Left Hook: "The Cage Series"

Rate this book
She was raised to fight for what was right and protect those who couldn’t defend themselves. Always knowing who she was and where she came from.

That all changed when three strangers came to her pack lands at the alpha’s request. Soon she faces the realization that they are much more than her brother’s friends. Her heart already belongs to the Vampire King and has for a long time. So the question remains, is there room for a prince or two or three?

Each is a king in their own right. Born of Honor. Forged into a brotherhood created by a one-in-a-million chance. Each patiently waited for a mate to love and protect. Though the gods had other thoughts, it did not prepare them for a petite fireball hell-bent on saving the world.

I’m a fan of fantasy but this was a terrible read. Misspellings, choppy sentences, wrong usage of homophones, start reading a new chapter and feel like you don’t know how you got there from the previous chapter, aspects of the storyline completely dropped … I could go on and on with how poorly written and edited this book was. I love strong female characters but the main character in this story was a total jerk. And the mates were completely ridiculous characters. And why have the brother/alpha mate with her best friend? I’m also scratching my head how the mates Mother even knew about the future child to kidnap her. No redeeming qualities for this book except that it’s over and I won’t be stuck reading anything else by this author.

If you like a strong FMC that doesn't really need her men. As in not the sniveling needs the big bad alphas to save her then this is definitely a must read PNR. It does contain some triggers so please be aware. The triggers however are only mentioned they aren't gone into detail.
Who or what is the legacy that she must rescue?
Who is her mother and her father? Because it's not the two that raised her.
Will the princes learn to work together and not fight over her and learn to share?
Where do the princes' mother fall into this?
