I’ve been doing self work since about 2011. Outside the Bible there has been a small collection of books I would say have really influenced my journey towards healing. I have NEVER had a book speak so clearly in a way I understood without having to re read stuff. I call these books top tier, not to represent just my experience in reading them, but to say they end up on my top book shelf for easiest access, because they will be that crucial in keeping me aligned. This book is one of those, and uses not one, not two, but several life principles I ALREADY USE that are crucial to me in seeking balance. I can’t recommend this book enough. Be prepared to continue to study either all or some samurai principles, chakra energy practices and spiritual disciplines in order to fully live in the Power of 7.
I grew fond of this book once I let go the fact that it is so historically and geographically inaccurate. The lessons are good, but the masters’ using modern analogies, such as TVs, in a warring-states period Japan environment was a hard pill to swallow (perhaps being a fellow martial arts practitioner played against me this time). I would have loved if the lessons were more than just a conversation though, perhaps more like a guidance would have been more interesting, as the MC would have arrived to the conclusions himself, and thus, the lesson would have been more profound. But I still think that if you are willing to let go of the details and focus on the story there is always something to be learned.
It is an inspiring tale of Hitoshi Tabata, who grew up in a small traditional village, Shakuji of Japan.
It’s a story about an ordinary man who strives to become the best version of himself. The writing style is captivating and easily understandable for the readers. It was an amazing read for me, the odyssey is thriving and inspiring.
The book offers profound lessons. It provokes deep thoughts while reading. For me, this book is a guide to a happier life and effective ways towards transformation. It also highlights the willpower, the fire within the heart to become the highest version of oneself.
If you’re looking for an inspiring tale then this book is for you.
The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari meets The Last Samurai.
With native-level descriptions of Japan, Chu entices us into the feudal Samura era. Toshi's story is relatable, apart from the sword-wielding, and his journey provides us with specific techniques to unlock blockages in our life that can help us reach our Supreme Destiny - when what we love is what we do.
The location settings are nostalgic, and one particular quotation is emboldens the heart.
The target applicable market of this book is broad and written for broad distribution of age, gender, race, and geography.
I was able to finish the book in a few sittings. I look forward to reading further books by this author.

This book teaches the path to improve your life and live it to the fullest. Believe in yourself and leave the fear and the trama of the past in the past. Always choose love …not fear.
What could have been a good story turned into a bit of leap frog and towards the end, became a convoluted theological take of the human condition. It didn't really work for me. And in the end the bad guy wins ? ! Right...nothing like racing to a red light.
I enjoyed reading this.It was very informative about the life of a Samurai. It told of there skills and mindset.I recommend this to anyone who is curious about the lifestyle of a Samurai.
