Kayla's father hires Seth to do surveillance on her. He's immediately attracted to her but he hides who he is and what he's doing. He has a bad leg from serving in the military and thinks nobody would ever want him, most especially Kayla.
Seth turns into somewhat of a stalker. He's constantly watching Kayla on CCTV and at her home. When she finds out what he's doing, it causes some drama but it's resolved quickly! They're really sweet together.

Holy Jalapeños, this was soooo sweet n steamy!!! Loved it! I’d stopped reading this author because she has tendency to ruin the sexy bits with rubbers, but I saw a review they mentioned no condom and I decided to give her another try. SOOOOOO glad I did! This had a shy, somewhat awkward hero who sees a picture of the heroine and knows immediately in his gut that she’s his. He’s hired by her overprotective dad to watch over her, but he goes one step farther and stalks her, unable to help himself as his obsession with her grows.
There’s a tiny bit of angst when the h finds out. But I melted when the hero gets her back. I loved his declaration to her and it brought the swoon.
Safe. Hero’s past isn’t mentioned at all except to say he’s never felt about a woman the way he does with the heroine. Heroine is a virgin and belongs only to her hero. No others, no cheating or sharing or abuse. HEA with epilogue and kids years out

Kayla’s dad is worried about her safety, so he hires Seth, who works for a security team, to keep surveillance on his daughter. Seth knows it’s wrong and feels bad about it, but he’s immediately drawn to Kayla and decides against his team mates opinion to take the job.
Kayla moved out of her parents house and to the beach to make it on her own. She’s independent, working at a cafe and making her own decisions in her life. She’s immediately attracted to Seth, and they start a relationship.
This novella could be a problem for readers because Seth is absolutely obsessed and totally violates Kayla’s privacy. But he’s a good dude and he stops once their relationship gets going, even telling Kaylas dad that he quits the job. I love me an obsessed man and Seth hits all the right notes.

OMG!!! WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.
Seth and Kayla met when he's feeding the seagulls and she is walking to bring them bread crumbs. Seth was hired to watch over Kayla by her father, when an assault happened to her sister Kayla moves away from home to get away from her overprotective father. When Kayla's father hands Seth a picture of her he has to met her. Seth and Kayla talk but he leaves before anything happens. Seth hacked into Kayla's television to watch her at home. Seth accidentally unmutes himself and Kayla hears him, she gets suspicious and unplugs and covers her television. Kayla then calls Sunset Security, Seth hacks into her cell phone and is able to intercept the phone call reassuring her that he'll be out in the morning. When Seth comes over Kayla is shocked when she sees it's the guy that was feeding the seagulls. Seth heads home and disconnects his security on Kayla when he hears her talking to her friend about him. When Kayla goes to feed the seagulls once again Seth is there feeding them. They sit and talk and soon Kayla is inviting Seth to her apartment. Seth makes sure that Kayla is positive she wants him to come to her house, he did some background checking on her and found out about her sister. As soon as they are inside Seth is pleasuring Kayla then they make love. The following day Seth calls Kayla father to tell him he's not tracking her activity anymore he doesn't feel right doing it. Seth tells Kayla's father that she hardly goes out, and she has not threats. Kayla's father tells Seth he's not happy about this, but Seth tells him he doesn't feel comfortable watching her when she doesn't know. One week later, Seth has been spending his nights with Kayla, when she's working during the day he heads back home. When Seth has to work late and Kayla is home alone her father comes. Kayla's father tells her about Seth but she doesn't believe him. Kayla's father takes her to Seth's place and when he answers she finds out the truth. Kayla goes to her apartment and cries herself to sleep. Three days later, Seth gets a phone call from his boss Bronn Protecting His Brat that he's taking everyone out for drinks. While they are out Bronn and Adrianna talk to Seth about Kayla. Seth takes off knowing what he needs to do. Kayla locks up the cafe, where she works and heads to feed the seagulls. On the bench she sees someone sitting, soon Kayla realizes it's Seth. Kayla asks Seth if he followed her watching his camera. Seth tells her he doesn't regret what he did. Seth explains why he did what he did. Then Seth goes down on one knee, Kayla knows this is uncomfortable for him because of his bad leg. Seth tells her he loves her then asks her to marry him. When Kayla tries to pull Seth up because of his leg he tells her he's not getting up until she answers him. Kayla tells Seth yes she'll marry him. Six years later, Kayla finishes her shift at the hospital, she looks at the cameras while she leaves. Kayla knows that Seth is watching her but she doesn't mind it now. Kayla knows Seth is only trying to keep her safe, his obsession for her is strong. Seth and Kayla have a four year old and a two year old. This life isn't the one her father wanted for her but it's Kayla's life and she's loving it.

There’s a thin line between protecting and stalking and that line is where Seth stands. He’s former special forces, now IT security, hired to make sure Kayla is safe in her new life away from home. One look at her picture begins Seth’s obsession. He’d do anything to have her but doesn’t feel he deserves her because of the damage his body received in the military. The lengths he goes to for protection are definitely more like a stalker but I absolutely loved it. He has a good heart so he struggles with what he’s doing but can’t stay away from her.
I adored Kayla as a character. She’s kind, loving, caring, with a heart for people and a smart mind. She is drawn to Seth and feels safe when he’s around. The more time they spend together, the quicker she is falling for him. Of course secrets never stay hidden and she will learn what he’s been doing. How will she react? Will she forgive him and accept him?
There is tons of scorching hot steam in this book as well! I really liked how these scenes remembered to include his leg injury. As much as it bothers him, I’m glad it wasn’t ignored in the heat of the moment. He tries not to let it bother him, but Kayla’s kind heart helps her see that it does. I really liked that it was included and I felt like it even added more to the story. Definitely high heat scenes that will only add to Seth’s obsession and min as a reader. These two belong together and I couldn’t have been happier with the ending! This book has all the feels and I highly recommend it.

This is book number 2 of the Sunset Security series and focuses on Seth and Kayla. When Seth and his business partner are approached about a potential job to do surveillance on Kayla by her overprotective dad, they are skeptical about it. It only takes one look at Kayla to make Seth take on the job. He knows that she is meant to be his but he has to figure out how to get her to fall for him too. Kayla was ready for a change and to be away from her dad’s overprotective tendencies. She ends up meeting Seth and has an instant connection to him that she hadn’t had before. Not knowing that he has been watching her, they end up having a bit of an issue when Kayla finds out what Seth has been up to. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

I loved Protecting His Curvy Girl: Book 2 of Sunset Security. Seth is hired by Kayla’s father to keep an eye on her. As soon as he sees her picture he knows she’s meant to be with him. It doesn’t feel right getting to know her when she doesn’t know who he is. What will happen if she finds out he’s been spying on her at her fathers request? Well he’s about to find out, let’s just hope she can see it was out of love. A great storyline and lovable characters. I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it, and the series.

Kayla is trying to make it on her own but her father is worried so hires Seth from Sunset Security to look out for her. The trouble is once Seth gets one look at Kayla it’s instalove for him. So he does the unthinkable by hacking into every system she owns. But when Kayla finally meets Seth she realizes he is the man for her. This is a stalkerish instalove story that is so good. Seth is an ex military with a bad leg and Kayla is younger but these two fit so well together. Good storyline and great couple. Wonderful read.

This book was so well written that I fell for Seth - hook, line and sinker! Seth is a former military guy with an injured leg. He thinks that one thing would prevent him of having any type of relationship. Seth works for another former military man who owns a security business. They protect people when they need it. Kayla’s father wants someone to watch his daughter - a babysitter. That’s not what they do. After looking at Kayla’s picture, Seth overrules his boss and agrees to do it.
Seth immediately knows that Kayla was meant to be with him. Will Kayla ever know how they truly met?.

He can’t stay away even though he feels she is too good for him. When they meet they have an instant connection. Their relationship is hot and steamy with amazing chemistry. Seth is OTT protective. When Kayla discovers the truth there is a lot to be worked through to get the their wonderful HEA.

Kayla's father hires Seth to spy on his daughter to make sure that she is safe. When Seth sees her photo, he knows that she is the one for him. After watching her for a few days he makes his move and its not long before they starts dating. What will she do when she learns how he came to be in her life? Will she give him a chance?
This is a great story that will draw you in from the first chapter on. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I found this story to be very creepy. I understand attraction at first sight, but love? How can you love someone you don't know anything about? And, watching someone through their television, computer, or phone? That's considered stalking and is actually illegal. How she could sleep with him so soon after meeting him without knowing anything about him just baffles me. And to do so without protection is just stupid. I don't recommend this book or author and don't plan to get any further books from her.

This was definitely fast and OTT. But I really liked how Seth was an awkward, nerdy guy. Especially since it seems like a personality trait and not a left over effect of his military service. And I like how Kayla was stepping out on her own and figuring out her life outside of her overprotective family. Of course now she has an overprotective suitor. But at least she gave it a try.

This is a stalker/obsession story. No creeps found here. I do not condone what the MMC did, it's sort of a gray area but he knows what is right and that is what he did. In the end, the FMC loved him even his obsession, he is a good man after all and remains so.

This was a really good book. I really enjoyed the connection and chemistry between Seth and Kayla. Seth is a protective possessive alpha male with a sweet side. Kayla is just trying to let her life with a very protective father. These two were really sweet together and even though Kayla and Seth start out as a lie and have some ups and downs, these two get a really sweet HEA.

This was a really good book. I really enjoyed the connection and chemistry between Seth and Kayla. Seth is a protective possessive alpha male with a sweet side. Kayla is just trying to let her life with a very protective father. These two were really sweet together and even though Kayla and Seth start out as a lie and have some ups and downs, these two get a really sweet HEA.

Protecting His Curvy Girl is the second short story in Sadie King’s Sunset Security, and jam-packed with overbearing, dominant and seriously sexy ex-military men. I liked the flow of the storyline, and the character portrayals were genuine, intense, and passionate. I’m looking forward to the next in this thoroughly entertaining series.

Seth is hired by Kayla's overprotective father to keep Kayla safe. One problem, who is going to protect Kayla from Seth? He becomes obsessed with Kayla from the moment he sees her picture. Protecting His Curvy Girl is book two and a great addition to the Sunset Security series. This is a well written, instalove romance with likable characters and a great ending. I look forward to reading the next book in this series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

An instant attraction over the top story. Seth had an immediate attraction to Kayla to the point of stalking her to keep her safe. Kayla was wary of guys after what happened to her sister. Seth made her feel safe and protected. A fast paced read with some well meant lies by a shy but over protective hero trying to meet and keep his soulmate safe. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is a totally awesome read. I loved the characters. I got pulled into this story right from the beginning. The storyline was really great, the romance and chemistry were good, and I really loved the ending. So worth the read.

While his method of courtship isn't great, he only wants to protect her. When they meet in person, Kayla soon falls for him as well. However when it all comes out, there is hurt feelings. I like how Seth wins his girl permanently and how Kayla gets her dream.
