Desiree Allen is a serial blind dater looking for her match. When set up by friends, she waits at the town’s fall festival for her mystery man. When none other than her broody, albeit hot AF, neighbor, Axel Connors, shows up, Des makes it her mission to put a smile on the grump’s face.
This supposedly plot-less novella had just enough storyline and character development to override any guilt since it had more steam than a just-poured Pumpkin Spice Latte.
This kïnky quickie was my first by Jack Whitney and I’m so glad I gave it a go. Our characters, Des and Axel, balanced each other perfectly. Likewise, the backdrop set the tone for the fall season. All in all, Anyone & You was just right.

You need a good spicy novella this one is it with like maybe 10% plot lol.
Des likes to go on blind dates it's more fun then regular dates, this time she's being set up by friends andnits a fun time at the carnival. When her date shows up she's shocked it's her neighbor across from her Axel they have had moments of snark and just that. But nothing else so Shea determined to make him enjoy the date. As for Axel he didn't wanna do this he has some strong feelings for Des but he can't act on that but these 2 are going to enjoy the carnival. And let me tell you Axel is a guy I would want. He defends her against rigged games, gives her a O on a ride, and they enjoy eachothers company he also plays with some toys 🥵. It does have a 2.5 second drama but it's taken care of right away.
My only problem is well I hated that Axel tells her he hears her with others before the date. 🤮
Don't need to know that.
No ow/om drama, no cheating, sexy times, no virgins (she dated and slept around)

Sometimes you just need a blind date coupled with an autumn festival with a Ferris wheel, a teacup ride, and your hot-as-hell neighbour! 🔥
Axel and Des definitely took us for a spicy ride (see the innuendo!) and I really fucking enjoyed this. Delicious spice with the rose toy, public shenanigans in a teacup and a slight insta love. I would definitely loved to see maybe a chapter or two more of getting to know them, and a longer epilogue, but still, this was a spectacular autumnal novella! I also might have found small parts of the dirty talk to be tad over the top, but that's just me and other parts were spectacular.

This was a spicy hot novella. Drs lives across the hall from Axel a brooding grumpy man who is gorgeous but doesn’t seem to say much to her. She jokes with him and is her self but he never really does much but grunt at her.
She is set up by friends on a blind date and who else would it be but they handsome gruff neighbor of hers. He is hesitant at first but she gets him to stick around and enjoy the carnival. She breaks his walls down and we see all the tension come to the surface. Oh boy is it hot and steamy between them. The buildup starts at the carnival to only continue through the night. If you are looking for a hot steamy short story definitely check this out! I love Axel and Des’s story!

Oh my goodness Jack has me absolutely enamored with her writing at this point. Instantly opening this book is like burning a fall candle and sitting in the corner of a room with a blanket and hot apple cider looking out at the leaves changing colors. Fall is my favorite season so I knew this book was for me as soon as she announced it! Des and Axel are the cutest ever and the tension between them is oh so spicy and lovely. The blind date with all the fun fall activities was beautiful, it really helped set the mood between them and made the story all the better. The grumpy/sunshine, the sarcasm, the tension and the delivery, the cute moments, this novella is such a great read!

If you need to mentally fast-forward to fall, this is he novella for you! It was so atmospheric (I need all the spiced cider and pumpkin things immediately) and damn it was sexy. Somebody find me a man in flannel to do dirty things to me pls.

If you’re looking for a spicy autumn novella the season. You must read this! This was such a fun and spicy read! This was short, spicy and to the point. I love all things autumn and pumpkin spice and carnivals so it was just the right setting for me to enjoy. Even though it was short I did feel like it had enough build up to have a plot, unlike most erotic novellas. I really loved how bold the FMC is and how grumpy Axel is. I'll never look at the teacup ride the same 😂

Jack Whitney writes some of my favorite spicy novellas. Anyone and You tells the story of a girl who is set up on a blind date with her grumpy neighbor. Their date takes place at a fall festival and is full of so much spice and seasonal fun. It was the perfect palate cleanser and I highly recommend it!

Cute, spicy, grumpy sunshine love story between Axel and Des. After a year of being neighbors and being set up on a blind date by their friends both Axel and Des realize what they’ve been missing for over a year and spend a hot as fuck night together. After a little groveling of course. Ugh I loved it so much. I’m a sucker for a man who grovels and only smiles for his girl. And that teacup scene…..whew I’ll never look at that the same again

Holy smackamoly! How the heck does this get better?! I thought Sweet Girl was phenomenal, this takes the cake! (Omg I can't even imagine what Jack's other books are going to do to me, if the two I've already read have blown me away!!) I can't even fathom 🤯😍 This book held my attention from the get go. The way Jack described Autumn/Fall and the carnival was just magical to me (in Australia we don't really have autumn like other countries) and I just wanted to jump right in this book so I could experience it for myself!
Des and Axel are so hot. Their chemistry and tension was just phenomenal and oh so good! It's making me want to have some fun at a carnival 😏🥵😂
I really enjoyed the dual pov, so much! It was just so nice to experience the thought process from Axel's perspective and I enjoyed it way more than I have with other books. Whether that's due to Jack's writing or simply Axel I have no clue but I loved it.
Um ooaf, is it hot here?! 🥵🔥 *they should really have an emoji for fanning yourself* 🤣 The spice delivered!! Oh that man can talk 😏 and I have read quite my fair share of smuty books but, some of those scenes were just beyond steamy. I think it was just so good and hot because of Des and Axel. That's not the case with Des and Axel. Des makes it known what she wants and what she's not willing to do. Axel is grumpy, but he doesn't take it out on Des in a mean way. He's been hurt before, which makes him reserved, but with Des he opens up. I simply melted when he told her he always sees her 🥺
The spice was good. I love men who aren't afraid of toys 😍 Des and Axel have great chemistry. They compliment each other well. The sunrise scene was HOT 🥵 If you're looking for a smutty palate cleanser in-between novels, this is for you!
