This was a quick read. I'm always going to advocate for more black paranormal romance books. We need them and their is an audience for the genre. To not give anything away, I did enjoy this read even though it was short. The characters, Arabella and Knight had chemistry together plus I enjoyed them as characters. Also I love reading about black people as supernatural beings.The only con I would say is I wish I knew this book was a prequel novella before going in. If I knew that this was going to be the precursor to the actual novel. I would've waited on reading this.The full length book doesn’t come out til October 2023(Why Belleza!! Why??). We have to wait a literal year for the whole book to come out. I'm not happy about that because I need the book out this year. Hopefully she'll move the date up because waiting that long for the official book to drop is crazy. Either way it was interesting for what we got. 4 stars.

Not disappointed at all
I have so many questions but I am so excited about this book.
Knight Knight!! I am in love with masculinity and his aura. I love that he changed his mind and did want he wanted to do.
Bella is good female character and I love that she tried again with Patrick but she knew when to walk away for good.
We know Mona would be a problem.
I can't wait for book 2. I am a fan!!

GREAT JOB!!
Although I'm not fun of waiting a whole year to read the entire story, I am here for it. I love me some Knight and Bella. I can't wait until she finds out that he's a shifter. I wonder what's up with her parents too. Like are they shifters or just a fan of the paranormal? Just saying I can see the fascination with them. Kinda which my boo was part wolf or vampire, lol!!! Thoroughly enjoyed this short and sweet story.

Hated that it ending in a cliff hanger because what happened to Arabella? Wild! And what happened to Knight?!
Both Knight and Arabella had commanding presence on page and their chemistry was pretty dang on good. Bella is a free soul. After getting hurt by her ex, she just want to make her money and chill but then she meets Knight and that all changes. After a one night stand that shakes both of them to the core....espescially Knight because in his world, wolves do not mate with humans but he wants Bella and decides to call off his mating to the wolf his father set him up with. I wonder what's going to happend there. I know his father is going to be pissed. I know Trent dirty self is th wolf going around attacking humans, it has to be him.
While I enjoyed the interactions between Bella and her family, I think too much of it on page cut time between her and Knight. The ending leaves big questions. Ugh, cliffhangers are annoying and then they talking about 2023 for the continuation....maaaannn, booo!
Anyolways, this was a quick enjoyable read. Even with the cliffhange, I would recommend checking it out.

cliff hanger
I’m not a fan of cliffhangers. I wish I had known this was a prequel to the full novel before reading. Not gonna lie I got a bit bored in the beginning and I found myself rushing through in order to finish. The characters personalities were kind of annoying to me. Mostly because in real life Bella and Knight are the type of folks I avoid in social circles. This is my first time reading this author but I do not believe I will continue up with the series. I’m sure it’s gonna be good, but it’s just not for me. Kudos to a black paranormal story though. That art is awesome

Bella is no shrinking violet! She is a free spirit and lives her life on her terms. People have to get with and adjust accordingly or get left. Knight was a beast in a good way. Strong, attractive, smart, a leader and in control of his life. He wasn’t easily manipulated.
These two are a perfect match but there is great opposition in the way including the fact that she is human and he is not and she doesn’t know this . But she is literally about to f around and find out!
Great beginning just don’t have us waiting forever for the full book or next book I guess. This was short.

This book was fire I did not put this book down until the very end I’m in love with everything so it broke my heart when I read the last page saying we may have to wait a whole year or maybe sooner it’s just too much juice so I would not give anything away but I will tell you if you pass this book up you are missing on something so just get it stop wasting your time looking for something else to read ….

What does Bella's mom know about the supernatural community because she must know something the way she's pushing the invitation on her and she has a little mystery to her as well. Bella, the love 'em and leave 'em bottle girl is drawn immediately to Knight, but why? They both lose all their good sense when near each other and it gets HOT!🔥🔥 The ending...beware of the cliffie!

This was so goooood. I thought this was a novella with how fast paced the story was moving but I am glad its not. I haven't read paranormal books in while especially with wolves so i am excited. The only thing that through me off was the October 2023 release date, i thought i was seeing things lol. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Interesting start!
At first Arabella was a bit annoying with how she was coming off especially to her mom but as the book went on and you learned more about her, she grew on me. It ends in a cliffhanger, but I’m excited to get the rest of the story!
