In her fourth mystery, Julie Erickson’s calm summer has abruptly ended. Someone from her past has moved to town, stirring up unpleasant memories and developing deep connections to people she knows. Random items have vanished from homes in the Rolling Hills development only to reappear in odd places. And when someone is killed at the house next door to Julie’s, there’s no question it was a homicide. This time, her instinct to investigate puts her in a position she’s never been before---at odds with the lead detective and trying to solve a case in which the bold killer made no attempt to conceal their crime.

Wonderful character development and interactions that made you feel like you are present while it all unfolded. Story line is quick moving but does not feel rushed nor pushed. Author had me guessing on who and why all the way to the reveal.
These books are suspenseful with no filth. No cursing, no sea, just mysteries to solve and figure out whole reading. Its hard to find this style book outside Christian fiction but this series has it
