End Time Machine: Unlocking the Mystery Between the Rapture and the Second Coming

Rate this book
If it was possible, would you want to know the future?

Members of a small-town community Bible group find themselves stuck when they study the end times together. Some staunchly believe in a pre-tribulation rapture, others are post-tribulation advocates, and still others just want more food and fun at their meetings.

Before the group breaks up, they agree to take a new approach. First, a courtroom hearing is organized with opposing lawyers presenting their cases. Then, in a supernatural twist, biblical figures travel through time to take the witness stand.

End Time Machine focuses on specific biblical prophecies that must be fulfilled before the rapture occurs and their impact on Christians worldwide in the years ahead. Readers step inside the courtroom to examine the pieces of the prophetic puzzle provided by Paul, Daniel, John, Matthew, and Jesus himself in the context of today’s events.

Imagine going back in time and being able to hear from the eyewitnesses who walked with Jesus. What insight might they shed on our understanding of the Bible? Kelli Nelson imagines just that as a team of savvy scientists use a top-secret time machine to bring back Biblical figures to serve as witnesses in a court case that argues end time events.
Nelson has meticulously researched end time prophesy and makes a compelling case that much of what the Bible has foretold has been unfolding in recent years. The author does a great job of sprinkling humor into a topic that can be dry and sobering. As historical characters interact with our contemporary world, it's pretty amusing. The theme of a court case offers a unique way to examine evidence on the varying positions of end time scholars and when the rapture will occur. Even if you don't agree with the conclusions drawn, readers will have a greater understanding of the topic.

The book has great visual appeal with Scripture passages written on scrolls throughout the book. At the end, the author includes discussion questions, some geographical information, a discussion of current events that line up with end time prophesy, as well as an FAQ section. She also includes extensive endnotes with Scripture references for each chapter in the book.

Nelson offers a refreshing alternative to traditional works on end times. Written in an engaging, easy-to-understand format, readers of all ages will gain a better understanding of end times. This would make an excellent book to read as a family and will hopefully encourage readers to be faithful students of God's Word.

The end times has always been something that did not seem relevant to me; however this book shows the importance of planning for it in an easy to understand format. It is not very often that you find a book that is theologically sound and has a story line that is easy to follow. It was so enjoyable to feel like I was personally getting to know some of the greatest people from the Bible.

Kelli Nelson invites the reader into a creative presentation of the Biblical passages on the rapture and the last things. In a comfortable and welcoming Minnesota context, her characters bring to life a forensic examination of the texts. The small town courtroom with the rule-abiding judge, the time-travelling Biblical authors who communicate via Convers8, and the brother/sister advocates for each side of the end-time debate all frame a well laid out exposition of the Scriptural data and their modern interpretation. Nelson is passionate about this topic and makes her keen understanding accessible through charts, bullet-point lists, and very cool scrolls of biblical text. As reader of Science Fiction, I found myself occasionally musing about the time-travelling technology and its use for such spiritual ends… but Nelson’s left me neither in the realm of science nor of fiction, but in the more substantial domain of the important questions of life and its end.

Get ready

Ooooohhhh myyyy goodness!! This story has blown my mind!!! It is a great interpretation of the prophecy of the coming of our Lord!!
If you can believe the government does not and will not tell you everything that is happening behind the scenes. You can see there is a possibility of them having a Time Machine.
I believe the author did a great job with explaining the end times. All I will say is. We all need to get our hearts and minds right. It’s time to be bold and loving in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Very interesting concept of fiction and non fiction for Bible prophecy. I agree that there is no pre-trib rapture.

"This book was so captivating that I read it twice!

End Time Machine is a phenomenal read, and an absolute must-read for everyone. It's worthy of your time. The author is a masterful storyteller who keeps you on the edge of your seat while shedding light on Biblical prophecies that you may not have considered before.

This one truly deserves to be made into a movie!"

I enjoyed this book, and even liked most of the biblical portrayals. But I do think Paul would have been more gospel minded and mention the Jewish believers in some of the churches he ministered to.

So fun to read

Loved how the word was presented and made alive. It was well written and a joy to read.
It could even be used as a bible study for those who love Revelation.
