We read this together as a PCC and it was fascinating to see how John Chapman’s annecdotes rang true with different people, and the use of scripture to help think through our struggles with sin and desire to grow in holiness. It’s not a long or a difficult read, and one that’s worth having on your shelves to read again and again

This is simple & clear - Bible teaching at it's best. Chapman's style is conversational, considerate and still direct. There are gems here for both the new and mature Christian - and I would recommend it as something to read often.
