It was okay…😅 I was being told the kinks more than shown them. I really REALLY wanted to like this. 🥺 The other books in the series sound interesting tho so maybe I’ll have better luck with those.

Monster fucking. Explicit. Like you have been warned several times, very little plot, a whole lot of fucking.
Which brings me to my issue. Lycaon basically kidnaps Brianna. She's fine with that. My problem was that even in the fucking, she didn't really get a choice out of it. It was the dominant Alpha's way...or the dominant Alpha's way. And she even calls him out in the fact that he evades her questions, but he does the ol' one, two, here's some dick and she doesn't pursue it.
He didn't accomodate her kinks/wants. He just tailored them towards his needs and that was it.
And I mean, I get the whole being called a toy/slut/whore but mix it up and actually have a good endearment once in a while and after care her! Ata maji hakuonjeshwa 😂
Pet peeve that I fucking hate that lead to a missing star, dick that is re-writing human anatomy. Hurts so good dick.

I don't read a lot of plotless romance, but Harpie has a way if being the exception. There is just enough of a plot to worldbuild and make the characters seem real to make me happy. But it really is non-stop playtime. Which was well done and kinky.

The description states there is little plot, and I have to agree that it's a true statement. While I liked some parts of it, I didn't care for others. The daddy thing doesn't work for me, I wish that was stressed more in the description as it was very reoccurring. Besides that, it moved hella fast... And I think that is part of the lack of plot. I would have preferred more plot with the amount of time that passed in the book and epilogues. Not bad but could have been so much better.

Okay, it's not the longest book you'll ever read but the spice comes thick and fast from the offset and sweeps you away immediately.
There's a few typos but nothing too agregious. I would have appreciated a less rushed introduction to the universe but perhaps that's addressed in an earlier book?
Overall, a nice spicy short that makes me want to read more by this author.

Wahrscheinlich ist meine Bewertung etwas zu gut, aber nach den letzten richtig schlechten Ebooks war das hier gar nicht mal so übel, auch wenn es ziemlich stumpf war. Hier geht es um eine dystopische Welt in der Monster zusammen mit Menschen leben. Die menschliche Prota, Brianna, kann an so gut wie nichts anderes als Sex denken und verkauft ihren Körper daher mehr als gern in einer Art Bordell in dem sowohl Menschen als auch Monster ihr Unwesen treiben. Ihre nymphomanische Ader ist wirklich sehr ausgeprägt. Als der Wolf Lycaon sie für sich entdeckt, will er sie nur für sich allein und entführt sie. Brianna kann sich allerdings sehr schnell mit dieser Entführung abfinden, da Lycaon ihr einfach alles bieten kann, wonach sie sich sehnt.
Das die Handlung ziemlich stumpf und auch lächerlich ist, brauche ich wohl nicht erwähnen. Trotzdem muss ich sagen, dass gerade die erotischen Szenen ihren Reiz hatten. Es werden mehrere Kinks abgefertig, von denen einige etwas merkwürdig wirkten, aber das ist wohl Geschmackssache. Man sollte also definitiv vorher mal die Triggerwarnung lesen.
Lycaon ist extrem dominant und das auf eine Art, die ich mochte. Beide scheinen wie gemacht für einander zu sein. Auch wenn es kein Meisterwerk war, so habe ich es nicht bereut das Ebook gelesen zu haben und würde von der Autorin auch noch etwas anderes ausprobieren.

throw caution out the window
Damn I can’t even begin to describe the absolute heat of the sun that comes with reading this book. Spicy levels 15/5
The plot line isn’t important and let’s be honest anyone reading this books isn’t here for the story line. I am a little bummed it ended so soon. I kinda wanted to see them as parents. This books is filth and it definitely brought out some kinks I didn’t even know I liked. This author knew what she was doing when she plotted to throw this at her readers. I think I’ll be speechless for a few days because I can’t imagine finding a book more smutty then this one for awhile. This book took the cake and for all my monster f*clear out there. This ones for you! I’ve read pack books before but this one definitely had a tone to it I’ve never had before. Also never read a book where the mmc was super dominant but remained dominant throughout. There was no leeway or compromise. It was alpha male dominating his conquest the entire time. Would recommend to anyone wanting some piping hot steam. Hot hot hot

this definitely had a lot of stuff i’ve never read before. i’m usually not into the extreme D/s thing but i think this novella showed it well (sexually at least).
i love monsters so i knew i would like this, and i found myself really liking the heroine because she was super unapologetically accepting of her desires ? also - she was super accepting of being kidnapped and made a slave - which is how i be feeling when i’m reading romances tbh.
the foot stomping wasn’t really my thing? but the read was still good. the glory hole thing was cray cray, but the Hero found a way to let her keep doing her exhibitionist gh thing, while still being monogamous.
i’m talking a lot ab this read while it was honestly just pure smut, but it was cool !!

I saw the d*ck quote on page 9 in a book Facebook group and I knew I had read this book. This is a super short ( 100 page) paranormal romance, that is basically all spice. This book takes place 100 years after the other books in the series so it can be read as a standalone. This world takes place after the shattering and the monster and human worlds are now forever together. I do like how it talks about all different types of monsters. Brianna loves monster d*ck and goes to a monster milking motel to have fun, Lycaon is a werewolf who meets her there and knows that is his mate. Lycaon makes watches her for weeks and makes plans to make her his. This book is all spice, werewolf spice with k*nks. There is no plot with a hint of romance and the author does say this.

Monsters and humans all live together and even have fun together. Bri has been dying to have a monster take her and keep her, and now she may have that chance with Lycaon.
I LOVED this book. We have a few different types of monsters that Bri gets to play with in the beginning, but then she has Lycaon and he more than fulfills what she needs. I loved his dominant personality and how commanding he was. He's everything you'd want in a monster, plus some!
The writing was also really well done and even though the book is mostly steam, the writing didn't suffer or lack because of it.

Monster Smut
The were a lot of random information given that we didn’t need at all to support Lycaon and Bri’s relationship it added nothing to the storyline. The erotic scenes were spot on. If you are into monster smit this is the reason for you, but if you are looking for everything to make sense and get this great plot then you will be a tad bit disappointed. I enjoyed the book but the random storyline that she never completes always throws me off. Just leave them wham bam if you aren’t going to make sure you follow through with the entire plot, it takes away from the story in the end when it doesn’t have to.

After that, it became a little too repetitive and wasn’t as immersed like I was in the beginning.
I’m not sure how I feel about the “daddy” kink in this one… I’m just gonna go with a “no” but not a “hell no”.
The stomping, on the other hand… I never thought I’d find that hot, but here we are.
Overall, it was a nice short novella that’ll help me with my reading challenge. I’d like to get more into this genre but next time I’ll probably choose a book with more plot.

Firstly, if you are a sensitive reader, check the trigger warnings or read the blurb about this because you may not enjoy this.
Secondly, holy hotness this was another level!! Brianna is the best kind of FMC for a werewolf. She has no issues with her sexual appetite and knows what she likes in the bedroom (or any room).
The actual plot/ story is minimal but there is enough to provide good flow throughout the book. Just know the focus is on all of the adult time 🔥🔥🔥.

Monster Milking Hotel, where you can be whatever you want to be and do whoever you want to do. Bri meets the dark and mysterious alpha Lycaon who snatches her from the hotle to be his play thing. Well- more than that. He wants to mate and breed her and keep her forever. Delicious right? This short and VERY smutty novella was so much fun to read. If you love knotting and breeding this is for you! All smut little plot. Plot is smut. Smut is plot. You will also get some good laughs in because of Bri's brat nature, an ogre butler who plays dumb and the mini tantrums Lycaon throws.

Well prepare you vibrators. It quick and spicy and a little rushed but that's the point. I actually really liked it and would recommend for a spicy ride.
