Book 5 and I am ready to be done with the series after the next book. Not that they are in anyway bad books it’s just there is getting to be a lot of repetition at this point being used as filler, if I hear one of the guys say “I can smell your arousal” one more time I may actually throw my kindle at the wall because it’s been at least 100 by now and WE GET IT 😆

There hasn’t been much change in the relationship dynamics since the second book, I am sad about callas bff and hoping for a redemption arc in the final book because I did actually like her for the most part.

If you like quick easy reads that contain a lot of smut and weirdly timed spicy scenes then you will love this series through and through. It was mostly the vampire aspect that appealed to me going into this but the plot follows the standard dynamics of every vampire book / movie in history so nothing much new here. Just enjoy it for the RH and spice if that is your vibe!

I’m pretty ready to be done with the series 😂 I’ll finish the last book but it just feels like I’ve been reading a lottt of the same stuff. Sex sex new house. Talk about serious stuff, atlas and calla chap at each other but everyone loves each other and then we have some more sex. That being said I do kinda love these characters and hanging out with them. I wish there was a littllleee bit more depth to them but in general I do like them as characters. So I am still having a good time but it’s not like begging me to keep reading at this point.
Also could go for longer effects of a lot of stuff. Like calla changing is pretty settled already. Calla killing is pretty chill at this point 😅

This series is not greatly written and really needs plot. And the characters are pretty much point by point every other RH buttttt I’m having a good time 😅😅 so that’s kinda all that matters. I also this this being my first PRN book is making me like it more then I might have if I’d read better PRN books before

Okay, look. Are these books *good*? No. The writing is screaming for an editor, the plot is thinner than my patience, and the boys are practically parodies of RH tropes at this point. But hey, it's a fun way to kill an afternoon every few months, trying to remember where the hell you left off; and give a shit about the inevitable predictable cliffhanger.

Nothing more frustrating than the last book not being out already when there’s a cliffhanger. 3 stars for plot, I practically skipped all the smut cause it’s very repetitive and boring. At this rate I just want to read the last book for closure haha.

Fang Club.

I'm really loving this series! Never a dull moment.
It’s a dark paranormal story about vampires vs. hunters/humans, and it's deliciously funny, spicy, and completely unmissable.
Oh — and those beautiful MM moments? Simply wonderful! It’s love everywhere. LOL.

Our FMC is the heart of the story, but with the exception of the first book, the rest are written in dual POV. Each book gives one of the boys a turn to share their perspective, which helps us understand and connect with them better. In this one, it’s our lovely, grumpy Atlas’s turn.

The books aren’t long — it’s like watching an episode of a TV series. The author doesn’t drag things out, but she also doesn’t rush. Even when something totally unexpected happens, it feels well-paced. Sometimes, the plot throws you into a moment where a big decision needs to be made, and it happens quickly — but it makes total sense.
I often found myself thinking, “Wait, seriously? This is happening now? …Okay. It makes sense.”

And then there’s that cliffhanger... it left me screaming, “No! Why?!”
Each book ends with a completely different kind of cliffhanger — the last one had me outraged, but this one left me in disbelief and sadness.

I can't wait to see what happens next.
While I hope the final book will finally give us a sweeter, happier ending (fingers crossed!), I’m already feeling a bit melancholic knowing the series is coming to an end.

The plot just got so much thicker, and the spice even more spicy 👌🏻
Did I expect that? NO! Aaargh, whyyyyy!?!?
And can we talk about Calla's big decision?...I mean, yeah, me too, girl, me too. I totally expected that, and I'm happy that's what she chose. Honestly, I didn't see that going differently, I mean, who would not? 🤭 I love that Atlas was the one to do it, too.
I am so freaking curious to know what happens next, so I'm off to the last book in the series, sitting on the edge of my seat. 👀

As always this series has me in a chokehold. This is book 5, and we FINALLY got some Atlas POV.

Calla made her choice and decided to stay with her vampires making the ultimate sacrifice. I continue to love Calla. She’s strong, funny, resilient and becoming really protective over her guys. She’s gone through so much and still continues to rise to the occasion.

Getting Atlas’ pov was everything. We finally get to see inside his head and how he really feels about Calla. Kade continues to be my favorite, but only squeezing by the others by a hair.

This book was funny, action packed and the spice was *chefs kiss*.

I don’t want the series to end but I’m really looking forward to the conclusion…especially after that cliffhanger!! Read this series, you won’t be disappointed.

After being given an ultimatum to have her memory wiped or become a vampire, She has to search her heart for what she wants to do. Calla is truly coming into her own and starts to truly shine. This book had me on the edge of my seat. That ending almost had me crying because the next one isn’t available yet. Couldn’t stop listening to this book. That is one heck of a cliffhanger. Out of all five books this has been my favorite and the Atlas point of view was pretty cool too. Narrators are phenomenal! I love listening to them.

With book 5 comes even more connection to the guys who have made her a part of their world.
And with that comes more problems between hunters and vamps including their fight to the death....

Well this book like the ones before is at its ultimate cliffhanger- cannot wait til the release of the next book. Need my fix.

Enjoyed this story. With the right amount of chemistry, splash of lgbtq flair and the supernatural.

This is the fifth book in the Blood Oath series. Calla has chosen to stay with her guys. We finally got a POV from Atlas. Getting to know his thoughts and feelings was everything! This series has been a crazy ride for sure. I can't wait to start the next book. This book ends on one heck of a cliffhanger. Bridget and Jake Bordeaux did a fantastic job narrating this book.

This series just keeps getting better and better. And now, with Atlas's point of view!!!! He is my absolute favorite and so hot. I was at first a little hesitant about some of Calla's decisions, but in the end I understand the situation she was in. I just devoured this book. And am immediately starting the next one. It does have a cliffhanger but its a good one.

Man the Yorks are horrible for giving the ultimatum however I love how she chooses on her own. She makes an amazing little vampire. Audiobook Review:
The Bordeauxs have done it again! I'm so glad that J.A. Carter + team brought on Jake Bordeaux to give voice to the MMCs after Blood Oath #1. Bridget Bordeaux does a fantastic job giving Calla a unique voice and voicing the MMCs when the book is told from her POV, but differentiating the MMCs speaking to her. Bridget's way with the steamy scenes, whoo HOT HOT HOTT! 🥵🌶️

Novel Review:
The end of Blood Oath #4 leaves Calla with the ultimatum made by Atlas' parents (the all-powerful York Vampires) to either be glamoured to forget Atlas, Kade, Lex, and Gabriel or become a vampire, and she has one month to make that decision. Blood Oath #5 (told from Calla and Atlas' POV) explores Calla grappling with this decision and arriving at her choice. Meanwhile the guys, their informant Marcel and his team, and Calla try to find a way to make peace between the vampires and the hunters. I love the character development we see in this book with Atlas and how he interacts with Calla, shares his feelings, and lets go of the reins a little bit. Of course, there are pleeeenty of RH steamy scenes and some MLM action. The novel ends on a cliff-hanger of a showdown between Calla and her BFF Brighton Ellis (the daughter of the "head" vampire hunter Scott Ellis whom we are introduced to in previous books).

All I can say is FINALLY!! I have been waiting for Altas’ POV since I saw the second book introduced one of the vampires to us. Atlas will always hold a special place in my heart! The other three vampires took to Calla way easier than he did. He fought their connection knowing the power she could hold over him. Man was this book ever worth the wait IMO!

Calls has come to terms that these four vampires mean more to her than she ever could have fathomed when she was first come to learn about the blood oath. But when the old and prestigious vampires have a different opinion on what her life should mean, she’s forced to look at mortality in an entirely new way.
