The Count by Sara Fields is book three in the trilogy of part of Stalked by a Monster by various best-selling authors. It's, kinky, hot, and decadent and twisted. A fast paced, intense quick novella. It's well written with well developed characters and well thought storyline. The story is told from a first person point of view. The Count is a retelling of Dracula. It contains lies, deception, secrets, lust, passion, pleasure and pain, captive/captor, opposite attracts, insta-love, control, age gap, obsession, possessiveness, rape, forced proximity, madness, spanking, angst, captivity, dominance, submission, anger, torture, BDSM, rough intense sexual scenes, stalking, steam, pain, power, control, orgasm withheld, manipulations, surprises, spice and love.
It started off with Dmitri Alucard going to London for business to meet with his a longtime acquaintance and family Dorian Gray who told him about a business proposition that he couldn't turn away from. He was going to make the introduction to Edward Hyde who has special type of drug that he was interested in and would catapult his business even further. They agreed to meet at a gentleman's men club. On his way to meeting from home in Edinburgh his driver was driving through the University of campus when he saw a sight that would change his world forever. He saw beautiful young woman with dark mahogany curls and from the moment he saw her with her friend and eyes briefly contact, he knew that she would be his and his wife. Her was Jasmina Harker a.k.a Mina. He instantly fell in love and he wanted her and whatever the Count wants he gets.
Fast forward a year later she was working at a real estate company and not a very good agent. When boss called her in his office with a job from their most lucrative customer. She must the Alucard estate so she thought a sale that would be a lucrative deal for her company. Dmitri tricked Jasmina into coming to his estate for a week knowing she would never go back to her job. Dorian and Hyde was in two previous books from Zoe Blake and Measha stone.
