**I won a copy of this book in a Goodreads/ first reads giveaway.**

In the sea of self help books (I went through an optimistic phase years ago, stuffing any and all self help books into closets and under the bed before people stopped by. DON'T JUDGE ME) it's easy to get lost. The 'experts' who have cottage industries (I won't name shame them but pretty sure you can rattle off a few of these authors/lifestyle 'gurus'..) really dispense well intentioned but often cloying advice.

This book had a cross between Forest Gump's sincerity (i.e. no bullshit, just the author's real experiences and how they related to each lesson she learned) and Oprah's optimism sans annoying plus for overpriced products.

It was refreshingly candid, lacking the new age patois that clogs many books in the self help genre. Anyone who can not only turn their life around but write a book to help others and start their own business (she has a website, check it out) is worth listening to for a few tips. This book is very accessible to anyone who wants to make a change, either a complete overhaul/rebooot or just a few lifestyle tweaks. It's a quick read and offers concrete easy to follow advice. I liked it, was super glad I won it (thanks, truly) and this is well worth your time. It's good to read something uplifting once in a while and even better to read something that offers an outline/ game plan for anything you have been wanting to accomplish. The personal anecdotes (especially special moments/memories she had with her kids) made this special.

For self help books, it was okay. I was drawn to the title WTF to OMG. I found myself using the term WTF moment to some of my friends when they were complaining.

I also quoted some ideas to friends and relatives how they coud go from a WTF moment to OMG. I also use the helpful guide to declutter

I received this book as a Goodreads giveaway.

Normally I do not like self-help books, but this one caught my eye (obviously, or I wouldn't have entered the giveaway). This is a practical self-help books, one that points out those little things in your life that you know are weighing you down and making you just survive day-to-day instead of actually enjoying life, and the author gives you real solutions to get to that point, mostly within the context of her own life.

I'm currently in the middle of a WTF time, and have been wanting out for a while. I have to get some major projects finished (WTF to OMG doesn't happen immediately)but in other parts of my life I can use Jennifer's advice and suggestions. Then once the WTF is over, it should be OMG from here on out. Jennifer puts everything in the context of her family and the changes to her life started with running, but it's not a book that pushes running at you (I'm not a runner at all) as a cure for everything. In fact, she gives you tools and exercises to do so you can analyze your own life and put things in to perspective for yourself and see where you need to focus to get to an OMG life.

I will admit that I did not use all the tools available, I found the book was enough for (for now, I may use them later), but she suggests you contact her on twitter for extra support and to share your stories and progress, and a number of tools and activities online. I think this added step is wonderful, especially if you find yourself struggling. Not all of the tasks are easy, such as trying to leave that drama queen "friend" behind so you can focus on yourself, or just saying no when someone asks you to do something and you know you don't have the time. Having extra online support just adds to your ability to go from WTF to OMG.

So any woman out there who is consistently, or even just sometimes, feeling frazzled or flustered in her life, pick up this book. It will help you prioritize your life and give you the tools to have the OMG life you crave. Thank you Jennifer.

Back in 2000 I had a wtf moment and changed a lot of things in my life. Started running, eating right, and ran a marathon in 2003. Then about 8 years later my knee started hurting a little and swelled up when running so I quit. I haven't stopped exercising but I kind of lost my way a little bit and went back into some old habits. This book was a great reminder for me that I need to refocus on what I want. I need to make a vision board again and I need to set a goal again and aim for that goal. I've also have been meaning to go through the house and eliminate the things we don't really need around anymore. So this was a great refresher for me and a great reminder on what I need to do again. If you haven't had a wtf moment before, or are just having one, this is a good book to help you along the way to your OMG moment. Great analogy with the wtf to OMG.

I won this book on Goodreads.

Funny, yet it speaks the truth we women don't always want to see. Def a must read for any woman who has more "WTF" moment than she wants each day!

While did find some value in this book, a lot of it was information that I already know. She has some great tips and presents it in a fairly easy to read format. I must note that the book has several grammatical errors which I found extremely annoying.
