I’ve always been a sucker for bully romances, especially ones involving the “bad boy” so I was super excited to read this. I grew up reading my fair share of Wattpad books with essentially the same storyline so this book was pretty nostalgic for me. However, this is a high school romance and they were extremely immature to a point that it was kind of hard to read. I’m also really sad that it ended with a cliffhanger because I don’t plan on continuing to the next book. I absolutely loved Asher though and I did enjoy the fact that the main characters actually hated each other at the beginning.

This was a great high school bully romance. I enjoyed the character development and how it added to the story. I have a love-hate relationship with the cliffhanger. I love the conflict at the end of the book but I hate that I have to wait until March to see what happens. I would 100% recommend this book!

No. Just no

The book had an extremely unnecessary cliffhanger and a drawn out closing. Ben was way too much of a jerk for me at the beginning and once I finally started liking him Tessa became a literal idiot. I never want to read a book even similar to this again. I will be crying myself to sleep tonight.

One of the best high school bully romance books. Tess and Ben will always be in a place in my heart. One thing I loved about this story is that the writer also gave a good story to the side characters. This made me feel like I am also in the story. Connected

Then the roller coaster of emotions, I have no idea how many times I hated Ben only to love him hard in the next chapter. I enjoyed this story, and I can't wait to binge-read the second book.

Let me start by saying words can not, and will not be enough to explain on how much I love this book. I loved the character development, the enemies to lovers trope, and how the author was able to touch some certain themes in the book.
I would 100% recommend this book to anyone looking for a nice, quick read.
Also, Kudos to the author!

This was a great read! It's a roller-coaster of emotions while you read. I wanted to smack them both, laugh with them and cry with them. The female and male leads are both well written. I would definitely recommend this book.

If you loved Kissing Booth and To All The Boys I've Loved series, then this is right up your alley. The whole story follows the characters through their last year of high school.

I hate that cliffhanger, but Benny and Gracie have my heart. If you want a palate cleanser after some heavy dark romance, this is it.

Enemies to lovers
Slow burn
Angsty romance
Kisses and more kisses
Hate to love
Bully romance (this happens in only ⅓ of the book)

Need the second book

It’s me second reading of this book and it’s still as good as the first time. I know it’s a little cliché with a story that goes from bullying in high school to lovers, but the author delivers it great with real teenagers life worries and a lot of emotions. The cliffhanger at the end is taking our breath away, but it’s a good thing the second book is already out ready to be picked up where the story left us a little heart broken.

The story was a great read for me. I loved the high school bully romance of Tessa and Ben. The author is skilled in vividly painting the scenes. I enjoyed the MCs character development.
It ends on a cliffhanger, and I cannot wait to read the second book in the series!

For a high school bully romance, I thought this was a nice, quick read! I really enjoyed it. This book ended on a cliffhanger and I know some people don’t like that, but it definitely left me dying for the release of the second book in the trilogy!

This book was a great bully romance story! It leaves you on a cliff hanger and now I can’t wait to read the second one!

I love the connection that Tessa and Ben have, I really hope to see their relationship grow. There was some immature moments during the book but I feel like they fit the high school romance genre. It just sometimes made me cringe but besides that I loved the story. Asher is my favorite character and I loved how he brought Ben and Tessa together.

I would love to see more of her bucket list and what all she wants to accomplish. I also liked all her conversations with Lett, I really want the reveal for who he is ( I think I have a guess 😝).

Overall, great bully romance and a quick read that keeps you hooked from the beginning. Can’t wait to read more!

Captivating and Compelling A 4-Star Review of "Bullied by the Bad Boy"

"Bullied by the Bad Boy" is a captivating young adult novel that delves into the complexities of high school dynamics, love, and self-discovery. The author skillfully weaves a tale of a strong-willed protagonist who faces challenges, heartbreak, and eventual growth in the face of adversity.

The relationship dynamics between the main characters are both intense and raw, keeping readers on the edge of their seats as they navigate the emotional rollercoaster of teenage life. The bad boy trope is expertly portrayed, adding a layer of intrigue and mystery to the narrative.

While the storyline may follow some familiar tropes of the YA genre, the author brings a fresh perspective and depth to the characters that set this book apart. The pacing is well-executed, keeping the reader engaged from start to finish.

Overall, "Bullied by the Bad Boy" is a compelling read that will resonate with fans of young adult fiction. I rate this book 4 stars for its engaging storyline, well-developed characters, and emotional depth.

It was a really slow start, and it didn't make much sense and the characters were just all plain stupid but by about 50% I quite liked it and it got a lot more interesting. It is also very obvious who Lett is and as soon as she read the first letter it was clear. The cliffhanger and the end was just plain rude I turned the page to expect another chapter and was met with the author note. I was absolutely shocked. Even tho I don't really like it I'm still going to read the next one 🥲.

This was really good. Bully romances are one of my favorite tropes. I love to see them show their true feelings. I love Bens back story and how he takes care of Asher. Are the letters from him? I have a feeling they are and she’s been talking to him without putting everything together. Tessa definitely needs to be more confident in herself and learn how to say what’s bothering her. You break up with him because of what Olivia said? And the whole label thing isn’t that big of a deal especially when he’s shown you he’s with you. She needs to communicate better and be more confident about herself. That’s the only thing that really annoyed me about her is that she let other peoples opinions dictate her choices. And because of that she let the boy go. Can’t wait to see if Ben goes back to his old ways with Tessa.

Really enjoyed reading this book, yes there were some moments where I cringed but that's just part of the highschool trope.I did expect a badder boy(if that makes sense)but I actually love Ben's character,he has depth. Also really loved Tessa, she wasn't your usual good girl, she was actually a badass mixed in with a good girl.
Asher(Ben's brother)was so adorable in this book.Once the trilogy is done,I would actually love a book exploring his highschool experience and life with Ben.

this series is ass bro.

she’s a pathetic doormat who always forgives the guy and he’s a disgusting piece of shit who choose his GIRL best friend over HIS GIRLFRIEND. He acts all surprised main girl moved and is only “heartbroken” because when he went with his girl best friend she told him he wouldn’t have chosen him over her boyfriend. That’s when he went back to girlfriend he abandoned. Lmao this book is a waste of time.

It could have ended in one book but no there is more to it. I liked the hate part a lot cause it was actually bullying but I didn't like that there is so much unnecessary miscommunication in it. Don't get me wrong I like miscommunication trope but not this long.

Giving it a 3 because I liked atleast 3/4 of the book.

This was a great bully- love story. It ends on a cliffhanger, which many people don’t like but you only have to wait until March.

The connection between Tessa and Ben was awesome to read. The was rivalry, romance, and it was an overall fantastic story!

i read this for the vibes because, unfortunately, it was entertaining enough to keep going despite the plethora of of grammar errors, awkwardness, and just straight up weird stuff. tiktok conned me into reading this by highlighting a quote that i don’t recall reading in this book so maybe it’s in the following ones, but unfortunately i don’t feel like continuing this series to find out 💀

so first thing's first: this reads like a wattpad story written by a 12 year old. if i weren't 26 and had i read this 14 years ago, i would have loved this kind of thing, i think. in some ways, it definitely felt nostalgic, but boy am i grateful that this was available for free on kindle unlimited, because it was not good. again, it was a fun enough read for the vibes, but the quality of the content itself is extremely poor.

there were an insane number of grammatical issues, chiefly being the use of the "i will/i'll" tense in places where it should be "i would/i'd" to indicate future action or to indicate intention. the author writes a lot of "i'll rather" and it destroys the flow of the sentence and makes little sense. i'm not sure if english isn't the original language of this story, or isn't the author's native language, so i'm trying to be lenient there, but there were a lot of bizarre uses of language/wording in this story.

as for content, again, this is bizarre. i'm not sure if high schools outside of the US function differently, but the kids were in class so infrequently based on their whims and suffered no punishment for it at all. the teachers were also just complete dickheads. some teachers are genuinely just mean, but the teachers in this story felt as if they were written by someone who'd never gone to public school.

for example:
“What’s the answer?” The answer? “Theresa.” I wipe my sweaty palms on my shirt, staring at the question in the textbook like the answer will appear. “Yes? You will have no choice but to leave my class if you fail to answer,” the teacher says. That’s it. Mr. Sam hates me. Why do I have to leave the class? “Fifty-four,” Ben replies. “She can stay.”

in what world does a teacher tell a student to leave the class if they fail to answer a question. huh? and like this is ap calculus. i took ap calculus. class doesn't work like this, and no way you're going to be able to answer something on the spot. it's calculus not pre-algebra.
I slip into Ms. Eva’s class as quietly as I can. It’s not supposed to hold today, but she’s trying to make up for next week when she will be unavailable.

this is not how high school works. hello? like idk is the author not american like do schools work this way outside the US or... like college, sure. but high school? you don't just have a teacher cancel class. what.

the dialogue in this was also bizarre, and in POV swaps, it's like the characters didn't have a distinct voice at all, with ben writing "daddy" in letters as a high school senior like it's really odd.

here are some other instances of weird things that no high school actually says:
Me: shouldn’t you be in school? Studying like the rest of us single ladies??

a text to maria, but who talks like that as a teenager...
“I will pay in installments if that’s okay.”

i don't actually know how old asher is. he's in elementary, and i'm assuming he's between the ages of 7-10. what little kid knows what installments is at all, let alone to offer it up to pay for a birthday cake. like?
An angry storm gathers in his eyes, and his finger shoots up to quiet me. “First of all, Maria and I are not an item. I don’t owe her fidelity.”

daniel is speaking to tessa here and literally WHO talks like this in high school. this is one of those moments that was like yeah this definitely feels like this is a weirdly translated story.

the author was also obsessed with writing how people "sashay" everywhere like please pick a different verb.

there was so little real plot in this but it was still semi-entertaining to read. but yeah the plot is extremely flimsy, and all of the characters are irritating. maria got on my nerves with her selfishness and tunnel vision, tessa was also irking me with all her trampoline reaches and jumps, ben was a giant dickhead, olivia needs therapy, and abigail is another pick-me ass bitch too. literally the only good character is the elementary child. because what the hell was going on in this LOL.

it also ends on a weird cliffhanger and i'm not reading the next book, soooo.
