This book was a total genre jump for me, and it was well worth it! My favourite books are ones that take you into the story before you know it, that make it easy to read page after page until you finish the book without realising what time it is.
I found the characters complex and well written, the story matched the character, it was exciting, stomach churning and far more realistic than a Bond story. :)

Bought the book and finished it quickly. Very well written so it was easy to become immersed into the story.

I enjoyed reading this book. I was able to get a lot of information from it. I highly recommend this book.

Enjoyed the book greatly, bought it off Amazon on release, and got into the detail of the story straight away.

“…then he cocked the pistol and fed a round into its chamber….”
You don’t normally “cock” a Glock without simultaneously feeding “a round into it’s chamber.”
You do not “cock” a Glock on an empty chamber and THEN feed a round into it’s chamber. Not usually.
The Glock does NOT have an external hammer.
“…Conor was twitchy and rested his finger on the trigger rather than alongside its guard….”
Wow.
That thing has a tricky trigger, and could just go off…all, like,
BANG!
And stuff.
Like.
Oh…and parts of this book are exceptionally confusing to me. And obscure. And seem author-centric.
As in, TOTALLY FOKKING NOT CLEARLY EXPRESSED AND/OR UNCLEAR TO ME !!!!!!
OH…AND WHAT THE FOKKE IS IT WITH WOMEN BEING EVERYWHERE, AND SO FOKKING CAPABLE and POWERFUL and COMBAT-READY ??????
GADS — I WISH I WERE A WOMAN !!!!!
OR TRANS !!!!!
(I THINK the day may soon come when a woman is looked to, to lead and inspire a bunch of “men.” )
THIS BOOK IS STUPID. I QUIT READING AT page #220 and trashed the book.

I found the detail to be the best part of this book, it helps create an immersive world that allows the reader to become part of the story. It was fast-paced, engaging, and suspenseful. I was blown away by the author’s ability to write such phenomenal scenes. I can't wait until book 2 is out

Enthralled from start to finish, brilliantly plotted, felt the author has carved his own space within the action/Spy thriller genre and with a contemporary backdrop. Highly recommended.
