Revenge was in Wade's heart, burning his soul and he would do anything needed in order to seek it, even using an innocent woman. But what happens when revenge is replaced with love and lies are replaced with unvarnished truths?

There’s a lot to like here, it’s well written, exciting, filled with adventure and mystery with great characters and interesting story points. I enjoyed this book.
5 ⭐️s= Perfect story, exciting, engrossing, well developed complex characters, solid plot with few to no holes, descriptive environments and place settings, great mystery elements, realistic dialogue, believable reactions and behaviors, loved this story so much I’d buy it.
4 ⭐️s= Great story, highly entertaining and enjoyable, exciting storyline, well developed characters and settings, a few discrepancies but nothing that can’t be overlooked. Believable actions and reactions, realistic dialogue, a book I would consider buying.
3 ⭐️s= Good but not great story, noticeable discrepancies, grammatical and or spelling errors, undeveloped characters or unbelievable behaviors but still readable. Nothing majorly wrong with the story, just not interesting enough for me to continue. Would not buy the book.
2 ⭐️s= Not offended by the story, but not interested enough to finish. Unbelievable characters, poor writing, many mistakes, big holes or discrepancies, many spelling or grammatical errors, characters not believable, unlikeable or TSTL.
1 ⭐️= Offensive, extremely poor writing, horrible characters, victimization, gaslighting, blatant abuse, unnecessary violence, child endangerment, or any other highly objectionable behaviors by Main characters. Would never buy this book, and do not recommend it to anyone.

This is a well written book with a cast of strong characters centering on Wade and Alys. The author does a great job building the story and pulled me in, keeping me turning the pages as fast as I could. She paints her scenes perfectly as she brings Wade and Alys together. It's an intriguing story with secrets and revenge, anger and anxiety, truth and love. Add in the new found romance and she delivers a story that moves quickly and smoothly and is a terrific read. Loved it!!

Wade had wanted revenge for what happened to him, he though he was in love once, but when using an innocent in Alys his feelings become more mixed, is he willing to risk it all for the satisfaction of revenge? well written engaging, the story holds your attention through out, the characters draw you in and grow with story.

“Something More” has SO much potential, that it can actually spin off at least two more books. The chemistry and the storyline combined gives it a true twist of fate. Along with a sense of being apart of something bigger. Wonderful Read.

What can I say? I love revenge tales and especially ones where nothing goes as planned but the comeuppance is still served, very, very cold and best outcome of all—you find a love of a lifetime.
This was really good! Even better at the end! These two, Wade and Alys, deserved to have something more to compensate them for all the hurt and anguish that was dealt them by selfish & greedy people! They got a happy marriage and more kids to go with the 1st one!
2.8⭐️ This would have been a much better story about revenge that turned into “something more,” if the editing problems had not been prevalent throughout the book. Having to endure countless missing words and wrong words (e.g., quite instead of quiet), really, really, annoyed me. Nonetheless, the MC’s, Wade and Alyse were extremely likable characters.
Further, while I won’t divulge any material facts that would represent spoilers, I contend that the whole explanation involving some major chicanery is fragmented, vague and very far-fetched. In fact, the recounting of the relevant past events is just confounding. I’m still trying to figure some things out, although the answers I seek are not really there. This aspect of the story is a pivotal point and, as such, there should be no unanswered questions for the reader—it should be crystal clear.
In all, the book has merit, but it's marred by nonexistent editing and even the most basic proofreading effort. Also, as I said in the foregoing paragraph, something that plays an integral part in the story and that essentially ties everything together, is too murky and obscurely characterized to be effective. A good rewrite with necessary details added and an editorial intervention would probably cure these issues. Hence, my very disappointed rating.
