this was another strong entry in the Warrior Shifter series, I enjoyed the previous two books and I really enjoyed reading this. The plot worked so well and did what I was hoping for.

This series has everything!
It's a dark fantasy romance. The FMC is Latina and is looking for her shaman so she can complete her transformation into a jaguar (nagual). If she doesn't, she'll stay in her jaguar form for the rest of her life. This series will keep you in suspense and it will tell you about the journey of Sasha to find her shaman (which won't be easy). It's a slow burn, but it keeps you wanting to know more. Inside the series, you'll find topics related to horoscopes, the moon, the sun; you'll also see vampires, the mafia, magic, fated mates, found family, and more. You'll also see a little spice 🤭. I recommend this series if you're looking for something related to the zodiac.

Prophecies – can’t live with them, but you can’t change them either

Upfront, I will acknowledge that I have not read books one and two. For most of this book, it did not present a problem. If you have not read the earlier stories, you play catch-up on the world and magic system. Luna does some minimal explanation while focusing on newer or more powerful magics and beasts, so you are not left floundering. Likewise, when the characters reference their historical stories, you are left to infer the crucial details of Zodiac Prison. These items explain the principal’s emotional reactions to current events.

In this story, told from two points of view, you spend the entire story with the presumption of terrible guys after the main character is radically and rapidly perceived to be a catalyst for everything that the good guys fear. The fleeing your new antagonist’s motif allows the author to introduce you to many new places, people, and experiences that frequently are the source of rapid increases in skill, strength, and knowledge. It also means there is no shortage of action in this story.

I enjoy the new to my world of the Zol Stria and the Dark Zodiac. I will be going back and reading books one and two¬¬¬¬ so that I can meet the main characters before their maturation as young adults and get the backstory on the discovery of their gifts and their education.

Here we are on book three and I am in love with this series! This one is my favorite. You know when you get so far into a series that characters who you think you've figured out surprise you with their actions.....well hello Zodiac Prison.

I feel like as Sasha has to make some drastic decisions we are seeing and feeling all that she does. I was so lost in this story (in a very good way), that I wasn't ready for it to be over quite yet. I won't spoiler it but some characters that I was attached to broke my heart and each one in a different way in this book.

I love the family dynamic that the Jaguars have. It gives the all for one, one for all aspect so deeply. Now the dark Unsol King himself is described as a fine specimen and I am here for all of that!

I can't wait to see what the next book holds for Sasha! Thank you so much R.C. Luna for allowing me to be part of your street team to read this amazing series!

This book was absolutely fantastic! It follows on pretty much after the second book in this series ended and was very much a rollercoaster of a ride.

When a vision reveals something devastating for the Zodiac Fae involving Sasha, she has no choice but to run! Luckily for her, her team fully backs her up, but when truths and secrets are revealed Sasha finds herself both heartbroken and in a very precarious position that she has no idea how to get out of. These visions before have always come true - will this one be the same or will Sasha find a way to change the future? With so much and so many relying on her to make the right decision, she is truly torn as to what that right decision is! But ultimately does she even have a choice?

Full of action, heartbreak and loyalty, this was a great read and highly recommended. I can't wait to see what happens to Sasha now in the next book!

OMG! What a Read!

Seriously just when you thought things were settling down a little and her rekindled relationship with Trent seemed to be going well BANG, another chapter opens, secrets are revealed, betrayal which cuts deep.

A prophecy reveals she is the mate of the Dark King, the one due to arrive who is evil. With her Shaman and her Nagual team they try to run and hide to protect her but betrayal catches up with them and she is imprisoned to get her ready to accept her fated mate.

What an emotional third book, some of it touched my heart and I gasped at others, traitors are revealed and all is not as it seems until she has no choice but to mate with the Dark King.

I CANNOT wait for the last instalment, what an amazing series this has been!

I also adore the family dynamic of the Jaguars — their fierce all for one, one for all loyalty brings so much heart to the story. There’s heartbreak, there’s loyalty, there’s power, and it all blends together beautifully. Honestly, this might be my favorite book in the series so far.

I’m so ready for Zodiac Throne — to see Sasha’s powers, her bond with the Dark King, and the final pieces of this incredible, twisted, addictive series come together.

Sasha learns so much about herself in this book including that she is the reincarnated mate of the UnZol King. Once allies have now turned to enemies and Sasha finds herself and a few trusted friends and allies on their own as Sasha tries to navigate her way through her newly revealed fate.

There are a few surprises, heartbreak, and clear determination. Sasha is faced with a difficult choice to make but with her chosen family at her side she is standing up for what she believes is the right choice for everyone involved. Looking forward to Book 4 to watch Sasha shine in her new role.

I love this series. I love Sasha. I also love reading about diverse characters. In addition, I loved the writing. It is very lyrical and the world is magical. I loved how Sasha shape shifts into a Jaguar. I also loved Damian. I liked learning about the different gods in the world. I loved the ending. I can’t wait to read the last book of the series. Some can say it’s bingeable book series as the books are short and very fast paced. I loved each and every single book that I have read before. I can’t believe I’m on the last one already. I can’t wait to read it. Overall, a great series/book.

When you're here, at the third instalment in this series, you definitely have made a bond with the story and its characters otherwise you would be gone. So with this premise, the story get even more interesting after the end of the second book, and you'll get to see things accelerate. An interesting follow up, but still some timeline troubles for me to think the book is 5 stars...

Wowzers - If you thought book 2 had some twists and turns then prepare for book 3 to go to another level of twisty turnyness! All of which leads Sasha to question her beliefs and perspectives up to now . . . This highlights that we all only know what we know at the point in time that we’re at in our journeys through life, with the information and experiences we’ve learnt/had up to that point, but there’s always more than one side to things and more that we don’t know - until we do! All is not as it seems, nothing is just black or just white and Sasha receives information that challenges her views/thoughts/beliefs up to this point. She has to process it all to try and work out what’s truth and what’s false, whilst having to make decisions that literally will be the difference between life and death - will she make the right choices . . . ?
Great action scenes, intrigue and continuation of the increasing bond of trust and connection between Sasha and her nagual family. But also betrayal and heartache along the way. There are some heartwarming scenes interlaced and some heartbreaking ones. I was actually more sad at the second one of the latter tbh 😢
There’s so much to love about this series and the way it continues to expand, to build on the depth and drama, not to mention learning more about the intricacies of the Zol zodiac system ✨ And if all that wasn’t enough, on top of it all, like a juicy cherry on a mouthwatering cake, the UnZol king comes more into the picture 🔥 phew! 😁
As with the previous books, it’s written with intelligence, depth and maturity and I loved it ♥️
No cliffhanger ending, though it’s an interesting one (which I was rooting for 😘) so I’m eagerly awaiting Zodiac Throne because I’m sure it’s going to be an epic conclusion 😁

Sasha proves again how strong and badass she is. We could all learn a lot from her tenacious spirit. At times her impulsiveness gets her into tricky situations but she never gives up. The worlds Ms Luna creates for us are spectacular. Sometimes they are filled with beauty and sometimes cruelty prevails. Whichever it is, we can see them, feel them, and be inside them with the characters in this book. The team around Sasha (her chosen family) are revealing more of their personalities in this book and I imagine they will continue to do so. There are some surprising twists and some heartache and sadness, but I cannot wait to find out what we will step into in Book Four.

Definitely my favorite book out of this series so far!! I did not see any of this coming at all in this book! Very interesting journey to the underworld, with an emotional rollercoaster along with keeping me on the edge of my seat suspense. This book had me guessing who is good and who is bad? Who you can trust and who you can’t trust! I devoured this book writhing one day because I couldn’t put it down. I just had to know what was going to happen next! I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Sasha and the path that she is being led onto!
