my favorite quotes to give y’all a little taste.

“I’ll never allow a being to live if they shed so much as a drop of blood from you. Even if your hand was the cause. Your blood is f@$&ing mine Astraea. Your body is mine. Never forget that.”

Holy smokes! Can someone get me a bucket of ice water, because Bride of Lucifer was hot enough to start a fire!

The chemistry in this book was off the charts and the steam, YALL THE STEAM! I will be the first to admit that I’m normally not the type of person that’ll find a book with zero eggplant in taco hotter than Hell. However… Bride of Lucifer might be the exception to that general ruling. I mean y’all, those fucking tail scenes! Phew! They were absolutely panty melting. *fans self*

I cannot wait to get my greedy hands on the next book!

I love enemy to lovers and this is a maddening Enemies to Lovers with no Breaks. Buckle up buttercup because Chains and Whips excite everyone in this one.

Everyone wants to play with the Devil

I wasn't 100% sure what to expect with this book. Let me just tell you, it was everything I didn't know I wanted to read!! It is adventurous, Sexy, Fun and entertaining.

The energy from the characters and the story line kept me interested the entire read. The Smut was fantastic! I am newer to reading the fantasy erotic stories, with the Devil, Fae, Vladimira and more. This book does not disappoint. I highly recommend reading this book right now and will be starting book 2 ASAP

Holly hell was that an amazing ride of a book! I could NOT put it down and I didn't.

I should not be in love with Lucifer and yet here I am impatiently pulling my hair out so see what happens next.

Highly recommend to everyone! That being said if spice is not your cup of tea you may want to move on. But you will be sadly missing out.....this isn't spice just for the sake of it, it is woven into the story so beautifully it wouldn't be as good without it.

I'd give it 10xstars if I could!

tough to get through

I couldn’t get through it. This was almost a DNf for me. There’s too many names for the characters. Too many other people involved. Too much sex with other people and not each other which is strange since it’s supposed to be their story. It’s super slow and mentions the bride issue in one chapter for a line. That’s it. The rest is all them hunting each other or other demons and making her his bitch but he’s not even good at doing that. She isn’t submissive enough to be a bitch. The sex scenes are not for me simply because it’s more about pain and blood than sex. I think the author had a good idea with the book but lost track of what they were doing. Skipped a lot of their “foreplay” because it was so uncomfortable and I felt the second hand embarrassment. A lot of the wording in here and names for their bodies or powers were kinda confusing too but whatever. I was more annoyed that I thought this would be a Persephone and Hades type situation but it’s more like a hades meets female hades and it doesn’t work.

I absolutely love Lucifer and Astraea! You get a duel POV and Enemies Trope with a great Cliffhanger. The banter between the two is absolutely perfect and hilarious. Lucifer is a dream and my favorite morally grey character, While Astraea gives that spunky fiesta bad ass we all love on a women main character. The plot is fairly good and kept me entertained. With all that being said, the reason I’m only giving it a 3 star is because despite all the pros, the writing falls short. The plot is decent but doesn’t hit the mark, and the world building is confusing at times and fails to deliver a clear picture. The author has potential and I think has the ability to make the next book far better but will have to wait and see.

Honestly I wanted to love this so much more. It was such a slow start that was just loaded with information in an unnecessary way. I almost stopped at multiple points, but hate DNFing books. I feel like if the author wrote the story without trying to cram all the unnecessary details into each paragraph, I would’ve enjoyed it way more. Plus, the need to make every single thing the MC encountered a hell this or Diablo that got really old. We get it, she’s in hell, and the things there aren’t the same.

Still going to read the second one though, because this ended on a killer cliff hanger, and after getting through the deathly slow build up, the end was getting better. Hopefully that energy follows through in the second book.

The story was good but the writing was not for me. Everything don't need a description. Everytime the characters smiled it was described... The conversations didn't flow because it was disrupted with describing facial expressions. Don't think i will be reading book 2

DNF. I wanted to like this so bad. I was here for the plot. It's just poorly written. The dialog is cheesey and phrases are way overused. The smut scenes didn't do it for me either. So much potential, just poorly executed.

Before we even begin I should say that this book is a bit smutty. And by a bit I mean a lot. If that’s not for you then neither is this book. Having said that if you’re okay with things getting dirty you might have another issue. See the book is half action adventure as our angelic lead tries to kill Satan and the other half is our angelic lead sleeping her way to the bed chamber of Satan so she can kill him later. The thing is they keep bumping up against each other. Now you might think that this is a case of not enough blood to power the writing muscle and certain other muscles but to be honest the book keeps tripping over itself and bumping against it’s own plot lines even without the sex. The book struggled with the age old issue of not only having too much but not enough. Take the opening act here as Astraea has to lie, bluff, cheat, fight, and sleep her way into hell on Earth. The thing is this amounts to little more than getting a pass from an old friend who she meets at a bar who then provides her with ring side seats for Satan’s grand entrance. This could have been an epic adventure all by itself but instead its skimmed to get to the literal devil dick and once we’ve set that pace we can’t seem to slow down again. Devil is looking for a bride, there’s some rogue killer on the lose, and the rival fantasy races are vying for control in enough plots to power a series.

There’s a cast around our lead but we don’t get to see them because we’re trying to squeeze so much in. And when we’re not squashing in plot after plot we’re struggling with the ability to write sharp enough to serve the humour we’re going for. Just like the plots it feels like it needed someone to go in and trim back with a machete. The same goes for the puns that feel less like a good natured sport and more like someone gave Emily a to do list that needed to be all ticked off before they’d release her book. And that’s without getting on to the repeating one liners. Emily uses the line Alpha holes so often that I thought this was an official title for Lucifer’s elite body guards.

All of this feels rather down on the book and I don’t want to be. This feels less like when you tear a book to pieces and more like when you try to help your friend improve their game. Each of the characters sparkle and thankfully this more than extends to our two leads. Writing the devil is never easy because you can go too dark and nobody wants to follow him along but go too light and nobody buys that this is the prince of darkness. They balance this well with the tricky issue of consent in such books. Don’t include it and people cry foul for your portrayal of the culture. But let’s face it including it can be a bit like having the post coital cuddle in your porn. Here they work it well by having the Devil be after more than another simpering sex slave. Sure he could just break her down to nothing but he wants something left afterwards.

Astraea struggles a bit more under the weight of her ominous back story and colourful past that we’re keen to get out to balance her standing opposite the King of hell. That’s not to say that she doesn’t sparkle but she lacks breathing room which is somewhat poetic considering she’s gone from soaring free to leashed to the king of hell.
