The book is beautiful and it has alot of good information I just wish the author included resources for further research or cited sources

One thing, I want to say first is that there is just one thing (in a book I generally liked) that irked me. It is thing that irks me in a lot of Pagan/Witch circles. That is the Maiden-Mother-Crone triad.

That is not an ancient concept that existed in any Pre-Christian European polytheistic tradition. It comes from the 19th century, by a man who put all women into the narrow confining categories of young virgins, mothers, and old women. I feel this is an incredibly misogynistic trope that badly needs to die in the Pagan/Witch community because it isn't ancient, and it puts women into narrow patriarchal categories, that women should escape from not embrace.

This book gives an overview of different types of witch traditions. It gives a good overview of each practice and talks about how one can advance in it along with numerous spells. But the book is careful to remind people not to be strictly in one tradition, it emphasizes that witchcraft is a very personal practice, and you can combine different types, or even ignore aspects that don't feel right for you.

I feel this book is good for someone who needs an overview and introduction into the different types of magical practices.

Personally, I felt most connected to the kitchen, cottage, and cosmic witch traditions. And guess what? I can mix and max as I choose. Witchcraft is about finding a path that works for you and goes with who you are and what you are drawn to. Among many other things.
