A teen boy competes to inherit the knowledge of an ancient race on a world where magic is real, and the fate of the world hangs in the balance.
After successfully competing in the International Tournament of Champions, winning second place overall, Aiden is now poised to explore the Divine Territory of Alilahat Nuwr, reaping riches from the Aether infused secret realm. What he finds there, though, challenges his knowledge of the world. Can he learn what the Legacy of the M'Zee is, and will it help him save the world of Zemia?
I am an Air Force Veteran and graduate of the Air Force Academy. I have wanted to write for the entire of my adult life and finally decided to just do it.
I went through this book far too quickly. The action and the progress that the characters go through was exciting to read. Now I just have to wait for book 7.
On another note, it was a little annoying that this book wasn't on Kindle Unlimited much like the other books in the series. BOO.
I continue to enjoy the series but not as much as the first couple of books. Things are getting kind of repetitive. Every couple of chapters the MC and his friends endure some kind of extreme pain to help their cultivation. Then they are amazed at how much either and how fast they can cycle it. Then they do something else that causes extreme pain, and they are pushed further. I was hoping for something new. Also, the MC is too much of a Mary Sue, or whatever the male version of a Mary Sue is called. He has 3 women lusting after him, but he is waiting for marriage. That makes this one of the worst harem books of all time. Everything he does is selfless/noble. That isn't bad it is just I wish it was a little more realistic. Overall though I am still happy with the series.
well by now if you have read the prior 5 you would not continue unless you enjoyed the previous books. it takes a bit to get back into the story when you have read the prior ones as they came out and read many books inbetween but i also do not want to encourage the author to spend a chapter recaping what has happened already as that seems like word padding in many instances readers could just go back to the last book and skim it... so i enjoyed once again and this is a new and fun twist to the already good story. keep it coming author i will keep reading
Right this book I think generous and gave star rating did for it. (Was hard to get through)
Found the love harem and when ever they talk to each offer unpleasant cringe read.
Enjoyed the increases in mc cultivations especially at end of book was good read and items got not bad maybe too many though.
Please have him upgrade his core runes already he been saying needs do this for a few books now. (Not even used one principle gave him way back.)
The conversation had with spirit in about 84% was cringe & childish really if that way book going I'm out will not buy anymore. His morality and goals seem very stupid Greedy childish I don't know ?
Mc needs do more alone it was great in hear when did shame he so dependent on others now that can't do alot alone anymore & dear god no please to joint techniques he is already too reliant on others as is. And please stop with harem romances as it just does not work with this story.. At least not got advance weapons that would not work anyway any gathere/cultivator would easily block, dodge extra or just not work on them anyway unless so OP would make book pointless to read and boring to boot.
Question. (Author. ) #. Body Tempering belive is blood vessels - Organs - arterys - bones - muscles - skin. What's mc at now.? & what happens after completed.? #. Elementals Tempering. So little know about mean what's max level can get to and what happens then.?
Finally thank you for releasing this in KU especial.
Currently my favorite series. And this was a wonderful edition. The series hits most of the high points for my favorites. Discovery strength growth Exploration. I'm also a fanatic for crafting though this book doesn't have as much there's always hope for the future. This book of course adds more to the history of the world Even though it doesn't Fully explain the premise for the wars fully It does explain more of the history of the world within the context of the war. We the raiders get to learn a little bit more Abilities Current and in the past. In the future a mixture of both maybe achieved. The main character of course it's the catalyst, the hero of the story, For these old ideas to be brought forward and to push personal power and the power of those around and forward. The storm of war is still brewing Of course and That was why he was brought to this world. Not just to fight the war himself but to improve those around them so that they are a little able to fight as well. It is enjoyable to watch the MC grow in power and knowledge as well as watch him improved those around him. I look forward to the next book and I hope the author is comfortably on his way though I prefer him having a good finish product than rushing it.
First off, on the whole I enjoyed the book. This was mostly the crafting sections and the history of the M’Zee. I will read the next book in all likelihood. I think I am being generous though with three stars.
Issues, this is a short book for a yearly release. It was slow to get going. The characters I didn’t feel developed much further, if at all. The four way relationship got way too much plot time. It’s sad they are calling it love when what they describe is a good breeding partner. I ended up skipping those sections as well as the food cooking. It was dull or uncomfortable reading. Finally, It felt like 40-50% of the book was about his insides! I accept this is important, BUT it was so repetitive and I want more plot than the same stuff. I can’t escape thinking it felt like a lot of lazy cut and paste… I am hoping the next book gets back to more of the early work of crafting, inventions, making money, politics and intrigue, maybe buying and creating his own estate. Please anything, outside of Aiden’s body.
Anytime romance is added to a book it starts to go to shit. Especially when the protagonist acts like a YA idiot. I just hope the book doesn't get worse than this.
Six books in and that "best friend" from book one is still pissing me off, but that is kind of understandable because of his age. But the protagonist is far older than him, and behaves way worse sometimes. Also, where is my magical engineering? Half the book is already done. Ugh.
This protag is such a martyr. I really hate these "friendship is magic" YA books. Where someone being your friend means they are behind you 100%.
You are literally the only person who can save the world, you die and the world has no chance. "Would you take damage possibly for your friends to get stronger?" "Yes".
Meh. Will read the sequel. These kiddie books are really unsatisfying.
Very well written cultivation and body refinement iseiki. The MC and his team level up, defeat trials and assist each other in growth. They know that a war with chaos is approaching, after the Illyrian conflict, so thats two major conflicts on the horizon.
Once again, an engaging and fun read. The MC has 3 girlfriends, but is resisting intimate relations with them, though I cant remember why. At least his friend Jon is getting some. Way to go Jon! Life is uncertain, so we should seize the day. Marry all three already.
Anyway, this is an excellent series. Looking forward to the next installment.
I enjoyed the story. But the dialogue is definitely cringe. It's perfectly fine for middle school level, but the rest of the story doesn't pair with the writing of the dialogue.
This book would have been several times better with more mature dialogue. I'm not talking NSFW stuff, but just a bit more adult maturity in what was said. It came off as very cartoony and cheesy, actually making me grimace as i was reading.
Also, there is some formatting issue with the text changing color. Around the time when the team gets to the realm, or just before.
In my opinion the story is declining. The MC and party is constantly bombarded with prizes and advancement that would make the king jealous, with never having to suffer any kind of setback or struggle that isn't extremely short lived. Combined with his constant goody two shoes act and the fact that pretty much the only people that don't fawn over him are blatantly evil, really puts a damper on the story.
If you have got this far in your hooked on cultivation fighting alchemy world building and a buding romance with three women yes it has at last got to the point that hes dating at least three, and no steamy scenes this is a quite wholesome relationship not a filth novel and a good take on wha a caring male role model should be, i would even let my mother read this. Only downside if got to wait for book 7
Aiden is challenged by the tournament as well as his teammates as well .
Aiden an his teammates are given an area to harvest plants and defeat beast collect their cores an other parts of their bodies Meat and etc. Grow as a team an advance individually as well .But most of all win the tournament at all cost for the school and empire . An Aiden must learn to save the world an prevent the destruction of their from chaos .recommend reading excellent series .
It's probably me because my taste in the books has changed. But I found that the first two thirds of the book a slog to get through. After that it was great. I will keep reading this series. And definitely enjoyed the first five books. So I don't mind highly recommending the series
This was good. I have been reading this series since it first dropped and it has only gotten better. I feel like this book is the tipping point into what will be the heart of the story. If you enjoyed the first 5 entries then you will love this book as it has the best aspects of those and more. I can wait until the next book comes out!
OK I wasn’t in love with having to buy this book but I will say that your series has been excellent this whole time. My only complaint is that book number seven isn’t waiting for me to pick it up. This has been a great story line to follow, and I can’t wait to see how it continues to evolve.
I was really anticipating this book eagerly and felt let down by what felt like unnecessary padding with the Bruno dungeon. The book did get better but it never rollicked along like the earlier volumes. Perhaps I am spoiled by wanting more story per page. Still I shall certainly be waiting for book 7.
This was a long time coming. I cranked it out in a day out of sheer excitement. The progression still hasn't felt rushed. The story progressed naturally and there were quite a few surprises. Such a good read!
Every single book in this series has been excellent. This time is one of the very few times in my life that I have slowed down reading a book just so I could savor it. Looking forward to the next one.
I absolutely love this series and this latest book did not disappoint. One of the best aspects I enjoy is how detailed and rich the descriptions and processes are for cultivating. It’s truly wonderful to read.
Lots of action, no dull moments. Three women? Just a fantasy to make it work. But I did enjoy the story even if I did have to pay for the last one. Eagerly waiting on book seven.
Enjoyed the next adventure with lots of action and development. Parts of the tower trial dragged a bit but skipping a few pages didn't distract from the story. Fun tonsee the team grow so much.
This series is really amazing! You get all of the great features of an LitRpg novel is a awesome new way. The characters are funny and interesting. This series wraps you up and takes you on a great adventure. I can't wait for the next installment!
I still like reading the storyline. For me, this is the end of the series. I think that if the author goes further than this, the next book would be too repetitive to read.
Great addition to the series. The characters continued to be flushed out and advance, not just the main character. The addition to the backstory was a great addition and answered many of the plot holes created in the earlier books. Can't wait for the next book.
While there is an advancement of the main story this is a bit of a pocket episode where most everything happens in an ‘instanced’ zone. Fairly short but a good deal of development
This continues to be a great series. There are things that are intentionally naive, but it is part of what makes this such an endearing story. Look forward to the story to follow.
The series continues to add and develop multiple characters while staying true to its core character. Can’t wait to see how things develop in the next book and the next direction the series takes.
I am really enjoying this series. The main character is a bit corny at times, but he’s 21 so that actually makes sense. Who expects maturity out of a college kid. The overall story is well written and really enjoyable.
I had forgotten about this series and was thrilled when I received notification of publication. Looking forward to the mc’s journey through cultivation!
