An intimate book of poems written between two worlds, Europe and China, Floating Petals blends cultures, perspectives, art forms that do not often mingle.
"The author’s capacity to blend, in his verses, very distant cultures, comes primarily from his travels, and from his experiencing ways of living and thinking that are almost opposite to one another. The subtle inquietude of a slow decadence in Western tints dilutes in the candor of an Eastern dawn and flourishes in pages of ink on rice paper." — Amerigo VerardiShifting between a confessional style and the elliptical forms of Asian poetry, Floating Petals takes you on a journey within its own complexity and transformations. In this new, extended edition, travel impressions, natural snapshots and Asian mythology brew together in profound simplicity, retracing the delicate and meditative interplay between the elements of a tea ceremony.
