The only textbook written for undergraduates by teachers of the course, this bestseller presents the most current concepts in an experimental context, conveying the excitement of scientific discovery, and highlighting important advances while providing unsurpassed pedagogical support for the first-time learner. The new edition is thoroughly updated, including most notably the new chapter on innate immunity.
And overall great book, but fails when trying to give detail, without actually explaining what is going on. The pictures and descriptions make it easy to understand. The text is terrible at explaining experiments. Thank God for colored pictures.
Good immunology basics. Images, Language, experimental data, references etc are well organized and easily understandable. But not much details are given on concepts. Hence excellent book for undergraduate studies.
Fundamental immunology textbook for beginners as well as first level of advanced learners. End of chapter exercises are good. But if you want an advanced textbook, go for Janeway’s Immunobiology. Kuby is definitely the first choice for any biology student though.
