Okay y’all don’t get it. This might be Sienne Vega’s best book. I say it about all her books but it’s true every time. I’m going to try not to leave any spoilers but it’s so hard because how else can I explain how incredible this book is. Salvatore and Delphine have had a tumultuous relationship but it was so clear they loved each other unconditionally. Delphine discovers so many hidden truths but at every point, Salvatore is there for her. I loved this book so much. Restarting the series and reading all of them again. I cannot wait for the next book.

Man I love this book.
This whole series has got me hooked. Ms. Vega brought the drama. I have a new book boyfriend to add to my list. Who doesn't like a bloody alpha male. Salvatore has it in spades. And kudos to Dolphins for overcoming what happened to her.

This book was so good! I really enjoyed the first two books in the series and this one was even better. The push/pull between Salvatore and Delphine, and the push/pull within Delphi herself both continue in this story. Their love continues to win out against all the odds. I love how protective and possessive Salvatore is of her but how he also works to give her what she really wants in life. We also got deeper into the mystery of whether her dad really is a good guy or not. I really can't wait to see what happens next!

Wow, I didn’t see that coming🫣😳😱
The twist and turns that happen in this 2nd book has been an eye opener and had me in all types of feelz😰. There is SO MUCH that happens in this book.
Phi is still working out the trauma she experienced with therapy sessions but what’s giving her the most satisfying release is something I didn’t expect😨. She was definitely putting her job and run for the DA’s office in jeopardy with her action that blurred the lines of the law. Salvatore never imagined Phi to have changed so much but he understood her needs better than anyone and supported her🥰. The things Salvatore uncovers about Phi’s dad was dispicable😣. What kind of father does this to their daughter, Ernest Adams was wrong for his actions and the reason behind it was a load of💩. The devastation and betrayal Phi felt is unfathomable and he deserved whatever treatment Phi dishes out. I was soooo happy to see Salvatore finally realizing his hearts truth and both making a conscious effort to make their relationship work😘❤️. They both still have issues with their father and I’m afraid at how bad things can turn out with Salvatores revenge against this father🫣
This emotional page turner book was awesome and I enjoyed the new dynamic of this couples relationship status and I’m looking forward to the next book😊

A tale of two fathers
As we dive back into book 2.5 of Sienne Vega’s Gangsters and Roses Series, we find Phi and Salvatore still estranged but even more totally united by their unshakeable bond, more than a decade in the making. Ms. Vega’s narrative is as always searing and visceral; the story easily mesmerizes the reader act by act and word by word. But as much as the story is about Phi and Salvatore, it is also a story of two fathers. On the surface, former DA Adams and Lucius Mancino could not be more different; one is an upstanding law abiding citizen and loving father while the other is a dysfunctional larger than life figure ruling over the underbelly of the city. What if anything could these two very different men have in common? Lucius appears very briefly in the action, but we see a great deal of DA Adams and does he have a story to tell!! I can’t say enough about how much I am loving this series and this author. She always imbues even her secondary characters with fully fleshed out personalities and quirks. I especially like Stitches and love when he refers to Phi as “Ms. ADA”, so cute! I eagerly await the next installment in the series and any other books and worlds Ms. Vega cares to create.

Talk about TWISTED. This series is getting more and mor action packed adventure.
I would normally give some insight about a book. Especially when it’s getting closer and closer to its proverbial end. This is one of those series that you HAVE TO READ for yourself.

Twisted Roses continues the story of Delphine and Salvatore. This is an awesomely written story by Sienne Vega! It is book two in the Gangsters and Roses series! It is an action packed, sexy and intense story with strong characters and storylines! This love journey by Salvatore and Delphine underscores the meaning of what’s meant to be will always be for you no matter what! Delphine tries to run from Salvatore and their love but the heart wants what it wants! This was a fantastic and captivating continuation of a beautifully crafted story and I would highly recommend this series! I’m looking forward wait to the next installment.

Delphine and Salvatore - Finally, It’s love
Wow! This book is terrific. It’s as though it’s a movie and the reader is watching the scenes play out. All my emotions came to play in this book. I laughed, I cried, I was angry, happy, scared, terrified. SPOILER ALRRT: Delphine is like a caped crusader handing out punishment on law breakers who got off without justice being served…..until they see her…away from her ADA position. They never knew what hit them! Her father is a real piece of work, he hurt her so bad. Salvatore, I absolutely love him and the way he loves Phi (Delphine)….although he is a bonafide gangster, he will go to the ends of the earth to protect Phi.

A GIFT FROM HEAVEN
Sienne Vega, your gift is beyond anything I have ever seen! I've highlighted basically the entire book!!! At every moment you enticed my soul!
The plot was dark and beautiful! A delightful exploration of how politicians mix with criminals, especially ones in the mafia and the bratva. The twists and turns were unexpected and genuinely intriguing. If you're not already, write a thriller or mystery baby because you have a gift!!! You presented a puzzle colored with love and allowed us to feast!!! I'm so grateful because the love between Salvatore and Phi is EVERYTHING. To be cherished and respected to this degree is a blessing! Simply reading this was a blessing!
Salvatore's unconditional support for his woman has me swooning. Phi, with her strength, grit, and bravery, had me on edge. I have so much love and respect for her character !!! The connection between them was LIVELY! There is no denying they're meant to be! I can't say enough good things about this book (Book 1 was delightful but, WOW Book 2 really topped the cake)!

Harry Dent
So as I’m reading this I’m reminded of Harvey Dent and his rise and fall as a prominent figure in Gotham City. I watched it all unfold in the same way and love it. Again I don’t want to give anything away but the FMC is going through it! It’s frustrating and enjoyable because the author is not pulling punches and it’s great! She’s not unscathed in this fall out, she’s lost and confused and unraveling but is also being rebuilt in a way (at least I hope we only in book 2).
The author got me with the reveal because I ultimately forgot about them. The character I thought would come back wasn’t it at all and the person with them threw me all together because I didn’t see it.
And I should have cause it was in ma face and with everything going on I forgot!
Not sure where the MFC head is with the ending…. I can guess because it seems like the story is headed that way with how both characters are discovering things about themselves and one another but I’m off to book 3 to find out!

Salvatore was not used to love , had no idea what loving someone felt like… he was never loved nor cared by anyone. whatever him and Phi have, started since they were teenagers, he called it obsession and called it “ unhealthy “… until they realized that is deeper than that, they are in love… And now he has something or rather someone to live for, he will destroy anything and anyone who threaten or hurt his Phi.
I love the way Salvatore loved his Phi, and Delphine is ready to give Jon her ALL. 🥰❤️

I thought I was ready for part two of Delphine and Salvatore’s story. But OMG I WAS NOT READY!!!!! The twists and turns really took me for a loop. This book focuses more on Delphine, her trauma, and how she handled it. I thought Salvatore was dark, but she is just as dark if not darker. Not sure if he rubbed off on her or if she had it in her all along. There were so many parts of the story where I was just floored from the turn of events and the people behind them. I know her father was a scumbag, but to realize just how low he is was unbelievable. My heart truly ached for her, but I’m glad she has Salvatore because I’m not sure she would survive without him. If Savage Roses (part 3) is anything like this book, I need to prepare myself. Absolutely love this series!!!

Delphine’s father controlled her life for 15 years. How? By placing a camera in a rose pendant on a necklace she inherited from her aunt. Salvatore’s father brutally beat him for most of his life. Turning him into a man with no heart until he met Delphine and over two plus decades (I think they broke up twice during that period) finally realized that he was capable of loving this woman he had initially used in order to get revenge on her father.
This is a story of two people traumatized by their fathers actions, who eventually decided to be together because they truly loved each other. A beautifully written series to date. Well thought out three dimensional characters. The end is coming. Will this couple have a happy ending?

I felt a little better about the female lead (Delphine) in this book versus the previous book. Once she opened her eyes and also gave a lot of thought to how she wants to live her life and not be a puppet for her father, she finally grew up and followed her heart. Now, she and Salvatore have to deal with his father (Lucious) who is super evil! I am suspicious about Lucious and what he has up his sleeve towards Salvatore. I believe that Salvatore is not his biological son anyway which is why he is so evil towards him. I cannot wait until March 23rd for the release of "Savage Roses" which is the next story of this couple!

The continuation of Salvatore and Delphine’s story and I couldn’t put it down. These two are just meant for one another no matter. Their love was written in the stars before they even knew what hit them. Their love is powerful and its strength buries itself deep into your soul. You seriously can’t help but want these two to get their HEA because I truly think they cannot live without one another. There are some twists and turns to keep you on your toes and I really cant wait to see what happens in the next book.

This is Book 2 in the Gangsters & Roses Series by this author. It is the next installment to the second chance, forbidden romance between mafia boss Salvatore and DA Delphine. Their riveting journey continues with more drama and steam, truths and secrets, mystery and suspense, sexual tension and chemistry, and engaging secondary characters to keep the reader interested. A seriously entertaining read with no happy ending yet.

Not Bad
I was engaged in Delphine & Salvatore is story from the last book. I was getting tired of the cat & mouse theme, Dolphins saying one thing and doing another. She was becoming annoying...but on the flip side her stepping onto the dark side made sense. The secrets and characters being revealed FINALLY!!! See if you can guess who was part of the secrets/the players and the pawns🤔? Pretty good series, much better than the first series of SV that I read...especially when I had planned to not read more from this author.

4.5 Stars!! This is the second book in the trilogy, and it does not disappoint. You have a smart, intelligent woman who is very accomplished and a real bad boy who is obsessed with her. There are lots of good twists and turns, good action that shows the darker side of the mafia. Looking forward to seeing where it ends up. If you like dark mafia romances with some really good steam, this is the series for you.

Twisted Roses – and there are a lot of twists in this story. Delphine and Salvatore sure have their work cut out for them. Their love is so powerful but there are those who don’t want them together. This story has its twists, danger, suspense, murder, emotions, passion, intrigue and love. Once you start reading you won’t want to put it down. I am so looking forward to the next book in this series – Savage Roses! I received an ARC and this is my honest review.

Finally!!!!!
Ok this is finally ok… I almost gave up twice to finish this book; it wasn’t so great but right about 50%ish, it became the greatness that it should have been. Half of the bad stuff was revealed and finally she still stayed, phew 😮💨 😅….
Now I am so glad I waited until the finale was out to actually start this series because I am reading these books like I am drinking a tall glass of lemonade on a hot summer day….

Wow what a great second book, I’m still very much hooked on reading this series. I love how this continues after book 1, it has such a great storyline. I just wish after Delphine had her visit for medical treatment, it would have been nice to read how Salvatore felt and dealt with it at the time, rather than it’s explained after 2 weeks. Otherwise bring on book 3 need to read what’s next highly recommend

So Salvatore taught Delphine self defense so that she would never be helpless in the event of another attack. Well, Delphine took her training a step further, only to become the female Dexter Morgan of the city of Northam! And that's just in the first chapter! This book is EXCELLENT and the roses continue to take more lurid twists and turns than could ever be expected!

This is my favorite book so far of the series. The growth that Delphine goes through in this book is amazing. There are questions from book one that are answered, but there are still questions that need to be answered. I cannot wait for the final book.

Salvatore and Delphine aka Jon and Phi, don't have an easy road in their relationship. There is dangerous threats. But their chemistry is intense. They are so good together but will the threats destroy them or strengthen them? Jon's father being one of those threats. So so good can't wait for Savage Roses.

This is the continuing story of Salvatore and Delphine. The steam, action, suspense, betrayal and eventually love is amazing. These two I swear!! Hopefully book 3 will find them happy together because the break up and get back together between them has gotten boring and repetitive. Hopefully their enemies will be defeated in book 3 and the get their HEA.

I can't express how much I love this series! I couldn't sleep while reading this book. I had to find out what was going to happen, sleep could wait. Sienne Vega has done it again. Love it!!! Highly recommend reading this and I definitely look forward to reading more from Vega.

This book is so much better than the first and I absolutely loved that one. These two are so in love with each other and it is so obvious. Phi has gone through so much and how she deals with all her trauma is crazy especially with her job. This book was so good.
