I read this book to help shape my view of discipline in Kids’ Ministry and how my team and I can use moments of necessary discipline to continue to shepherd kids toward faith and love in Jesus and BOY is this book helpful! So practical and filled with gospel truth and encouragement!

There are some really good methods in here. But it was really hard to get through because it was pretty dry. If you've taken one of the Discipline that Connects classes, there's not really a lot different, more real life scenarios are in the book. The examples were helpful but also kind of over the top and semi infomercial for their courses. Also, I struggle with having so many stories from their own kids. I understand the why, but tt feels like an invasion of privacy like when an influencer uses their kids to create content.
