I have found my place in the world in the small town of Driftwood. After globetrotting with my two besties, I am thrilled to settle in the small mountain town where I can devote all my time to saving the earth. I believe in loving the world around you—something grouch face Locke Powers could stand to learn a little bit about. I could teach him if he would come down off his mountain long enough to let me.
Locke Power
I've been a lone wolf most of my life and plans are to keep it that way. Letting other people in just leads to being let down. No one sticks around and nothing lasts forever. But when mouthy Lennon starts aiming her sunshine smiles my way, I start thinking about forever. Not that a fancy girl like Lennon would ever settle down with a wild mountain man like me.
When a snowstorm strands us at my cabin, I decide it is high time I let this spot of sunshine tame me.
Lumber Snack
noun
lum· ber· snack
A Lumber Snack is a term best used to describe the bearded, beautiful, and burly lumberjacks of Driftwood. Men who live the the axe and die by their big, soft, cinnamon roll heart. They might be grumpy, growly beasts out in nature, but in the bedroom, they’re sweet, sensual, even submissive to the woman in their bed.
These delicious men swing a big axe by day and even bigger...tools at night!
Born and raised in the Midwest, reading and writing have always been Dee's passion. Short stories became long stories that finally, became books. While playing grownup during the day, meaning working a job, Dee wrote her first book. When not reading or writing, which leaves less time than she's proud of, Dee loves spending her time with her four furbabies, her husband and lots of movies nights.
This is part of the Snowed In series each book can be read as a standalone with a sexy mountain man and the girl who captures his attention. Locke sexy as all get out mountain man a lumberjack living up in the mountains suits him just fine or so he keeps telling himself that is until he meets the sassiest women ever. Lennon feisty, sassy tell you just as it is while out watching a rare bird knowing a storm is headed her way but when a man sexy as all get out man (not that she will tell him that 😊) comes barging up to her telling her she must leave due to the account of the storm. Locke makes sure the beautiful girl will leaves despite her sass and loving every minuet of it but he isn’t going to tell her that what he wants is turn her across his knee spanking her and when the storm hits trapping them together for a few days getting to know each other is amazing the attraction is off the charts but he feels like he is out of her league considering she comes from money something he works for and when the storm ends they each go their own way but neither forgetting the other, both sick from missing each other but will he follow his heart to get his girl, will she forgive him for judging her, and can they find HEA?.

This is a well written book with strong characters in Locke and Lennon. The author does a great job pulling you in and kept me glued to the pages with an entertaining storyline. She brings an insta love with steam as well as some heartbreak. She moves the story quickly and smoothly with her perfectly painted scenes and delivers an enjoyable read.

'The men on this mountain are built like Redwoods...
...tall, thick and a little bit daunting' Not that that stops Lennon sassing, back chatting and almost daring Locke to take her, strip her and spank her! Locke thought he knew what love was, and then he met Lennon. She steals his breath, his focus and his heart, but she also fuels his imagination, stars in his fantasies and makes him want to be a better man...swoon. Hot enough to melt the snow drifts, with an extra sizzle to warm you on a winters night, I read this on Kindle Unlimited.
Locke is on the mountain as he feels he made a mistake with his best friend's girl, after the friend walked away from her and his twins, only to come back. Lennon loves nature and is on the mountain to find a bird but she doesn't expect Locke. Snowed in they have time to get to know each other but a miscommunication sees Lennon running back to town. A great short read. Loved the characters and the storyline. It's always good to read of the past characters as well.
While working up on the mountain, Locke spots a woman up there and its dangerous for her to be there. Lennon is watching a very rare bird but when a storm is approaching and Locke tells her she needs to leave he takes it in his own hands to make sure she leaves. He whisky her away in his truck. He was right cause they were snowed in for a few days. They really got to know each other while being snowed in but then something happens between them and Locke gets upset as he doesn't have the money like she does. He learns that her way of loving people. They go their separate way but Locke can't stand being away from her. He realizes he doesn't need money to show his love, so he makes her a really nice bird cage of sorts for the bird she was watching. He even went as far as to bring the bird in the sheltered area. Lennon is so impressed, that she forgives him. They kiss and make up. They end up getting married on the mountain at his cabin. His bird cage thing he made was a great success, Lennon is so happy. Luckily being snowed in was the best thing ever.

Part of the Flirt Club's wonderful Snowed In series, Dee Ellis' Snowed in with the Lumberjack is a fun, entertaining, steamy instalove romance. Lumberjack Locke is happy keeping to himself, working up on the landing and living in his cabin in the mountains. After meeting the gorgeous former party-girl over the holidays, Locke was taken with the young beauty. And when she starts hanging around the landing while scoping out a rare bird, Locke finds himself unable to stay away - and when a blizzard moves in, he takes her to his cabin to wait out the storm. Trapped together for days, the two find themselves happily wrapped up in one another. But when they are forced back into the real world, can they survive amidst their differences? A must-read steamy addition to a fabulous series!

Part of the Snowed In Series. This story had me hooked from the start. Lennon is out bird watching when Locke sees her and realizes she’s the girl he met the previous Christmas and hasn’t been able to forget. Locke is a loner and believes he doesn’t deserve to find love and happiness because of his past. He pushes people away not wanting to get to close to them. Lennon doesn’t believe in love even though her two best friends have found their soulmates and are happy. She’s never thought about staying in one place too long and tends to push people away when they get too close. This was an engaging story. Lennon and Locke were great together and brought out the best in each other. Both were scared when things got tough and reacted badly but knew they were ultimately meant to be together. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I loved Snowed in With The Lumberjack: The Snowed In Series and I love this series. Locke is a grumpy lumberjack, he had his heart broken and doesn’t think love is for him. Enter Lennon, a loud and stubborn woman who doesn’t take his crap. They had met prior but suddenly he knows she’s his future and a snowstorm is the perfect time to show her. Until he makes a huge mistake and pushes her away. Can he prove to her he was just scares and will take care of her forever? Such a sweet storyline and lovable characters. I just love this story and would definitely recommend this book and the series.

Snowed in With The Lumberjack: The Snowed In Series by Dee Ellis. Some days I wouldn’t mind being snowed in with a lumberjack, especially one like Locke. Yeah, he checks all my boxes and then some. Lennon is ready to settle down and finds herself a nice small mountain town of Driftwood to be the perfect place. Locke and Lennon don’t mix well at first, but neither can deny the attraction. A snowstorm brings them together and give them plenty of time to explore one another and their feelings. I enjoyed this story and would recommend to others. Locke and Lennon's story is sure to thaw the grumpiest heart and melt even the biggest snowstorm. Filled with equal parts passion and growth, their story will leave your smiling at their banter and swooning at the power of the love and desire for each other. Although Locke is the Lone Wolf of the mountain, he has noticed Lennon before and when he finds her tracking a bird without regard for the upcoming storm he has no option but let her know about the upcoming storm. But there is more here than just a snowstorm that is coming to change Locke's view of the Lennon. Snowed in, alone, together, they have no option but to acknowledge what they didn't before.
This is a Snowed In Series starring Lennon Aster and Locke. This book will have you laughing at how these two bicker like an old married couple. OMG the way they start off with nicknames that are so funny it will have you doubling over laughing. I loved how strong and brave Locke is when he buys his heart on the line, I have to say feisty Lennon is a hoot to read about. I loved how these two seem like complete opposites but are the best thing for each other.

Lennon and Locke are great when they get together. These two both have issues they need to deal with before they can get their happy ever after. Locke has a past he needs to bury and move on from and Lennon feels like she needs to save every friend, tree, bird, everything in the world and feels she can do it with money. But they are hot together, and once they understand each others needs they finally get their HEA. Fast paced read, lots of steam too. Good interesting story.

Lennon is tracking a rare bird through the mountain when gorgeous lumberjack Locke tells her it’s not safe for her to be there because of a snowstorm coming in! Locke likes his quiet life on the mountain, that is until he meets beautiful Lennon! He knows a bad snowstorm is coming in and decides to bring her to his cabin! Can he show her that they belong together? Can they find their happily ever after? Great book that I would highly recommend!.

Locke needed a change of scenery after the fiasco that cost him his best friend. He has been working with his cousin for the past few months but keeps to himself, as he has always been some what of a loner. When he meets Lennon she knock him for a loop. When they see each other, they flirt until with a storm coming, they both end up in his cabin.
Can these two, who never expected to find that one person, find something together?.

I really enjoyed this story from Driftwood . Locke was a mountain man, lumberjack who isolated himself in his cabin after being hurt in the past. Lennon was sweet, happy and sassy. They met at a friends and had an instant connection. When they were snowed in together at his cabin things heated up. Sweet, steamy, fun story with amazing chemistry, a little misunderstanding and miscommunication and a beautiful HEA.

I liked the chemistry and connection between Lennon and Locke and I thought they completed each other well. They both had insecurities, but when they were together everything made sense and they were happy. They had a good support network that saw them through bumpy times and they helped each other to grow personally as they spent time together.

'Snowed in With the Lumberjack' was a bit much for me. The slow-paced all-over-the-place plot was filled with lust, more lust, and even more lust. Additionally, the main characters, Locke and Lennon, didn't seem to have any chemistry and seemed to be forced to be together. Perhaps, the novella could have been turned into a novel so that the characters' circumstances didn't seem rushed. I received a copy for free, and I am voluntarily giving my honest review.
Lennon (h) is up the mountain birdwatching when she draws the attention of Locke (H), a grumpy lumberjack loner. Lennon flirts and pushes back against Locke, even as both are drawn to one another. With an impending snowstorm coming, Locke insists that Lennon come to his cabin to take refuge from the cold and snow. Things heat up between the two very quickly in this instalove, age gap, mountain man quickie.
I really enjoyed this story by Dee Ellis. I couldn't wait to see what happened next between Lennon and Locke. Lennon was near the platform watching a bird. She also brings herself in front of Locke. He has kept to himself for long enough. This blizzard will offer them a chance to connect. Will they be able to work through any misunderstandings?

What happens Wilhelm a free spirit who wants to save the world meets a grouchy lumberjack? Can something work out between them or do they live in too seperate of a world? Will her money pose a threat to Locke's manhood? Will he be able to overcome the fact that she comes from money and can provide for herself? Short instalove with a HEA.

Who knew what could develop during a dangerous storm. The scenes are spicy and sensual and the connection between these two is undeniable when it comes to our lumberjack Locke and the confidence of Lennon. A fast paced insta love romance that will having you wondering “will they or won’t they” at times. This is a standalone story within a series that guarantees a HEA ending that will leave you smiling.
Lennon and Locke couldn't be more opposite, a grump and sunshine stuck together in a cabin during a snowstorm, butbcan this time together spark something between them. Well written festive fast paced romance.

A lot of instant attraction, happily ever after stories have the main characters meet, fall in love and that is the end of the story. This story is so much more. We get to see the leads work through their differences and struggles as they work towards their happily ever after. Great read!.

Helped by being snowed in, Lennon and Locke act on their attraction. They overcome their pasts and accept how each other shows their love to be together.
This was a cute forced proximity romance. I really liked the first half of the story, it was cute and romantic. The second half was a bit more rushed and had a bit too much drama for me. But all in all I liked the story and was entertained.

This was a really sweet yet steamy book. I really enjoyed Locke and Lennon together. Locke and Lennon are wonderful together but these two have a little bit bump road on their way to a really sweet HEA. I really enjoyed this book and thought it was a great addition to this multi-author series.

A lumberjack and a socialite an unusual pairing, but they feel the pool towards one another. Enjoyed the characters chemistry, they played well off of each other, liked how they have their highs and lows and figure out what works for them.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. I thought that Locke and Lennon had sparks flying from the beginning. I liked how they interacted. He's the gruff mountain man who finds his perfect match. They get the chance to realize just how good they could be together thanks to Mother Nature. It was a sweet, funny and still steamy romance
Grumpy Locke left his past behind after making a mistake and settled in the mountains promising himself never to fall in love again, but that all goes out the window when he meets Lennon and gets snowed in with her.
