This is the second book in the Exposed Desires Trilogy. If you like dark romances you'll enjoy this book. It was very emotional and well written. The characters were amazing together. This book was much more intense than the first book. After much ado they finally get their HEA. I received an advanced review copy for free from Book Sirens and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This is a good book with a lot of HOT and SEXY scenes. I find the author does a good job of explaining the rules of a good Dom and setting up the situation between Ryker and Mani. I do find it hard to believe that a new Dom would be the right fit for a sub who is so complicated that she has been unable to find anyone before him. Mani is also described as being a very difficult sub to handle but when she test Ryker, I don't find her childish behavior to be that hard to handle at all. While the first book in this series was a gentle look at this world, this book was the complete opposite.

Mani just wanted what any girl wants, someone who can sense what she needs when she needs it. And in Mani’s case, her moods and tastes can swing on a dime. So when the algorithm spits out an almost perfect match, Adam has hope for her yet.

By Ryker doesn’t see himself in that role and doesn’t take on long-term contracts like Mani needs. Though, the pull to that life is strong. So what happens when morals and feelings get involved while Ryker’s being paid to be there?

Ryker and Mani get their happy ending in this stand-alone book in a series.

This author is great at taking the happily ever after to the last minute. I almost thought Mani would just have to go through life as bad as it was for her. And while it was teased who would be next in the series, I hope at some point Sebella gets her HEA for all that she does there.

This is book two of the Exposed Desires series following after Say Red. Where we meet Mani she is Adams best friend and business partner from book 1. And Ryker who refuses his Dominate darker side. Mani is a genius but she is also so complicated in her kinks that her hedonistic self depreciating attitude means when her kinks are being made and met,she can maintain a reasonably healthy and productive life. But even with Adam and Mani's algorithm being used at Arrangements Inc. They still hadn't been able to find the right Dom for Manis many proclivities. She didn't just need her submissive side tended. She also had needs other things that the usual Doms they had all tried to tend to her. Had failed.
This book was amazing and eye opening in a truly great way. Gwen day is such a good author for how she writes about people and their kinks. Its not all about the sex, which I might add she makes it hot. Its the couples connection and their desires and their mind set ,wishes and hang ups too (shibari joke intended) 😉 .

I quite enjoyed this book.. I was happy to read about Mani and the Dom who melted her heart. Ryker was a Dom at heart but had repressed those urges and desires until Mani and Adam’s new software outed his deepest desires. Matched with Mani, Ryker will learn how to be a Dom and how to unravel the mysteries of Mani. I thought this book was sizzling hot and really liked these two characters together., Though this is book 2 of the series, it could be read as a standalone but having read book 1, it does make a lot more sense. The only thing throwing me is that the pronouns are sometimes wrong (i.e. his instead of her). Hopefully the author will have this fixed prior to the official release of this book.

This was an interesting story. Mani is a sub who has special needs and she has never found a dom who understands her. Ryker has been tested as a companion and he matches what Mani needs. We are taken on the journey that Ryker as to do learn to be the right type of Dom as he has reined in and denied that part of his needs. This is beautifully written and the emotions that are brought out between Mani and Ryker as they learn to trust each other is magical. Wow! What a captivating read! It was so wonderful to see Mani get a Dom that can handle all sides of her, even if he doesn't think he was up for the task. They are perfect together! Fantastic, panty melting steam level. Was great to see Adam and Rebecca from the first book visit this book as well.

This is a series you have got to read. Filled with angst and plenty of hot hot hot ! Mani is one with many needs in order to please. She feels no one person is able to fulfill her needs to fill complete.

I knew this wasn’t going to be my typical bdsm love story after getting to know Mani as a secondary character in the first book of this series, but I was looking forward to how the author would handle her complex submissive needs.

The build-up and sexual tension between the two characters was well written. Definitely not a fluff piece with lots of lust scenes and fluffy storyline. It’s a slow build-up but worth it. A great opportunity to learn more about the intricacies that can go on in a proper D/s relationship.

A great look at the ‘taboo’ side of the lifestyle and the psychological layers some people deal with. Definitely not a storyline I had come across before.

The only downside was all the grammatical errors, switching of third-person to first person (sometimes within the same paragraph and often the wrong gender) was distracting and annoying.

Looking forward to the next book in the series!

Really hoping Sabela and Jakob end up with a book together!

This book.. made me so happy! I’m not even sure what I was expecting when I started it but I’m sure it did not come close to what I got!

Mani, our resident scientist, has so many sides and needs to her.. I was shook in the best way possible reading about her reactions to certain things. How she turns full sloot(nothing wrong with that) to a child to make things easier..
I really just loved reading about this side of a submissive because no one really goes into it like this.

Ryker.. had his own demons and watching him work through those was altering.. I’m happy he was able to get the love he deserved.

I highly recommend this book if you want something quick, flirty, emotionally wrenching!

I wanted more - that’s my only downside! More!

A really good second book in the series. We already know Mani from Say Red, but now she is front and center. Ryker is a long-time companion for Arrangements Inc., but based on his profile, he has to adapt and train for a new role. The algorithm says he is a perfect fit for Mani and her long-term needs, but can he embrace his dark side and adapt. The back and forth between the two main characters in this book are well written and I appreciate Gwen's style of writing.

I am looking forward to the next installment.

This is book 2 in the exposed desires series. I absolutely loved the 1st book with Adam and Rebecca and I was looking forward to reading about Mani and this book is sooo good. There were parts were I wanted to ball my eyes out poor Mani. I devoured this book as quick as I could and I can't wait for book 3 to come out

Loving this series. Mani is complicated and Ryker is hiding behind vanilla. As Ryker runs through a new test, his kinks are revealed and he is a match for Mani. As he develops as a Dom, he fights feelings og guilt. Mani tries really hard to be a good girl. This book was amazing! Mani was an incredibly complex character and Ryder helped both of them through the changes in their new relationship and dynamics. While this was not a really realistic story it was spicy and explored various punishments as part of BDSM. Overall a sexy and sensational story!
