Samhain is approaching. The past draws closer. A reckoning is coming.
Avery and her coven are looking forward to celebrating Samhain, and the townsfolk are preparing to honour their ancestors with the Walk of the Spirits.
But then Ben disappears from Old Haven Church, leaving no clue as to where he may have gone.
Panic-stricken, the witches and their friends widen their search, but when they can’t find him, they have to accept that he’s somewhere else—somewhere their spells can’t reach.
When part of the town vanishes, they realise that their lives and the town’s future are in danger.
Their ancestors reach out, desperate to help them—if they can.
But what has happened in their past that is having such huge repercussions on the present?
With every hour that passes, the risks escalate. They need help, and they need it quickly, but it means they have to find their familiars…
Wyrd Magic is the biggest and most twisty action-packed mystery in the series yet, filled with your favourite characters and lots of new ones. You won’t put it down!
I'm a writer, a pagan, and a witch, and consequently love all things magical. I write fictional books about witchcraft and the paranormal, and they are jam-packed with fabulous characters, colourful settings, plenty of action, and lots of humour.
I was born in England, in the Black Country, but moved to New Zealand in 2006. I lived near Wellington with my partner Jase, and my cats Sacha and Leia. However, in April 2022 we moved again! Yes, I like making my life complicated… I’m now living in the Algarve in Portugal, and loving the fabulous weather and people. When I’m not busy writing I read lots, indulge in gardening and shopping, and I love yoga.
Confession time! I’m a Star Trek geek – old and new – and love urban fantasy and detective shows. Secret passion – Columbo! Favourite Star Trek film is the Wrath of Khan, the original! Other top films – Predator, the original, and Aliens.
In a previous life I was a singer in a band, and used to do some acting with a theatre company. For more on me, check out a couple of my blog posts. I have also written a blog about how I finally became comfortable about calling myself a witch. It's called Leaning into my Witch.
WOW, that was amazing, I couldn't put it down, I sat down on the sofa at 3 this afternoon, and only took a break to eat my tea. I am just lost for words, I really am, it was so good. I loved every part of the book. T J Green is such an amazing writing, and the stories just keep getting better. Going so far back in the past to meet their ancestors and the introduction of the familiars was very interesting. I love the way the story is told from points of view of all the characters now, and the jumping between all the character the way you did, kept me reading. The characters now feel like old friends and love learning more about them and their lives and adventures. I am wondering about Briar and Caspian, is there something brewing there!
Another unexpected twist to white haven't witches from the beginning to the end. The witches learn of a new ways to embrace their gifts and enhance what they already have in order to beat the enemy causing havoc on their town. Well done!
I love the White Haven Witches series but in this, Book 11, I think Ms Green really outdid herself, the book is scary, really gripping and such a thrill to read, as it is full of magical lore and set during the run up for Samhain. Weird things were going on in White Haven but when Ben one of the ghost hunters disappears everyone starts to take note. He is taken through time and space by a wizard called Tiernan who is out for vengeance. He has Wyrd, one of the three fates, working with him and he is trying to destroy the future of White Haven and not just for the witches but for everyone. He is the twister of fates and destiny. Strangely enough El's aunt turns up out of the blue and Alex's father arrives from Scotland and the coven realise that they might be there to offer extra help. It seems the ancestors had summoned them and were also sending their totem animals to their relatives as these would be a great help to them. It is exciting to see how our witches bond with their new familiars who provide such strength and wisdom in their time of need. It is also great to see the whole coven working together including their visiting family members, Helena and two of the Nephilim. This book keeps one on tenterhooks and just cannot be missed. Enjoy, I know I did!

Wyrd Magic – fabulous book in the amazing series of White Haven Witches by TJ Green. In my opinion this is the best so far but I said this after each and every book by TJ Green. All the main characters are back with new depths to their personalities and talents – it is like meeting again with your best friends and learn a lot of new things about them.
TJ Green’s imagination has no boundaries and this book is, as always, packed with myths and legends based in the beautiful Cornish countryside. It is fuel by the celebration of Samhain and the past meeting the future. A book of friendship, family, values and believes mixed with crime, thriller and adventure in just right doses. Once you start you will not be able to put it down so make sure you have plenty of time and remember you have been warned. If you have not read TJ books you are missing so much from your life I feel sorry for you. This author is amazing and her work is absolutely outstanding.
I love Wyrd Magic – an amazing book of magic, mystery and witches in the modern times. Highly recommended book, series and author.
I love the White Haven Witches and think that Wyrd Magic is probably the best book in this series that just keeps getting better and better. TJ Green writes fast paced, detailed action full of incredible, believable yet otherworldly characters. She has her finger on a very magical pulse. Wyrd Magic introduced new concepts, including spirit animals, to the White Haven coven and gave us more history about the Cornish settlement, particularly the spectacular Raven’s Wood. There were times of real fear and panic for the characters as they fought to save their town and their friends from a twisted, time warped threat. Also we learned more about some lesser characters such as Stan, the town Druid, which was delightful. A fantastic book, I can’t wait for the next instalment but in the meantime I’ll have a pint of Skullduggery please.
This series of books are all about magic and witches and covens but I'm almost positive the author is from a very secret coven.... how else can she instil so much magic in her prose? How else can she keep us all so captivated, drooling and biting at the bit to get another of her books? Magic I say, magic! A spell is cast and it's one that doesn't lessen with time, heck, it only gets stronger! So, yeah, I'm convinced, TJ Green is definitely a secret magic weaver! The twists, gee whiz, the twists! Once more we get strong diverse characters, once more we get an incredible plot, once more we get our brains blown. Whoa! Not literally guys, she's a GOOD witch who wants and does deliver a story to completely surrender ourselves to, characters to love, mystery to capture our imagination, and creativity that stands out like a flower in full bloom! See??? Magic.....Awesome read!
I am always so excited when TJ releases another book in the White Haven Witches series. I have read all of her series but the WHW are my favorite even though honestly none of them disappoint. Once again she has created a book that keeps you glued to the pages from start to finish. I felt like I had slipped into my favorite pjs on a chilly night when I sat down and reconnected with my favorite coven. This episode introduces you to more of the witches family and has lots of page turning suspense and drama. I am always sad when I reach the end and know I have to wait for the next book to take me back to White Haven for another adventure. Thank you TJ
I loved every single page of this book! It took me way out there and back again, and I felt as though I was with a WHW, and living the crazy ride too. TJ has a talent for drawing you into the storyline and making you feel as though you are part of it. Samhain, familiars, ancestors, witches, Wyrd Magic has it all, along with drama, mysteries, time slips, Dryad, Ghost Ops, and more! All the ingredients for a blockbuster book. I didn’t think it could get any better, and yet, it has! and I can’t wait for more. Five stars all the way.
This series of books is thoroughly addictive! There is so much going on, so many threads (in more ways than one) to follow, such great characters, storylines, magic and mystery. Once you start reading, you just don’t want to stop. I honestly thought that Stormcrossed Magic would take some beating, but Wyrd Magic has succeeded. I love the introduction of new characters and the continued growth of those we already love. There are some lovely tender moments amongst all the action and I loved the ending. Now the long wait until the next instalment!
Have copious amounts of Chamomile Tea to hand. ☕️ Or wine 🍷( that possibly may deter you from reading due to alcohol induced sleepiness!) At least one box of tissues🤧 Something to chew so as not to grind your teeth away or bite your tongue🍬🦴 Your favourite sweeties to keep to the very end! 🍫🍫💝🍩🍪
This book is outstanding. This book is thrilling. This book is bursting with adventure, intrigue, love, and Magic!!! There’s nothing -nothing that should get in your way of reading this in one sitting and then re-reading it again immediately! It’s exquisite. My emotions are shot. That’s why my review carries a health warning!! F A B U L O U S 👏👏👏 TJ Well done. X

Wyrd Magic is book 11 in the White Haven Witches series and it definitely is collection worthy. Per usual, TJ Green keeps her characters sharp and in full form with their absolutely delightful personalities, even the ones you love to hate or can't wait to roll your eyes at. This one has our faves working overtime to once again save White Haven and even has a few of the extra friends if you know who I mean scrambling a bit as well. I just love when all the ingredients to a blockbuster come together and gives me a lovely journey into a world that I can only dream of participating in because yes the world building and characters all have that much depth to them. Definitely family friendly with extremely mild language alert. Wyrd Magic is one of those books that you will catch yourself becoming completely immersed in with its fast pace and never ending intrigue. i cannot wait to see where they go next and I know who I am rooting for to be the showcase of the next one!
The White Haven Coven preparation with August festivities, including all the tourists that have come to experience the paranormal being reported. Stan ensuring decorations are tip top in all the shops in the town, making sure all his favorite shop owners are ready for the crowds. All is well until someone lurks from the past to steal away the future of our favorite White haven Witches. Just in love with each of these characters and what diversity each one brings to the forefront. Avery and Alex's love is growing stronger and stronger. Briar's giving up on love and sending her boyfriend off in the distance. Shadow and Gabe relationship sparkles in all the right places. Love seeing Caspian accepting he has friends, and how important he is to them. Each finding their familiar and fighting the man who wants to take it all away. It was hard to put this book down, so inspiring. It's onto the next in this 14 book series.
The "Wyrd" is one of the three ancient muses. Her power has been incorporated into an evilness that threatens the village of White Haven just before the Samhain (Halloween) festivities. The Occult Pursuers (OP) have been trying to gather data and pictures of some unusual activities, when one of the group (Ben) suddenly vanishes. He was setting up cameras in the Old Haven Church cemetery and then was gone. His OP partners are distraught as are his friends in the White Haven coven. Then a city councilman who regularly dressed up as a druid for the holiday also disappears. A peculiar mist begins to appear on a local mountain and where it touches the village, the town itself begins to disappear. The coven has to work against this extremely dangerous and strong source of magic as they discover that it involves time shifting.
What a ride!!! TJ Green has knocked it out of the park! I absolutely loved this book!!! From the first book in this series I have been hooked, they just get better and better. I love the characters and with every book they become more exciting and endearing and the storylines draw you in and keep you involved throughout the stories. Each book is like catching up with friends and having an adventure together. So many amazing characters and the spin-off series’ are just as exciting. Once you start, like the rest of us, you will crave your next fix! Start reading tonight, you’ll be glad you did. TJ Green, you are truly a fabulous writer and my favorite author and I can’t wait for your next release!
Well TJ Green has excelled herself again, i have read all the White Haven Witches books and this is without a doubt the best one yet. I couldn't put it down.
There is so much going on and you get to find out much more about all the regular characters plus the introduction of new ones as well. It has drama, emotion and laughs as well. The ending leaves you wondering where the storyline is going next, its definitely left with lots of potential ways to go.
I can't wait for the next book, do yourself a favour and start reading the White Haven Witches series, you will not be disappointed.
I received this book as part of the author's ARC group and am so glad I did, it was fab! Avery, Alex and their coven and friends are looking forward to Samhain but then something weird happens which leads to an enemy from their past. Can they find a solution to save their home? If you like books with witches, magic and all things mystical then you'll love this. The characters are lovely and draw you into the story, so much you have to read it to the end in one go - well I did! I can't wait to read more about White Haven and its witches.
The 11th installment of the White Haven Witches series is its longest volume to date, and does not disappoint. New story topics include time travel and witch’s familiars (or animal totems.) Most of the large cast of characters are included, and a few new people are introduced. It is a fun adventure taking place as Samhain (Halloween) approaches in the small coastal British village. This continues to be one of my favorite series for “comfort” reading. I can’t wait for the next volume and the launch of the new spin-off shifter series. Blessed Be Ms. Green.
TJ has done it again with this newest instalment in the White Haven Witches series. It's nearing Samhain, a time of endings and renewal and when the veil between then and now is at its thinnest. A wizard with an ancient grudge has travelled through time to exact revenge of the descendants of those who he believes wronged him. Help for the witches arrives in the form of family and long forgotten spirits. This is my favourite book of the series so far. It is jam packed with intrigue, heartache and some epic battles. I couldn't put it down. 10 Stars !
What an amazing new book to the series, an adventure for the characters and the reader, the witches meet a new challenge , and along the way discover more to their magic, discover more to their past and fight again to right an evil . more involvement with the Ghost hunters and a marvellous new insight to Stan our honouree Druid. you will be gripped from start to finish not wanting to put the book down. a most superb author roll on the next.
T J Green has done it again! Fabulous and . Seeing a part of your village disappear into the mist.... scary The White Haven Coven needs to fight a vengeful past wizard who has made a pact with Wyrd to take revenge on the Covens ancestors. Ben is taken, then Stan to towns "Druid" . They need to connect with these ancestors and work together to keep White Haven town where it is in time and geographically! This is a wonderful read for anyone who like magic and myth,
Wow!!! What a fabulous time!!! The interaction between the characters, the amazing scenery, and whoa! THE MAGIC! This book has it all and is a perfect addition to the series. Once again TJ has proven she is T the top of her craft and I for one am sooo grateful for her hard work. If you love good books, well written, fat paced, never a Full moment, and history woven with magic then READ THESE BOOKS!
This is a wonderful addition to this thrilling series! Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable. Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story. Such a thrilling read that I couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read more of these. Recommend reading.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
White Haven has to be a brilliant place to live. It has witches, shifters, fae and more. I feel like I’ve gotten to know them all and I thoroughly enjoy reading TJs books. This book is the best so far with just the right amount of excitement, twists and turns, favourite and new characters. I didn’t want to stop reading but also didn’t want to finish it and I look forward to the next instalment with anticipation.
I love this series and it gets better every book! Complex but understandable story taking White Haven into the past, learning more about the witches' families, new skills, new relationships - what a ride. I especially like the story being told from different people - and the (spoiler alert) spirit animals - they're all so real to me now I want to meet them. Buy the whole series 😀😀 I can't wait for the next one.
I've read all of the books in this series, and every single one is better than the one before it. Not because the writing improves, it is because the world of White Haven expands in each of the stories. And this one did not disappoint! I love how the time lines follow the wheel of the year, and that the characters all evolve. This one is the best so far. I cannot wait for the next one!
Another continuation of the white haven witches. This time they are fighting a sprit from the past. When Ben goes missing from the mausoleum in the grounds of the church they have no idea where he has gone..but when part of the harbour disappears and then returns The coven start piecing together what could have happened to Ben This was another great book and can't wait for the next.
adsolutly brilliant, tingling thought her every word, this series, is a wonderful experience
Fire and flight , fear and wonder, These story’s are all linked, to get the most enjoyment, read from the fist book, All her books are frantic told with fire and fear passion and heroism. So much in such quick thinking fast paced story line, and getting to know the characters , Just wonderful, you feel you are part of it , adsolutly brilliant
I liked this book because of the characters but the plot got a bit circular and there required a good bit of wordy explanation to figure out what was happening at certain points. Interesting to tie-together urban fantasy and folklore themes. Would like to see more urban/present day settings and topics in these books. Some of this series has had them and those seemed to flow better and require less complicated explanations. All-in-all, still love the series and the White Haven Witches!
