Riot Fiora never expected to have a mate. He never expected to have anything after angering Queen Savannah over a hundred years before. She'd raised him and loved him as her own after his mother died at the hands of Winnow Masters.

And then he'd disappointed her.

She couldn't bear to look at him after, so he left.

Now, he's back to find someone for the demigods and working with the one person he never expected to see again. The only person who ever understood him. They'd had one night, long ago, and fate ripped them apart.

Suddenly they are tied together in the final showdown with Winnow, and both have a reason for vengeance.

Riot will do anything save the one person who knows him inside and out. Even if it means dying.

Can they save the Prides and each other? Or will fate rip them apart forever?

More Things to Unravel

This series just keeps giving up more and more things to unravel within this story universe. I have to go back and reread a few of the past books to see if I missed important information before another book is released. I can't wait for more.

I received an ARC and this is my unbiased opinion

Riot is the 5th book in the Fire Ridge Pride series by author Jae Greyn. This is part of a series and should be read in order or you will be lost. There are trigger warnings in this book I suggest you read them first before reading the story. This story is told in dual POV and it works beautifully for this story.

I have read some of this series. But I think I missed a critical book cause I was a tad lost, but I quickly got back on track. The men in this story are dynamic and strong in their own right.

Judge is coming back from a horrible experience. He is not in the mood to find a mate. He is more in the mood to lick his wounds and then smash in some faces. But he is a good soul who needs a mate more than he thinks.

Riot. He is a lot like his name. He has a lot of self-doubt and shame to overcome. He is strong, stronger than even he thinks.

Overall, this is a great read. It moves the overall story arc forward and deeper into the world this series is building. I loved the action, adventure, and love in this story and will be looking for more from this series in the future.

This series is a wild ride and I hope we get more from this world

I admit that I hadn’t enjoyed the previous book in the series as much as the others so I was really looking forward to this one. Judge and Riot were exactly what I was hoping for. As with the other books there is a lot going on pride politics wise and you’re not always 100% sure what it will mean for the plot. Riot and Judge were very cute together and the ending was so sweet - I’m glad Judge and Riot found the home they needed in each other and with their family. I’m glad we got a bit more information about Sawyer though I do think perhaps it would have been better to have had it explained in more detail in Remi’s book. There was a conclusion to what was a plot over at least the last three books (with background machinations for all five) but I’m hoping that we might get some more books from this world perhaps in happier less stressful times.

Great series. Judge, disappointed Queen Savannah, so he left in disgrace. He is punishment branded and ashamed of his scars, which are permanent. He had one night with Riot and then they lost touch. Judge is easily triggered by touch to remember his torture. Lots going on in this story. Lots of complications and strategies needed. Lots of information provided answering questions. Can Riot and Judge find their way to each other? I find it best to reread each story after reading the current one. Good flow. Fun characters. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The characters in this series have all been wonderful and well developed and that is no difference here, but what has really fascinated me throughout is the incredibly detailed world building and the politics, plots and schemes unfolding through all the books. The author has not put a foot wrong that I've found with the details previously established and each book adds more intriguing information about the world and how it works.

This is the story of Riot and Judge, it is the 5th book in the Fire Ridge Pride series. Please read the trigger warnings. I love this world and I love the journeys. The characters are beautiful. The stories well thought out and written wonderfully. These are the kind of books that you can read again and again and you will find something new every time. Definitely recommended.

I received this book as an Arc and I am happily reviewing it voluntarily.

Wow. Just wow. Judge was funny! It really helped getting his take on things. I loved Lou's reaction to Pearl, and how Judge explained things with Lou's family dynamics. Riot is a big softy and his relationship with Judge is just so sweet. There is so much in this story, great descriptions. So many explanations! I really hope there's another book. I love these guys!

This book was still very interesting and very confusing in equal measure but things in this book were a bit clearer than others I enjoyed the characters story a lot and the little insight into the magic was interesting as well

Somebody shook up his snowglobe, cracked the glass, and let all the water out

Fire Ridge Pride book 5. What a world Jae has created and developed with each installment in the series. Each time a new book comes out I have to reread some of the prior books. I've read each one at least twice and some 3 times. With each reading more information comes to light and the characters become more familiar and seem to have more depth. My reading comprehension isn't what it used to be, luckily the books are quick reads and I love them all. It's funny the things you miss that you pickup when rereading.

What's next??? I can't wait to see what's in store for this group of guys. I can't wait to reread Riot's and Judge's story to find more things I missed, after the next book is released.

Thanks again for creating such a great enticing storyline!!!
