Jack Storm is faced with another unsanctioned mission. Once again, he is forced to work with former Mossad agent, Hoydaya Stahl, as well as Russian agent Bronia, to do their dirty work in exchange for the release of his kidnapped wife, Agnes. Seems like we’ve heard that promise before...will this be Jack’s turn to grab the gold ring? Jack and his CIS partner, Riley Booker, who is taking a few days’ vacation to help Jack, receive their instructions, which get changed, and changed again, running them around at least a half dozen middle Eastern countries. In each country, they get into a dangerous jam, then try to figure a way out. Who is running the show? After all the twists and turns, Jack has had enough and decides for himself what to do.
Mr. Jones always presents a solid story line, with several sub-plots, strong characters, and vivid descriptions that make it easy for me to imagine that I’m amid the action. I’m pulled in at once and keep turning the page to see what comes next. Each book in the series could well be a stand-alone story, but I recommend reading the series from the beginning for full understanding of what motivates Jack. I’m eager to read more of Mr. Jones’ work.

I loved it. Just like all of the author’s other books. Full of action, suspense, intrigue, drama and an element of deception.

Terms of Extraction - a review by Rosemary Kenny.

CIS Agent Jack Storm's wife Agnes has been taken prisoner by unknown assailants, while they're all on an extraction mission in Saudi Arabia. He and sidekick Friedman take matters into their own hands before their boss Stahl stymies all efforts.

Russian, Israeli, and Canadian spies trade insults and bullets in the middle east - 4 stars

Jack Storm puts everything he has into trying to extract a known high-value spy because his wife is held hostage. Spies cannot trust other spies; they must constantly be on the lookout for treachery and deception. The title refers to the understanding of what Jack has to do to assure that he sees his wife alive.

This story has two simultaneous adventures because Jack's wife (Agnes) has been captured and is trying to escape. Agnes is not a spy but has learned a little from her husband. Her adventures seem more credible because she is obviously an amateur going against top-level but occasionally careless captors.

The chase scenes are frequent and usually have Jack and his team barely escaping. This time some of the planning was not good enough and the escapes do not always have happy endings for Jack's team. The assembled teams do not communicate fully, preferring to keep their own people in the dark. The value of spycraft is information. When information is deliberately held back, all levels of the support group suffer.

The best scenes involved automobile chases with guns out and tires squealing. After one such scene, one of the prime characters tries to hide out overnight in an unconventional location. Another clever story involves an unconventional change in clothing.

While this story can be read quickly, it is structured so that you can read a chapter or two and think about it; after you get interrupted, you can jump back in and re-immerse yourself into the action almost instantly. This is a gripping, fast-moving spy adventure.

The story has Jack having to work with different groups performing specific operations if he wants to get Agnes, his wife back, who was being held by the Saudi's. The first op that is doing relates in helping MOSSAD attempting to obtain from a terrorist safe house information relating to a bombing that happened in Israel. The operational did not go as planned and one of the terrorists had Jack pursuing information who this individual was. Jack and the MOSSAD had to make a quick exit from where they attacked because law enforcement officials would be on the scene in a very short time.

The story also had Agnes making several attempts to escape the Saudi's. The last few resulted in her being recaptured and moved often to several locations. Agnes eventually made another attempt which was more successful, but she again was taken by an unknown group. Jack in the meantime kept questioning Stahl, the Mossad leader, regarding Agnes. Stahl kept telling him that her people were on the scene, but it was too hard to launch a rescue yet.

Jack was also being told by the Russian SVR that if Jack wanted to see Agnes again, then he needed to perform this operation first. This operation did not go as planned, but in the end, Jack pulled it out.

To discover what operations Jack had to perform, what obstacles he had to overcome, who eventually provide Jack assistance when it came time for Jack and Agnes to reconnect and how that eventually played out, then you will need to read this book. The ending will provide a lead to what the next book in the series will cover.

Another enjoyable read that continually had me second-guessing the next move. We have Jack still searching for his wife, who is being held by Saudi who want Jack to do some work for them. He has gone rouge in that his searching hasn’t been authorised by his bosses at the agency.

At one point she escapes but soon re captured only this time it’s by the Mossad, who don’t want Agnes or Jack to know it’s them.

It also appears just about everyone wants Jack to undertake some sort of mission prior to his wife, Agnes, being rescued. He’s on a mission for Mossad who are double crossing him re the state of Agnes. He’s also doing a spot of work for the SVR (Russian Intelligence), which of course isn’t straight forward.

Eventually after travelling across most of the Middle East and parts of the form USSR he is reunited with Agnes, but all of this comes at a huge personal cost. Exactly what cost? Well once you read the book all will become very clear or maybe not!!

This is as normal with Ethan’s books very fast moving action with lots of twists and turns which keep you guessing and wanting more.

Terms of Extraction - A Jack Storm Spy Thriller: Assassination Espionage Mission, my twenty-sixth read from author Ethan Jones and the in his Jack Storm Spy Thriller series. Well-written and enjoyable, espionage/assassination thriller fiction, thoroughly entertaining! With every book he writes and each genre (Jack Storm spy thriller or Justin Hall, espionage/thriller or Carrie O'Connor, espionage/thriller or Javin Pierce espionage/thriller or Jennifer Morgan, romantic suspense) he delves into, Ethan Jones continues to polish his craft. I always look forward to his next work Final Extraction - A Jack Storm Spy Thriller: Assassination Espionage Mission 7. An Ethan Jones book is like a visit from an old friend. I received a free Kindle copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

I could label each and every one of Ethan Jones’ spy thrillers with tags such as ‘quality’, ‘action’, ‘suspense’ because they all have those qualities. Terms Of Extraction is no exception as the reader is treated to a twisting action filled story full of great characters and stunning globe trotting settings. Characters don’t come much tougher than Jack Storm either as he takes hit after hit trying to jump through various hoops hoping to get closer to securing his wife’s release. Ethan Jones never lets his readers down on any of these fronts so if you’ve ever read one of his books before know you’ll get the same high standards here. If you’re new to the author's writing this is a great example of what you can expect. (Although start at book one, even though each works as a standalone, reading each book in sequence just adds another 'something’ that makes them all the more enjoyable.)

Are you ready for another Jack Storm roller coaster? He gets himself into a number of messes as he works with several non-Canadian agencies. He continues to look for his wife, Agnes, who was snatched by the Saudis. This novel takes him to several different countries: Kuwait, Iraq, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. In each country Storm finds trouble and manages to get himself out of trouble. He works with Mossad, the Soviet agency SVR and other odd organizations. The action builds surrounding the events in Riyadh with his wife, Agnes. And his buddy, Riley, takes some vacation days to help Storm. If you are looking for an adventure book to read, this is a good one. The book ends with a hint for the next in the series.

High Energy. Strong Emotion.

Jack has made a deal with Bronia of the Russians and Hodaya Stahl a former Mossad operative to extract Irakli Khachapuridze. Bronia wants him dead and Stahl wants him handed over alive.
Jack has agreed to do this in order to get his wife Agnes out of Saudi Arabia where she is being held captive.
Jacks friend Riley has taken vacation specifically to comes to Turkey to meet up with and help rescue Agnes.
While Jack is dealing with terrorists at every turn, Agnes has made her third escape only to be recaptured.
Action packed. High tension. The ending is not at all what I thought it would be and you won’t want to miss any of this book.

I have always admired Jack for his honorable character, he is a genuinely good man. I sometimes wonder how he manages to work with operatives from other agencies who consistently lie to him. I may have mentioned this before in my reviews. This is very evident in this exciting and compelling assignment that Jack is forced to undertake this time. Every moment is fraught with danger and spine-tingling fearful action that makes it hard to breathe easily. I was on tenterhooks the whole time not sure how the next second let alone a minute would turn out. It is a riveting read and up to the author's always amazing high standards of writing in this genre.

Terms of Extraction Continues the Jack Storm series in a grand fashion!

Jack Storm has a big problem. Hodaya Stahl, a former Mossad operative, has Jack on a mission that he must complete in order to bring his wife Agnes home from captivity, wherever that may be.

This is one book that is hard to put down once you start reading. Jack's mission is dangerous, full of non-stop explosive action; along the way he sometimes finds it difficult to determine the difference between possible friends or enemies he meets; and all of it is intermixed with twists and turns through which he has to survive.

You need to read this book!

Another fast moving thriller as Jack Storm closes in on rescuing his wife whom he once thought was dead. However to rescue Agnes he first has to assist foreign security forces who should then deliver an exchange for her. The action is as quick as the the bullets that fly out of Jack's weapons and the ones that are aimed at him. Who should he trust in his effort to enable an exchange to happen, and is Agnes actual still alive? Another enjoyable read that continually had me second guessing the next move.

Ethan Jones is at it again with his latest Jack Storm book. (BTW, this is my favorite Jones series). As usual Jack, the Canadian Extractor, finds himself in a conundrum. With his daughter recovered, Jack still searches for his wife. And there is the Russian extraction which must be completed if he hopes to get back his kidnapped wife. The novel takes you through virtually the entire mid-east . As is noteworthy to Ethan Jones, his plot, prose and pithy characters make for an exciting adventure.

Fast-Paced, Electrified Thriller

This helter-skelter thriller moves at a breakneck pace as Jack Storm tries to find and rescue his wife from the Saudi government. He's already recovered his daughter and is so close to getting Agnes, his wife. But operatives of Mossad and the SVR are trying their best to manipulate Jack into doing their bidding. After traipsing across a fair part of Europe, it seems like Jack is finally getting close to rescuing Agnes. But as we know from Jack's past exploits, not everything goes to plan. Read into that what you will!

Such a rush!

Jack is caught between two rivalries who want the same thing from him in exchange for someone very dear to him. Which one, if any, can he trust? Just when he thinks things can't get worse they do. However, he does manage to find his way out of the dangers. Mow, not knowing about the status of his closest friend and another ally, he must dive back in one more time to settle the score for good!

Jack Storm is on another mission, this one unsanctioned, as he is on administrative leave due to issues with his previous mission. But, Jack is once again working with agents from other agencies that he does not trust but must work with if he is going to rescue the most important person in his life. He just hopes he can accomplish it and come out alive. Everywhere he turns is more roadblocks and lies and traitors.

Ethan Jones did it again. He wrote the 6th book of the Jack Storm series and what a story! It catches you by the throat on the first page and you cannot let it go. At the end, you crave for more. The book is full of twists and turns. I was pleasantly surprised in Agnes’s character. I certainly would recommend this book to anyone who loves action and a good spy thriller.

This latest in the Jack Storm series doesn't disappoint. Jack is still trying to put his family back together and this time with some help and hindrance from Mossad it helps in his quest. This story has, as usual, a lot of action this time set in and around the middle east. It is a well written easy to read book that I enjoyed.

Ethan has done it again with his sixth installment of Jack Storm. Always in a state of adversity, Jack seems to have a knack for staying alive no matter what is thrown at him by his enemies and those that should be on the same team. sensational read and I cannot wait for the next chapter in Jack Storm's journey to get his family back.

Jack is still puzzling over the last assignment, things didn’t seem right.
They surprised terrorists and they fought back, look at the big picture, he is told. Jack is intent to find his wife, by any means.
Good action plot that readers will enjoy.

Jack is getting close to freeing his wife and bringing her home. All he needs to do is complete an extraction. Should be easy. But he has no help from the CIS. And he is forced to work with the Saudis, the Russians, and Mossad, what could go wrong?

Sooo much going on, and who can Jack trust? This is a hard-driving, complicated plot that hardly gives the reader a chance to breathe. The author juggles many balls (or AKs?) in the air at once and does a great job of keeping the suspense at the highest level. I'm addicted and on the hook for more.
