I'll give this one 3 ⭐️ but really more about a 2.5.
I'm not sure if there was anything specifically that I didn't like, but it was how everything all came together.
The storyline was a bit eh. And there were definitely some formatting issues on the Kindle version that needed fixing. (If a different person was talking it was on the same line as the previous person.)
The ending was a bit out there too. 😂😂

My first book by Linzvonc and I like what I’ve read so far. Was a quick and easy read, with a bit of “instalove” but it wasn’t unbearable because of the history between them. Made sense as there was always a bit of something zinging between these two. Alison is engaged to winner Kurt, but catches him in bed with two of her arch enemies on his birthday. Upset, she turns to Kurt’s dad Lincoln to alleviate her grief. Lincoln was written as a major silver fox and I could totally see Alison’s attraction, which had been there since she first met him through Kurt. There was a bit of a mystery involved, a who done it which was a bit of a treat. Kurt, man what a prick. He redeemed himself by the end but jeez his selfishness was epic. Will definitely continue series, though I started out of order you didn’t miss anything from book 1.

Of course I devoured this in one sitting - age gap, fiancés dad, spicy and filled with some drama and twists? It was the perfect recipe to have my not moving for three hours.
The spicy scenes were great, but I also loved how tender and sweet Alison and Lincoln were together. Kurt, was honestly the worst and I couldn't stand him, so I'm not surprised Alison picked his dad over him in the end.
Fantastic read, everything I pick up from Linzvonc never disappoints, and you can bet your ass I'm off to go and download even more from her now!
The spicy scenes were great, but I also loved how tender and sweet Alison and Lincoln were together. Kurt, was honestly the worst and I couldn't stand him, so I'm not surprised Alison picked his dad over him in the end.

This book was *chef’s kiss*. It has hands down one of the best book boyfriends EVER. Lincoln Derby was literally perfection. He was humble and an all around amazing person for how he made Allison feel.
I was hooked from the first page and I couldn’t put this book down. The twists were totally unexpected and I was on the edge of my seat while reading!
This was another fantastic book by Linzvonc. I can’t wait to see what she writes next.

Quickie Review: Someone suggested this book in a book group I am in. I was so excited to read an ex boyfriend’s dad romance. Those seem to be my favorite. The story itself was so good and I loved all things Alison and Lincoln. Their romance was incredible and even the bits of suspense had me on the edge of seat. My only problem was the editing. Several paragraphs had both characters sharing dialogue. I had to go back and reread those scenes just to be sure I understood who was saying what. If this author could go back through and clean it up with a good editor, this would have been most definitely a 5 Star read. But in the end, I can’t overlook the obvious. 4 Stars.

Lincoln is a man. Gorgeous, grown up and mature. Someone who caught Alison's eye many times. His is after all her fiancé father. But after she sees her future husband with the other women, she's devastated and Lincoln brings her comfort.
What seems like something that shouldn't happen turns into a whole lot more will Alison and Lincoln be able to weather the storm and will someone break them before they have a chance to live a happily ever after. Such a great read.

Holy daddy Lincoln! What a fine specimen. 😅 This isn’t my first book by this author and I can honestly say I’ve loved everything I’ve read from her so far.
The way Lincoln and Alison love each other is just so good. Okay, maybe she jumped to the “daddy” a little faster than I would like but honestly, I probably would’ve done the same. 😂 If you haven’t picked this one up yet, you definitely should. You can thank me later.

Linzvonc does it again! I’m telling you this author does not disappoint!
This book has a little of everything. As the title suggests, it’s packed full of drama, but not only the frame you’d expect from a story like it - there’s all kinds of drama smacking these two from all directions.
It’s definitely a bit taboo and gets more so the longer you read, but honestly it’s so good. The dad thing is just not for me usually, but the storyline while focused on that didn’t make it central. The couple and their experiences were central with the reason behind many of their issue (fiancé’s dad….) being more on the side.
So we have drama, romance, steamy scenes…what more could you want from a romance?

Alison has her gorgeous football god fiancé. She works at the shelter with such a cute dogs.
But that changes very quickly when she discovers that he is not who he seems to be, he cheats.
Just after the fact she wants to be left alone by any man but one drunk night changes her perspective forever.

Oooooo was this some steamy romance? Was this some steamy romance? WAS THIS SOME STEAMY ROMANCE? HELL YEAH IT WAS, AHAHAHAHAHA!!!! BROOOOO, uufff this book. I mean....damn @linzvonc. Just damn. Alison, a BEAUTIFUL girl, engaged to one of the most sexiest of men finds herself in a situation no woman wishes herself to ever be found in. When things suddenly take a downward turn and one drunk night forms the bases of what her dream life was like.....which includes her fiance's dad...she embarks on a journey to see where this road leads to.
Easily one of the best reads by linz till date. Even tho I did read this while it was on Inkitt, but I did read it again and I don't regret it once. I loved the way Alison's character is shown. Linz beautifully covered that part of this world where women like her exist. Who are beautiful looking yet still have insecurities. And it makes me happy to see them discover love and get on that path. I absolutely adored how they were there for each other, how Linc would always REASSURE her that she is the most beautiful woman that he has seen. How he holds her hand and accompanies her wherever her roads lead her to. And to see her do the same was heart swooning.
And the twists and turns and the WRECKAGE AND HAVOC!!!! Bro. Yo. It was freakin lit. I remember waking up all night to finish this and the way my heart kept banging against my chest was proof that this masterpiece was written perfectly. If you are someone who is into taboo romance but one of the hottest that can ever exist, and a bit of an adventure and a sinfully insanely sexy man to drool over? Lincoln Derby is your one.

He always flirts with other girls, doesnt spend his birthday with her, and wont let her adopt the dog she wants. Kurts dad Lincoln is super sweet to her, though.

Lincoln is there for her and comforts her and things get hot between them. They have both wanted each other for so long, have amazing chemistry amd fit perfectly together. But, they have to stay a secret, and you already know things never stay secret for long!

Overall, I loved this book. The title explains it all. It’s super sexy, steamy, and all around a fun time. I want to laud the author for her consistently well written novels and really bringing them to life with language that allows the reader to really visualize, in their head, everything that happens. This book is absolutely full of drama and seriously hard to put down—every other moment, I’m like, “Oop! 🫢🫢”
My icks were the sudden introduction of Fay, occurring close to the end, and the somewhat unrealistic quickness of Kurt realising his fuckups. At the same time, that’s fiction for you. Overall, I really did like this read, and I absolutely would recommend it to anyone looking for a good steamy, smutty read 💜

Linzvonc you keep writing books and I will keep reading them. When I saw the title I knew I needed to get my hands on it. This story had me hooked from the first page because who doesn't love a taboo story? Oh, and the angst was wonderful and not too much. Alison was an amazing person throughout this book and I loved her. With Kurt being her fiance you would expect respect but that is not what Alison got from him. I hurt for her. He is a grade A something. Now let's discuss that fine daddy of his because that man and his words were intense. He picked Alison up when she was at her lowest. This couple was everything you could possibly want. I love that they got their happy ending but hated what they had to go through.

Wow, what can I say. Linzvonc has definitely done it again. I couldn't put this down and when I did, I couldn't stop thinking about it. I just wanted to see what happened next. I was shocked by the unexpected twists, or should I say too. Usually, I'm a good judge of unexpected twists as I can sense them I didn't so much with this one.
Lincoln was just amazing, do grateful and humble. Making Alison see her self worth and loving her unconditionally.
Alison was lovely. Such a wonderful strong character.
Additional characters I liked was Alison's mother. She loved her no matter what she chose to do as long as she was happy.
Wow. Yet another fantastic story. I absolutely love the writing technique and the storyline of linzvonc books.

Fiancée cheats with 2 women who weren’t nice to her in the past and the engagement is ended. Dad and woman get together but not before dad breaks up with his younger girlfriend. Dads ex-girlfriend is also crazy. There’s a hostage situation, stalking, dads house is trashed and just so MUCH!

I did not enjoy this book but felt compelled to finish. I commend the author for creating so many interesting scenarios, but it made for a book that was hard to follow and enjoy.

2.5 stars I read this book on radish, a fast read very short chapters, felt like a Spanish soap (I grew up watching Spanish soaps). It started good then it went all soapopera from half the book to the end. The ending anticlimactic, as it feels like it ended in a cliffhanger chapter and I was waiting for the update of next chapter. Author explains she doesn’t like to end the books in the traditional epilogue and HEA. I respect that, but then maybe said that in the blurt o as a note at the beginning of the book. It was an ok book for me, won’t be reading again or recommend it as people like a proper ending of a book. Some of the spicy scenes were meh.

Surprisingly sweet!
I couldn’t stop reading this book. I absolutely adored Lincoln and Alison. Lincoln was so gone for her from the start and Alison’s reaction to his comments, even when she was engaged to Kurt showed how affected she was by his father. I know it was a taboo story, but really it was a love story and more about the love and less about the spice, although the spice was there. It had just the right amount of spice to contact the sweetness of them. They were really the perfect balance!
I just recently discovered Linzvonc and I must say I’m hooked. I will definitely be reading more of her work!

This erotic romance has an amazing and completely unexpected twist that really pushed it into my forever favourites.
Ali has it all and then her spoiled brat fiancé Kurt pushes it too far and is caught cheating, unfortunately ( fortunately?? 😉) as she runs from his betrayal she runs straight into his Dad’s arms.
Linc knows how to treat a woman like Ali and he’s not afraid to right the wrongs his son led her to believe were the norm.
It’s steamy, it’s romantic and there’s high tension and drama.

I love me a good age gap add ex fiancé’s father and I’m done for. Lincoln is a contractor. Hunk. He’s dating a superficial woman. His son is a superficial jerk dating sweet, animal loving, down to earth Alison. The attraction was there from the beginning. Both lusting after each other but they never crossed a line…until they did. I really enjoyed reading Ali and Linc figuring out their relationship. The steamy scenes were there but the story beat out those scenes for me. It was such a good romance read with a hea. Another great read

I loved Lincoln!!! Like can he be mine!?! This man made my heart swoon!
The characters in this story were perfect. You had that wonderful balance of the Jerk to psycho ratio. Not to much drama but just enough.
But the love I love the love.
I can say there is nothing I don’t like about this book! I just hope Kurt gets a happy story.
I just wished there was a chapter about Lincoln and Alison finding out they are first pregnant.

I can’t express how much I enjoyed this book! I didn’t realize I loved age gaps until I read this story. It was so HOT and had me wishing I knew hot older men. I love that there wasn’t any cheating between the main characters and I really loved seeing how their feelings for each other developed over time. The steamy scenes were *chef kiss* perfection. This story has a dog lover, construction worker (a bit biased on this front) and drama with a HEA; what’s not to love

This is my first time to read a book by this author. Linzvonc writes a good storyline, a strong plot, lots of open door steamy scenes and suspense with twists and turns that keep one guessing until the end. I am pleasantly surprised with the depth and details Linzvonc included that are not always associated with the trope of “ex’s dad”. I would recommend this book.

I am a sucker for the age gap. This book had me all h0t and steamy. I know Kurt was bad news and would hurt Allison so the fact she caught him in the act and left his a$$ was a win for me. Left him for his Dad. Lincoln and Allison's relationship was hot from the start and continued from there. This author did not disappoint in the spice, the h0tness, or the romance department. I highly recommend reading this book.

As soon as I seen the title I knew I had to read it. I could not put it down. It was so good. It has some angst, twist and turns that I did not see coming.
I have to say I loved Lincoln he was so amazing, the way he treated Alison. They were perfect for each other. If you haven't read any Linzvonc's books you are really missing out. She is amazing and pulls you right into the story.

Awesome!
I loved it! It was such a great read. Characters are swoonworthy! The plot is good. Got a bit of drama some steam and romance! A happy ever after ending and it sums up nicely and even leaves room to continue into more books if she chooses to add more maybe we will see if Kurt changed his playboy ways

Nice story
I think that their relationship is taboo but honestly, you love who you love. The feelings and mending of their relationships after Ali sleeps with Lincoln is very real. Things like that don't change overnight and takes a long time to heal, if ever. But I love how fiercely Lincoln loved Ali.
