I probably made a big mistake by starting the Power Rangers comics from the Go Go Power Rangers series. The Book One was fine, it could be read on its own, but reading Book Two was like catching a film on tv in the middle of it. So many off panel things happen in this book that felt like the rest of them previously happened in the tv show or Might Morphin Power Rangers Comics series that you were supposed to know...

Never the less i enjoyed reading some more Power Rangers. The issue that dedicated to Bulk and Skull was my favorite. I really enjoyed that issue in the Go Go Power Rangers Book Two Deluxe Edition. Trini, Jason and Zack's secret deep space mission was exciting. It was hidden from even the rest of team and Zordon and Alpha. A really Top Secret Mission which was given to them by a misterious Ranger called the Blue Emissary. I liked how Blue Emissary changed into the costumes of all kinds of Blue Power Ranger, none-stop. Trini, Jason and Zack even quit being Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and chose successors for themselves. (i don't know these new three teenager characters who succeded Trini, Jason and Zack , i saw them for the first time in the book.) Trini, Jason and Zack became Omega Power Rangers in the end of the book for their new deep space mission. And an alien girl name Kiya who was saved by them previously as a part of the deep space mission also became an Omega Ranger and joined them. I really liked Omega Power Rangers Costumes.

Tommy lost his Green Ranger power and then became the White Ranger. White Ranger was my favorite ranger when i was watching the show on tv at junior high back in the day. Zordon's former helper Alpha One reappeared and turned against Zordon because it seemd it was rebuilt bunch of cirsuits missing. HA HA Especially in the head... HA HA Rita Repulsa got captured by Zordon off panel and there was an issue dedicated to rehabilitation process of her in her cell which was also somekind of holographic room that made Rita live the lives of her victims. It kind of didn't make sense because how could they record the entire life of each and every victim of Rita to the point of their deaths in the hand of Rita ???? ,but on the other hand, seeing the life of your victims from their perspective until to the point where you kill them would have been davistating for a murderer if he/she was sane so it would be an really effective rehabilitation program, if it was possible.

Lord Zedd was after the somekind of misterious green dagger which was kept hidden in a top secret base. He tried to inflitrate, but his minnions failed as always... HA HA After so many failuers you thought Zedd would find new minnions, but it would seem he would never learn. HA HA I also liked how Power Rangers were aware that they sometimes fight against really silly tokusatsu monsters. HA HA Zack was complaning about how it was super emberesing to fight against a teapot tokusatsu monster and Kimberly was like ''Lately the monsters we fight get really silly, may be Lord Zedd loose his touch.'' HA HA Finster you goofball... HA HA

I really like my silly tokusatsu monsters never the less. BOOM! Studios continue to do a fine job with Power Rangers as comics.

I'm really, really enjoying this - although part of it shoves me into beyond the Shattered Grid phase and I haven't read that yet. Kinda sucks that it's split up like that, but I'll get there soon.

I hate stopping reading in the middle, so I just lived with this unideal situation, but knocked off one star because of the odd decisions here.

Overall, just as fun. Don't feel good today though so sitting up is hard so short review.

Volumen Seis: 2 ★
Contiene los especiales "Forever Rangers" y "Back to School".

“Oh yeah and sweet…PINK IS OUT!” But it’s not! Go Go Power Rangers is basically Power Rangers Year One and it's ridiculously awesome. When Alpha 1 returns to join Zordon and the Rangers, things get utterly insane. I'm talking diabolical plan crazy. Meanwhile, Rita's up to no good, trying to reactivate the Green Power coin, and she's even brought her mother from the dead for guidance under false pretenses.

So this was kind bizarre to review, not because it was mind-blowing and gave us some of the most iconic backstories in superhero history…but it's also part of the 'Necessary Evil' storyline (the next book I’m reading and reviewing next), so I guess you could say I'm getting a head start by reviewing half of the book and the short comic at the end!

I loved the 'Forever Ranger' storyline, mainly because Alpha 1 was the ultimate tiny terror - who knew such a small robot could pack such a big punch? You do feel a little bad for the guy, though, since he's been through the wringer. And then there's Rita Repulsa's backstory, which was surprisingly tragic. I mean, her mom's sacrifice was basically the ultimate act of love, and it's pretty ironic that Rita ended up as the mistress of evil thanks to her dad's influence. But what really gets me is how much Zordon actually cares for Rita, even after she's gone full-on evil - it's like, dude, you're a powerful being, can't you just stage an intervention or something?

The short story, “A Ranger in the Making”, provides the backstory of TJ and Cassie from Power Ranger Turbo and Space, and it was fascinating to see these two favorite Power Rangers as middle schoolers, with their heroic beginnings and origin story.

Overall, book two still delivers a heroic punch and is a fun read, making our superheroes more relatable and human, which is a testament to the authors' creativity.

As someone who only knows the bare facts about the Power Rangers and hasn't watched any of the TV shows, I found the first volume easy to follow and understand. This volume however wasn't the case. It started out just fine and picked up where the first volume left off, but a third of the way into the book there was a sudden shift to a year later. It appears that major events between characters, such as Tommy joining the team and then going through a major crisis of endangering his fellow teammates to make him want to leave. Plus Rita Repulsa disappears to be replaced by another villain. Those are major events that I was only able to pick up bits and pieces of as they are referenced later. It would of been more useful to have seen those major storylines played out on the page.

The copy I had of the book did have some printing errors as well where two separate 5 page sections were repeated right after each other. But that seems like too small of a section to have potentially lost out on such large plot points.

The content is good, but the amount that this book double dips with the Necessary Evil Deluxe hardcovers is absurd. Boom absolutely should have made a Go Go Power Rangers Deluxe that has issues #1-8, #13-20, Back to School #1, and Forever Rangers #1 (since issues #9-12 and #21-32 are in the other books already). Book One is ok to read on its own, but you can't read 21-32 without reading the other title really.

Go go Power Rangers for life! Stunning artwork and such rich backstory and exploration of some of the TV show’s plots. Loved how they played with the idea of Trini, Jason and Zack going to Switzerland!

Really enjoyed the first few issues here but if you've already read or are reading the MMPR Deluxe Hardcovers then give this a miss.

Almost 2/3rds of this are included in those books.

A bit hard to follow since it has a few carve out comics that aren’t in this edition. But still really good.
