A beautiful introductory text to Islamic chivalry. I would love to see a more detailed work in the future, but as an introduction to the topic, this works well. This book should be taught to every teenage Muslim boy.

An interesting read, as it explores a rarely discussed topic i.e. the empowerment of men. Conversations on empowerment often center around women, sometimes to the point of overlooking their male counterparts, without realizing that men too can become victims of the turbulent world nearing its end. Considering the current challenges surrounding gender, both from the perspective of Islam and humanity as a whole, reviving and practicing the principles of futuwwah among Muslim men is an urgent task, long overdue.

A must read for any young man on being a true man in today's day and age. With the idea of what a man is being destroyed by society, Imam Dawud does a phenomenal job on showing why you should be proud to be one, and the qualities you should inhabit.
