When you read the blurb you know that your attention will be focused on what's happening between the pages of this book.
Ms Babylon has a way of hooking you from the first few pages and before you know it, the days gone and you're still not wanting to put down the book.
This is Micah Shine's story, now he's a bit of a mystery and I'm sorry to say that we don't really get to know much more about him other than what he likes in bed (swoon/fan's face) and our main female lead is Kylie Miller, who works the Casinos with her friends... she's tough, smart and used to being able to con the gullible high rollers out of their hands.
Her father was murdered when she was a child and then her mother disappeared with her sister when she was just 16, she's had to be tough, and having to pay the mob a healthy cut of any profits. She's barely scraping by.
When she meets Micah Shine, who seemed as if he might be that mythical beast, an honest man. She dared think she'd hit some good luck, but wake's up to a whole heap of trouble.
Micah has an ulterior motive in gaining Kylie's attention, but he finds out he's more interested in her than he should be.... Who's conning who?
The book hints at both their pasts, but we only glimpse clues to what is really going on. Unfortunately we have to wait for the next book to find out.
I enjoyed getting to know these two new characters, and of course there's some hot scenes in it too. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long to find out how they're going to get out of the pickle they're in.

This book had my complete attention from page one to the end!
In this installment of the Scholarship Mafia series we get the start of Micah Shines story and what a start it was! Micah, a seriously mysterious member of the scholarship mafia continues with his mysterious ways when he is contacted to repay his start-up debt. He goes to Atlantic City and teams up with Kylie for for a con but he gets more than he bargained for.
Kylie Miller, a grifter who is working to find her family and make a better life for herself, encounters Micah. On their first encounter he cons her out of 80 grand but she finds herself then partnering with him for another con.
This book had me hooked from the start as there are a lot of twists in the story - a story that unfortunately ends in a cliff hanger. We need to wait for the next book to see where this story goes but I think it is safe to assume that both these con artists are going to get more than they were expecting since the chemistry between them is off the charts. Overall, this was a great book and I have yet to be disappointed in anything that Ms. Babylon writes so I would recommend this book to others - as long as you don't mind the cliff hangers!

How well can these two con artists work? I mean he did con her out of money that was needed. For Kylie, the cons are a necessity, for Micah?
The chemistry between these two is off the charts and I suppose it's a good thing Arthur is there. I love that past characters show up in this author's books! A big plus for me. And the drama was off the charts.
We will have to wait though for this story to play out in the next book can't wait!

WOW! This is a “seat of your pants” wild ride. Throughout this story, I put the book aside several times, shaking my head, wondering “what the …” Con is the name of the game and both Kylie and Micah have mastery, but Micah excels at the game. There are cameo appearances including Priyanka Mehtani, who has attitude as one of Kylie’s friends.
“Priyanka handed the blond Italian’s phone back to him and looked at Kylie with huge, disapproving eyes.”
Loved this newest addition to the Le Rosey team, my only caveat is this ends with a cliffhanger, so now we wait…lol. Grab this one, excellent addition to your Blair collection.

Wow! Such a great book. It's not quite what it seems, a con trying to con an even bigger con and that's when the adventure really begins. Fantastic book! Looking forward to the rest of Micah and Kylie's story.

Ms Babylon continues her Scholarship Mafia series with Micah Shine’s story. Micah and his friends attended Le Rosey, a Swiss boarding school, on scholarships. They became close while defending themselves from the insults and slights of the wealthy students. After signing promissory notes for start up cash, they went on to become billionaires. Their “malefactor’s “ favorite quote comes to fruition in this series-Behind every great fortune lies a great crime! The characters are fascinating. The dialogue fast and entertaining and the romance is steamy! Great reading!

I received an ARC from the author. She’s back to her cliffhanger-ending torture; I think she secretly adores tormenting—perhaps the better word is ‘edging’—her readers. Typical of all male graduates of Le Rosey, Micah has his share of kink, but what baffles me is how so many alpha males managed to be around one another without serious bloodshed. But I digress.
In this book, Micah targets Kylie Miller (not her real name), a professional grifter working in Atlantic City to bilk men of their money. She’s generally quite successful. Until she meets Micah. He takes a wrecking ball to her life, and it would seem he’s offering her something better. Unfortunately, Kylie doesn’t really trust him—with good reason. Because the story is told from alternating POVs, you won’t find yourself yelling at her to ‘run!’ We know he won’t do her wrong (I don’t think), but he’ll keep her guessing until the bitter end.
The cliffhanger ending isn’t too bad. Yes, there are a lot of loose ends. And yes, an action scene is interrupted. However, Kylie and Micah are relatively safe for a little while (minutes, hours, days—who knows?). It’s certainly nothing like Flicka and Deiter’s cliffhangers, but it still leaves me anxious for the next installment.

Micha Shine is one smooth operator – so smooth in fact, that Kylie Miller, a seasoned, but small-time con artist didn’t realize he’d outplayed her until it was too late and…
I enjoyed the push and pull between Kylie and Micah – blindsided by an intense attraction, with each not quite trusting the other, and yet, also curious about the other's endgame. I liked Kylie’s strength of character and how, despite her own financial struggles, she looked out for the well-being of her friends and the homeless along Atlantic City’s Boardwalk. I’ll admit I hadn’t expected the story to play out as it did at the end, and now, I’m left wondering just what exactly the big picture entails. Great job Blair, at keeping me guessing!

Micah comes across as a stone cold con-man, sort of, but he's hot as hell and is seriously bothered by Kylie, she seems to have wormed under his skin.🔥💘 He's obviously more than he seems, just because of a certain English Nobleman who pops up!😏 Kylie is strong minded but has serious abandonment issues.😢 She doesn't want to be burned by Micah but is fighting a fierce attraction and the possibility of some financial stability.🙏
I loved the chemistry between them both!🔥💘🔥 The continued world building was really good, as you'd expect. But the suspense, the cons being run, and the scorching bedroom scenes, were what really kept your pulse raised.
This was an absolutely gripping read, it's chock full of twists and double crosses - or is it?😉 Unmissable and steamy, I'm very excited for book #2!🌟

This is the 10th book in the Secret Billionaires Series featuring Micah and Kylie's sexy,fun,action-packed and intriguing story. This story pulls you in from the very beginning completely capturing your attention so that you don't realize how fast you're turning the pages to see what's going to happen next and you're at the end. Micah considers himself one of the "scholarship mafia" who along with a few other guys weren't from wealthy European families they were American and attended Le Rosey on scholarship hence the name him and his friends came up with. Now that they're alumni and they're making their way in the businesses they started they each start receiving mysterious packets that start with for every great fortune there is a great crime. Each of the guys had help when they were starting their businesses from their benefactor that they affectionately call their "malefactor". With his business up and running Micah's loan is now due. Kylie is a con artist who along with her girls in Atlantic City is just trying to survive they consider themselves "Robin Hood's" only conning the high rollers who come to town. Kylie has been at this "game" for years in order to get by and she has a handle on it until she encounters Micah. Micah and Kylie are HOT from the start and they're both attracted to each other and yet they're both keeping secrets from each other and playing the game. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this exciting story to see what happens although it ends on a cliffhanger so we need to wait for the next book to see how things will play out. I would definitely recommend reading this book as Ms. Babylon truly has a way of crafting a tale that makes you feel like you're a part of it. I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion of this book.

This book begins with Micah Shine receiving his letter just like Twist in book 8 of Secret Billionaires. What Micah has to do is not quite revealed. Kylie and her friends are running cons, in Kylie's case on cheaters. When Micah approaches Kylie watches as he takes a wedding ring off of his finger, in her eyes, he is now fair game, but Micah has a con of his own and pulls Kylie into a con against the mafia. Both Kylie and Micah have secrets of their own. Secrets that they do not reveal to each other, some are slowly revealed as the book goes on, but some secrets are much bigger than others.
WOW, Micah's and Kylies story will take you on one hell of a journey of very unexpected proportions. Hang onto your seat as the twists come thick and fast, especially near the end as those will give you whiplash!
It was really good to see the appearance of faces old, what their full involvement in Micah's story is not quite clear. I imagine more will be revealed as the story progresses. I was and am not sure of Kylie and Micah as a couple so far. I found the many twists the book brought prevented me from feeling a deep or emotional connection between this couple. However, I am looking forward to the next book changing my opinion. I also did not feel as invested in Kylie as a character as I have been with the female leads in previous books, again, this could be down to the many twists and secrets being hidden from Micah by Kylie. Will Kylie find her mother and sister? What part do they play with Salvatore Grande? Just who is Micah Shine? Has Micah realised Logans deception?
One thing I do know, no one weaves a tale as convoluted as Blair Babylon does, I know for sure, with a book by Blair Babylon, always expect the very unexpected!

I have been on the Blair Babylon book train for a long time. No one writes a book series better than Blair. She started with her Billionaires in Disguise series, then there are the series that are contained within that world. The Working Stiff series, the Rock Star in Disguise series and the Bodyguard romance series. Now onto the Scholarship Mafia series, which all tie in together but can all be read alone (you’ll want to start reading these series while waiting for the next book, trust me lol). Micah Shine runs a legitimate, profitable business, that makes him a lot of money. To start this business he needed a loan and now the loan has been called in. Micha and his friends are all in the same boat and each are being asked to do things they would never do otherwise. He’s running a long con and needs a con artist to help him. Meet Kylie Miller who, with her team of girl friends, run cons on rich men in Atlantic City, to get money to survive. Micha needs her connection to the mafia boss and she needs the money Micha promises to get away from the boss. They need to trust each other in order to survive, but it’s hard to trust a con artist, when secrets are just waiting to bring you down. The chemistry between Micha and Kylie are explosive and they can’t keep their hands off each other! This is an edge of your seat wild ride that you won’t be able to put down! There is a cliffhanger but you won’t have to wait long for the next book. While you are waiting seriously start the Billionaires in Disguise books. You can thank me later lol

What a twisty-turn of events, I did not want to put down Micah's story. Micah Shine, next up in the Scholarship mafia boys to get a mysterious letter & beginning working with Dr Bell did not disappoint. Set in the glamorous hotels of Atlantic City and the seedy underbelly of the mafia looming throughout the story this was go go go, just waiting to get to the next surprise while I read.
Kylie Miller is a con artist trying to survive with her girls on the streets of Atlantic City. And Micah has just Finding his mark, and setting up what looks to be a long con with curvy Kylie Miller. Micah is the guy you want in a foxhole with you, when you're in trouble. But is this con, which he needs Kylie's help going to be too complex to complete. He pulls out all the stops to test Kylie. But these two are definitely keeping secrets from each other. Neither appears to be who they say they are. I can't wait to find out what happens next. HOT and suspenseful!
This story is hot as fire and suspenseful as well. Kylie is a con artist trying to keep herself afloat in Atlantic City. She convinces men to buy her things that she can then pawn for cash to support herself. She doesn’t know what she’s gotten herself into when she sets Micah Shine as her next mark.
There’s an instant attraction between them but Kylie never gets involved with a mark – until Micah that is. Micah has his reasons for letting Kylie try to con him; he needs her help to meet with a mafia head.
I was on the edge of my seat for much of this story, wondering what was going to happen next. In between the suspenseful stuff we get some really hot sexy time between Kylie and Micah. He likes to be in control and she doesn’t mind it if things get a bit rough which is perfect for him.
I’m not sure where all of this is going but I know one thing and that is that I can hardly wait to read the next book in this duet. Conning the Billionaire is the first book in a duet that will conclude with Tempting the Billionaire coming in January 2023.

This book is like all of Blair's books. Intriguing, fun, and informative. I always manage to learn something and I love that! This is Micah and Kylie's book and there are a lot of things happening. So many people's lives are in the balance and the full story hasn't even unfolded yet. At this point there is conning and the con woman being conned, the mob, Arthur is there and others are in the mix, too. I can't imagine how it will unfold. This is book one, we'll see what happens next. I was given the opportunity to read a copy of this book.

Micah and Kylie's story was such a fun read. Each is a con artist, and the other is their "mark". Micah's debt is due, and he has to find a way to repay it. Kylie is a con artist trying to make enough money to escape. They become partners, but each is keeping secrets. Neither trusts the other, but in order to attain their goal, they'll have to become partners. They end up becoming so much more. Their story has lots of the usual Blair twists and turns, including plenty of steamy scenes. This book ends with a a cliffhanger. I cant wait to read more!

Blair does it again. What an exciting read with lots of twists and turns. We now get the story of Micah Shine who enlists the help of small time grifter Kylie Miller. It’s now time for him to pay off his start up loan. We really are not sure how that is to be done till the end and are now left with a cliffhanger. Blair Babylon tells a great story of suspense and romance and I love to read her books.

This story had me intrigued from the beginning! Kylie might have met her match in Micah! Hard to tell who was being conned! So much fun to read!! I just know Micah has way more secrets and I can’t wait until we find them all out!! Seeing a certain English gentleman surprised me, but I should know better…lol. Can’t wait to see what happens next!! No worries, the sparks in this book are pretty epic!! 😉

Is Micah setting her up for a terrible fall? Is she setting home up? Let’s go see…

This book is about two con artists that decide to con each other and accidentally let things get out of control. It will keep you guessing and very unsure of who is the “good guy” as they battle for control. And go on and prepare yourself for a huge cliffhanger! Ms Babylon never disappoints!

I really enjoyed this first chapter of Micah's story. Certainly, he is going to have his hands full, but Ms Babylon never creates a male lead without an appropriate counterpart to keep him on his toes.
I foresee fireworks and drama and fun times ahead. Especially given the way this ended. And I, for one, cant wait.

What a fun read this was. Kylie and Micah are two master con artists. In this story, the conner becomes the conned and the impact is extreme. Plenty of sexy times for these two who have undeniable chemistry. Once I started reading I didn't want to put the book down. Now to wait and see what happens next for these two. They've started the battle - but will they win the war? Time will tell.

I loved this book and could not put it down. I laughed, cried and was on the edge of my seat throughout. This author always makes it feel as if you are really there and this one definitely does not disappoint. Micah and Kylie are fantastic characters and I can tell they are already in for a wild ride. I cannot wait to see where and what will happen next.

Wow, is he thorough! He has scoped out and determined Kylie to be who and what he is looking for. And the sizzle between Kylie and Micah is soooo hot.
