Jess and Ali live a private life away from the prying eyes of Ali’s adoring fans and flying under the radar of Jess’ boss, Dylan. All that changes when Jess and Ali unexpectedly run into Dylan and his partner Ben at a night club. Both shots and sparks fly, but Jess and Ali know complications are sure to follow if the four men decide to act on their mutual attraction. Dylan and Ben want the two men underneath them for a night, but Ali and Jess force them to take time and set boundaries before they all spend a night wrapped around each other. But what was supposed to be once, becomes more. Can the two sets of partners find what they need in each other, or are old habits too hard to break and secrets too hard to tell?

Oh, that was a super hot and very mesmerizing story. I didn’t want it to end, besides this, there is a rich story to find.
Dylan Grant is Jess’ boss he’s the founder of Thompson, Grant and Levy, a law firm in New York. Jess is his executive assistant, the best there is. There’s a sexual attraction but both are way too professional to do something about it. Jess has a partner Alistair / Ali, who’s a famous supermodel. They live a very private life. Dylan has a partner, Ben, who’s a doctor.
One night at a club Dylan and Ben watch Jess and Ali dance and kiss together, they are aware of the eyes on them. They are so attractive together.
In short, because it would be a shame to spoil, the attraction is four ways mutual and they end up in bed with each other. Just for one night, and oh my goodness what a night this was. You understand, one night got two…
So we have four men, with all important jobs, their lives entwined. And here’s the point. It isn’t just an entwining, or hot encounters, my goodness, it’s soooo much more, I’ve got one advice, just read it yourself!
Ben and Dylan are possessive and that was so dang good to watch. The endearments are heart-melting, the dirty-mouthed parts hot af. There are private matters, there are work matters. The story is told from all four men’s points of view and that was just amazing!
The read was sexy and scorching AF, their interactions were detailed written so we get the full idea and all the feelings. I’ll say it again: there’s so much more! There is a story to tell.
Four endearing men, professionals in what they do for work. They have warm personalities, considerate, act possessive, protective, mature, honest, funny, and there’s nothing superficial! I loved their interactions, I shivered reading about their lives. I cried for moments. Besides all the hotness there’s quite a dose of hurt comfort. Were their things to improve? Sure, always, are they important enough to mention? Nope! I accepted the choices the author made. For me, it was a wonderfully written story. I loved all four equally.
Overall a very attractive erotic read with beautifully emotional layered characters and a wonderfully developed plot.
I wasn’t sure what I was getting into when I read this story but I am really happy that I decided to look beyond some opinions. This story is about four different guys or two sets or partners. Jess’s job is assistant to Dylan, owner of a law firm in New York. Jess has had a crush on his boss but knows more than that would chance a problem with a job he enjoys. Jess’s partner Ali is a super model. Their background story is heartbreaking but made them that much more attractive for what the pair life is currently and what they had to go through to get there. Only one problem they are both bottoms. Dylan and Ben are partners. Ben is a doctor and both of these guys have demanding careers. These two have a totally different background but are both likable guys. Again, one problem they are both alpha tops. All four of these guys end up at the same night club where fun starts when Dylan noticing his assistant. The story from there is full of fun, heartbreak, hotness and heartwarming events. Yes, this ends up between four but this author has done this so well that I have no problem with what ended up with these guys. The path is not easy. I do wish that there was more background on Dylan and Ben. I also wish the ending had been a little more detailed and carried further into the future. Overall, I feel this is a fun, page turning, hot story.
3.5. Keeping Partners by Jen Baldwin is really well written. I was worried that these characters wouldn't meld well together, I was also worried that it would be written as these couples cheating to be with the other person. It wasn't like that at all and I'm really happy it wasn't.
Each character had their own story and personality along with the things they needed help and support on. They each had a backstory, and added things to the overall story.
Each person discussed what they wanted and what they were comfortable before they ever did anything which I appreciated. I'm glad that it was so well written that I was cheering for all 4 of these characters to finally get together. I enjoyed reading this but! The reason it's not a five star is because it wasn't disclaimed that there were bdsm elements in this. I personally don't love reading about BDSM so that's why I had to take away a star but it's a good story. I also took away another star because there was so much s3x. Most of these characters spent their time having s3x with each other.
I recommend this to anyone who wants to see not one, not two, not three, but four people finding their happily ever after.
*I received an early copy of this book and this is my honest review.*
It's too fluff, too sugary and a bit OTT. No relationship issue, no conflict. Some reluctance on revealing past traumas but that's pretty much it. I don't feel the connection or chemistry between the four of them.
