What’s better than Paris in Springtime?

Sounds like fun, right?
Not so bucking much!
First of all, the gang broke up. Yup. Mike had enough of Maren’s waffling and split. Then Bev suddenly got ansty about going to Salem and high-tailed it like her ass was on fire. Which should have been the first clue that Salem would be bad news.
The second harbinger was getting car-jacked by a geriatric Oracle with so-called visions of dire destruction. Pearl insists that not only would the witches in Salem face fire and death, but so would Mythicals, mankind and even Mother Earth herself.
So, what’s a pair of middle-aged witches to do? Head straight into the belly of the beast, of course.
To say that the issues they face are straightforward is the understatement of the year. Hell, it’s a tangled mess of lies and intrigue, involving a coven, ghosts and treachery. And some laughs, of course. And loyalty, wonder and yeah, love.
Witchfest is the final book in the Witch Way series of two middle-aged sisters reconnecting in a cross-country trip, emerging from the ashes of their lives like proverbial phoenixes. Except, they’re witches and those ashes are infused with magic. A tale of ordinary women thrown under the bus who emerge stronger, coming into their own power.

I can't believe its the end already
I'm very disappointed the way the story just ended I felt like there is no closure. I know how hard it is to end the story but feeling there was more left only to get a unexpected book. Normally it would be ok of it wasn't the final story

No! I want to follow them further!
Great story! And Earl? I knew it! He is way too conceited. I want more of this group! Bev riding along. And more adventures learning their gifts. Then seeing them come into their own and an epilogue that lets them find their future with their lives. Earl deserves a kid. And does Josh ever learn the truth? What about Marens son? How does he handle it. Don’t tell Amy! Where did the aliens go? Wasn’t there some feelings there to explore? Need some closure here because I loved this one!

What????
Uh, where did the rest go? They were leaving the men for a bit, I figured there would be some adventures, and then they would be together, everyone happy. Instead, the book ends at 52%. 52%!!!! Who does that? Free book or not, I expected more of THIS book.

The ending was a big disappointment.

I just couldn't get into this story at all. I read the first few chapters and then read the last two.

As a collection, it deserved 5 stars. Fun and engaging.

October 7, 2026I am kind of sad the series is over but.... it is time for a break from the sisters and is a good place to stop and let them rest in to their new lives.

This was the 4th and final book in this series. A lot of new characters in this book and a crazy adventure for Maren and Kara desperately trying to find out what it means to be "witches in full" I was disappointed to see this series end and have to say goodbye to these characters but it did end in a very satisfying way. Good book.
