AMAZON Top 50 Bestselling Author, SJ Sylvis, brings a forbidden and edgy boarding school romance set in a deliciously dark world where the bad boy gets the good girl even when she's off-limits.
Gemma:
We were from two completely different worlds.
I was molded to follow the rules. I was the good girl living the sheltered life at St. Mary's Boarding School.
But fate brought us together. Somewhere along the way, following the rules became a choice. The lines became blurred, and I was given a taste of rebellion in a package of wild blue eyes and hot, lingering touches. Our plan was set. I would escape St. Mary's, and he would stay.
Isaiah warned me that we'd go up in flames if we veered from our plan.
Except, there was no we about it.
Isaiah Underwood let me fall right into the ashes.
Isaiah:
We couldn't have been more opposite.
I was molded to break the rules. My life was seeded in corruption at St. Mary's Boarding School.
Fate brought us together, and we formed a plan. I gave her that taste of rebellion, and she became mine. She was my kryptonite. I was her escape, and her trust was in me.
But our plan went up in flames.
In the end, my sacrifice is giving her up.
Gemma will rise from the ashes, but she'll never forgive me.
The Saint Mary's Duet Box Set is intended for readers 18+ and deals with subjects that some may find triggering.

It was really sweet and the banter between Gemma and Isaiah was so good and it made me giggle so much. The storyline was amazing and as much as I thought i knew what was going to happen i was completely blindsided. These two are my new favourite couples, characters, and people to ever exist. I love them with my whole heart. I also cried when i finished reading it. that’s how you know it was good
This duet is a great start to the series as you meet a host of characters and get an idea of them as a person although looks can be deceiving. Isiah has know what his path is all his life and when he makes choices for himself things start finally making sense to him. Gemma is thrust into this school for all the wrong reasons but it helps her in ways she never could have imagined. Can’t wait for the next book.
This duet was riveting, edgy, deep, angsty, suspenseful & complex. Dark themes with a hell of a lot of love. I went into this duet blind and it completely blew me away.
The depth of the characters and the story was simply amazing! It was a slow-burn and so much angst to dive deep to learn about each MC. Isaiah and Gemma's stories were told through dual POV which really opened your eyes to the characters thoughts, feelings & emotions.
I don't want to give too much away without spoilers. This is just a must read!
Isaiah and Gemma grew up very, very differently yet had similar pasts. Isaiah the bad boy. Gemma the good girl. Attending the same boarding school brought them together. The complexity of their relationship lies deep within themselves and each other and is so so much more than being two teenagers attending school.
I'm not sure who I love more..Isaiah or Gemma. Gemma overcame so much and watching her fight the truths of her past and her strength was powerful. Isaiah had so much heart, it just took Gemma to break down those walls. They fought for themselves, they fought for those they love, they fought for each other. Their individual stories have a lot of trauma but through each other they found the strength to keep fighting for the love they found.
