Officer Jolene Baker spent her youth smiling and sparkling on stage when all she wanted was to run alongside her four older brothers. It took years for her to stand up for herself, ditch the pageant life, and peruse her dream of becoming a police officer. Now that she’d broken out on her own, she could dress how she wanted, swear if she wanted, and sleep with any man who caught her eye. No matter how many tattoos or piercings he had or how big a bad-boy vibe he gave off.
Tracker hit the sweet spot in his life. He owned a thriving tattoo business, found a stellar family in the Hell’s Handlers Motorcycle Club, and had no shortage of women jumping into his bed. Seducing the town’s new female cop to extract information on his club was a no-brainer. He’d be helping his club and having fun in the process.
A woman committed to justice and sworn to uphold the law, a man who lives by the outlaw code, and enough heat to burn down the town. Disaster seems inevitable, but can Jo and Tracker find a way to avoid catastrophe?
Reading this book had me almost nervous to start. I am not always a fan of a law-enforcement focused stories. (Except when Eve Dallas is concerned, I do understand my bias lol) but I love Lily atlas. So I went in assuming that she was going to give me everything that I needed. And I was so so right.
Jo as a character I was weary of, but ended up really liking her. Did she sometimes almost brush the line of not like other girls? Yes. But I do think she did a good job of checking her self, which made it an acceptable piece of her character development. I also like that she was stubborn to a fault. I understand people who are like that. Stubborn to your own detriment. It’s a lifestyle. Me and Jo share that lifestyle. Overall I think that she made a very good heroine.
Opposite Jo we have Tracker. Who I don’t even want to say is her actual opposite. Because it’s not an opposites attract thing. I think that they had a very symbiotic relationship. It worked well for them. They played off each other, and it never rang false. Tracker was smart, not to say that Jo wasn’t, but he was capable in ways that she wasn’t, and he saw the world differently than her which I feel like helped the relationship a lot. Also he was sexy as sin. Which is always a good time.
Tracker & the club, and I include the club ladies in this, were my favorite part of this whole book. And I don’t mean that I like Tracker more than Jo. But I’m in the relationship that he had with his club brothers, as well as just being able to see the club as a whole. That found family aspect is always my favorite when it comes to this author‘s books. And it did not disappoint this time. The story of Jo and Tracker is highlighted in the forefront but we also have a longer running story in the back. Which includes some hardships for the family and a new life brought in. I don’t want to say anymore and give any kind of spoilers but seeing the shifting dynamics there were amazing. It added a level of gravitas to the entire family and not just the main couple.
As always I had a great time in Lillys world, I can’t wait to come back already, so excited for our next handler.
I cannot state it enough for the record how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE Lilly Atlas' writing style, and every last story has been utter perfection with Tracker being no exception. Jolene is a girl in a household of men who were overprotective, and a mother who put her in pageant after pageant which she hated. She wanted to become a cop just like the men in her family so finally she puts her foot down & decides to go for it. Tracker has a great life going on with his successful tattoo business & the Hell's Handler MC as his chosen family, so when he's tasked with seducing the new beautiful cop for info, well he was all for it. LIttle did he know what was coming for him, making things much more difficult than he anticipated. These two are simply HOT together but there's that whole deception on his part which you know won't go well for him, not to mention catching feelings won't impress his brothers. The moment I opened this story, I was all in making it easy to devour it in one sitting, so yeah, another perfect book from the next level talent of Lilly Atlas! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Fracking loved Tracker. What's better than an idealistic, but hard as nails female cop paired with a jaded, tattoo artist who is a member of an MC? Nothing. Tracker proves nothing's better, lol. Great storyline, that's not too dark and not too lite, and moves quickly. Jo and Tracker have off the charts chemistry from page one. The characters are wonderful. Tracker is the super playboy whose nefarious plans to get info from the rookie cop quickly go sideways and ends up with an attraction he just can't fight. Jo is the kick ass former beauty queen who has waited her entire life to pull out of the shroud of her family's expectations. Tracker's ability to "see" her for who she is clinches it for her faster than his hot body, piercings, and tattoos. Super entertaining read and great teaser for what's to come next in the series - can't wait!
⛔️ My bookshelves can sometimes be spoilers
Lilly Atlas wrote one of the first MC series I read and that lady has not let me down yet.
What do you get when you put a copy and an Outlaw Motorcycle Club Member Together? ONE HOT READ!
Tracker and Jo was scorching hot when they were together, the only thing that could and would break them apart would be when she found out he was using her to gain information for his club and believe me neither one of them were happy when that little nugget came out.
You see the Police Department has it out for the Hell's Handlers it doesn't matter what they do if something happens in their town the MC is blamed for it. So when people are dying from cocaine laced with fentanyl right away they are blaming the MC but the only problem with that is the MC doesn't deal in drugs. So that is why they want to get the new cop "Officer Jolene Baker" to give them tips on what's happening.
There is a lot going on and it's not only between Beauty Pagent Winner turned Police Officer Jo and Tracker, Lock has a major roll in this story as well and his story is going to pull at your heart strings.
If you enjoy STEAMY MC Romances, Romantic Suspense, or Opposites Attract Romances I would recommend this book to you.
4.6 stars. I’ll be honest, every time I pick up a book where one of the characters is a player, I get nervous. I just abhor OW/OM drama. Plus there’s usually this mindset of I gotta ‘get over them before it goes too far’ which is usually what starts the drama I hate. Or they just think disrespectful shit in their head about them that I don’t like either. This one though. This was done right. Tracker loves women and he’s a big flirt, but as soon as he gets with Jo, he’s a goner. He does have a few thoughts about trying to find someone else to disprove his obsession, but thankfully he immediately nixes those thoughts and just accepts the fact that he’s in and no matter what he’s gonna enjoy what he has in the moment.
I loved the plot. I loved the struggle. I loved the sex. So hot, and it had plenty of sexy dirty talk to make things extra fiery. I loved the humor and the teasing and banter. I loved the club, and the found family feels that they give off. And I really liked that ending. So cute and funny and pretty much perfect.
I can’t wait to see who’s next. It said at the end that ‘Frost’ will be coming out ‘soon’, but I have no clue who that is. I can’t remember him being mentioned anywhere, so I guess I’ll just have to wait and see. Either way, I’m for sure gonna read it. I absolutely love this author’s MC books.
This was wow. I can't believe that thus shit was happening with the MC and cops. I can't wait to see who the real bad guy is. A biker and a cop the best fucking thing ever.
Tracker was the third book in the Hell’s Handlers MC FL Chapter series by Lilly Atlas.
I’ve taken a break from formal reviews for a while, but a couple quick thoughts. I thoroughly enjoyed both Tracker and Jo. Total opposites as in an Outlaw MC Member and a cop, but similar in loyalty and wanting to protect the innocent. I also enjoyed the storyline. I wanted to see more of a conclusion with the MC conflict, but I assume the plot will continue in future books. All in all, it was quick and enjoyable.
Jo is a beauty queen turned police officer and Tracker is a manwh0re biker who has a plan to woo Jo into giving him trade secrets. Together they fight against corruption in her department and in the meantime have some hot s e x
Tracker is such a bad boy. There’s so much going on in this book, and once again we’re faced with the dirty cops in the town’s police department. They are trying to frame the MC again after tragedy strikes. I know Jinx is next….but I’m salivating for Lock’s story. Tracker is tasked with seducing the rookie cop Jolene and getting her to spill department secrets. Tracker, and really the whole Mac, detest cops and he figures she’s going to be as awful, conceited, and corrupt as the rest of department. He couldn’t be more wrong and he finds himself falling for his mark and hookup. The steam is fairly hot and I love the two characters together. It is a somewhat emotional read and you really feel for everyone. Jolene is a refreshing take on the female cop trope, because she isn’t self righteous and sees the grey in the world. An absolute must read for MC book lovers.
Jolene is a new rookie cop and stepping out of the shadow of her family, finally living her life instead of the life she is expected to live. Tracker is supposed to just use his charms and Jolene is his target. Wow, I could not put this book down, such an incredible story. Highly recommended and I loved all the characters.
~~~~~~~~~~Julie's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review~~~~~~~~~~
I can’t say enough good things about this book. Great writing with a storyline that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Jolene finally broke the mold and now that she has her freedom, she does as she wants. Tracker is all about his club. He will do anything for them. It might just cost him the only woman for him. Great read.
Ends on a HFN. There was no grovel. She's a special snowflake who sees the good in people despite everyone else in her precinct only seeing the bad. There's no closure with her family. No idea why they fall for each other either, they hardly spent time together on page before she found out the truth.
Romeo, Romeo…. this Romeo had to work a little harder for Jo’s affection, especially after the initial deception. I was rooting for you Tracker!
This series is just so good for my MC loving heart. You get a bit of everything, MC, intrigue, a little violence and a lot of love. When these men fall, they fall hard.
Ya'll know that Lily Atlas is my fav. Like seriously, she writes the best MC romance books. I get sad when I read other ones because they just don't compare. So, when I saw that this one was coming out, I was jumping for joy. Then, I realized it was a police/MC romance, and my jumping got a little slower and not as high because I hate this plotline. Like, I can't describe to you how much I hate it. "Oh, look at me. I'm the bada$$ ballsy police woman, and you're the MC guy I don't trust. But you're hot, so let's have sex. Oh, maybe I do like you, but what about my job? Ah, forbidden relationship. Job problems. Who has the bigger balls." Blah, blah, blah. Hate it. This one? Well, it's definitely the best one I've read, I will give Ms. Atlas point on this one. *slow clap*
Jolene Baker spend years of her life as a beauty queen--something she didn't want to do but was forced upon her by her strict Southern family. When she finally has had enough, she becomes a police officer like her brothers as a big F you. Her new gig lands her in small town in Florida which she quickly realizes has a problem with police corruption. But the plus side? She meets this amazing, tattooed hottie who curls her toes. She has a great connection with him, and now everything is going great: new job, new town, new bada$$ boy toy. But this Fin guy isn't what he seems, and when she finds out, it changes everything...
Tracker lives the good life. He's in an awesome MC. He owns a tattoo shop. He gots the womens and the par-tays and all that. When he's tasked with seducing the town lady cop, he jumps on it. She's hot, and he's a charmer. He wiggles his way in, and they're bumping uglies before you know it. The problem is Tracker is really starting to like this woman. She's tough yet vulnerable and soft. They connect on a deeper level. It's too bad that they're relationship started off as a lie, and her department is actively trying to take down his MC. Talk about a Romeo and Juliet deal we have going on.
So, lots of good stuff here. Tracker's a sweetheart, and I love his dog, love his passion in the community, love his passion for tattoo art. I also enjoyed the deception angle, and I will say that Jo is the least annoying woman cop I've seen in a romance. She's very feminine but still is kickass...but still can be dominated in bed. Mwahahaha. I'm messed up. So, yeah. Kudos.
Tracker is a tattoo artist and member of a 1% MC. He agrees to set up the rookie cop to see if he can get some inside intel on his club. It’s not a problem sweet talking the beauty into his bed, but he isn’t prepared for fall out that is to come.
Jolene has always wanted to follow in her four older brothers’ footsteps, her father’s too, but being the only girl in a southern family would hold her back. Her mama wanted a beauty queen, soft, kind, soft spoken and tiara owning beauty that she could brag about. It seems all the men in her life felt the same way. When she finally broke away from that and stood on her own, she had second thoughts about her decision. Perhaps it’s the guy that seduced her in the bar, or maybe the force she is a part of, but something isn’t sitting right with Joleen.
I loved this story. Tracker is a man that will do anything to protect his family by choice. His life hasn’t always been good, but it is now, and he is in a good spot in his life. The beautiful rookie cop is going to turn his world upside down and he has no way of stopping her. Jolene knows that Tracker is not going to be the choice her family wants for her, but her life is her own and she’s a grown woman capable of making her own decisions. When she runs into roadblock after roadblock with her co-workers regarding the drugs and overdoses in their small Florida town, she fights like crazy to keep her morals and justice as they should be, but is it a losing battle? Jolene is a sweet, strong, sassy, sexy woman that can put a man in his place with no problem, after all she grew up with four older brothers. This story is tragic, sexy, steamy, suspenseful, and full of heart. I give it a 4-star review.
I’ve been on a major dark romance kick for a while now, and though I’ve always kind of rolled my eyes at the term “book boyfriend,” I think I get it now, because Tracker is mine! ‘One Percenter with a Heart of Gold’ is definitely my book type, so step on up! And Jo - she is EXACTLY the type of heroine I like in my mc romance. Strong, independent, and willing to love and be loved. I’ve read too many books lately with weak, idiotic female leads, and this is never what Lilly Atlas gives us. Thoughtful, fleshed out characters that aren’t just on the page to bone and do something stupid and need to get rescued. My heart was absolutely in my THROAT for the last several chapters, and while I know I just said I don’t like it when a female character lands in danger from being unnecessarily stubborn, that’s not quite what happened here - no spoilers, but it makes sense why Jo did what she did, and it all led up to a nail biting climax. Damsel in distress just isn’t my vibe, and I think I’ve read too much of it lately that the love and courage of Jo and Tracker really leapt off the page. The Hell’s Handlers of Florida are really finding their groove. There was maybe a little too much going on in Spec, the last entry, but this really focuses on Jo, Tracker, the ongoing thread with HH’s enemies, and more getting to know this local chapter. I do wish Jo’s work and family situation would have felt a little more resolved at the end, but that’s a very minor quibble. It’s nice getting to know the Florida guys that much better. Can only assume Lock is up next, and I’m definitely hoping for more Tracker and Jo in future books!!
Another fantastic instalment in Lilly Atlas MC series.
Tracker would do anything for his MC family even bedding a cop to get information for his club whatever it took to keep his brothers and their old ladies safe he'd do it.
Jo Baker had always wanted to be seen by her family, a family full of cops she wanted to be a cop too however being the only girl and a southerner she bit her tongue and allowed her family to turn her into something she hated a miss teen USA. She hated all of the bells and whistles the hair and makeup the gowns and bicinies and false niceties. She did it for her mother but what she really wanted was to be seen and heard and become a cop just like her father and brothers .
So she did . Much to the horror of her family she joined the police force moved to a new town and so began the start of a new life one on her terms .
Tracker took one look at Jo and was blown away by her beauty then he leaned just how amazing she was and kind and generous and he started to doubt his ability to pull off his plan to bed her for information.
Just when you think you've worked out the plot twist BOOM ! Another plot twist and these to characters are heating up the furniture in more way then one .
Can a hardened tattoo artist who's apart of an MC find love with a Cop ? Can they over come their differences to be able to lead a happy life together ?.
Lilly Atlas brings all those questions and chemistry to this book . I enjoyed this story and look forward to reading the next book in this series.
With the latest addition to her Hell’s Handlers Florida Chapter series, Lilly Atlas continues to be my absolute favorite MC romance author. This book has it all—steam, suspense, humor, and heart.
Tracker and Jo were amazing together and with each new book in this series, I fall more in love with the brothers of this chapter. Don’t get me wrong, I love the brothers of the original chapter, but there is something so special about getting to watch this chapter build from the ground up, and see how close the brothers already are, even though the club is still so new.
One of my favorite things about this book was that there were fun parallels between it and Maverick, a book in the original chapter series—Jo is a cop and in Maverick, Stephanie was an FBI agent; Tracker and Maverick both had rough childhoods and as adults, shun the norms and are unapologetically themselves in all their pierced and tattooed glory—but at the same time, Tracker and Jo were unique individuals with their own personalities and challenges.
If you love sexy and protective bikers, tough and kick-ass heroines, and found family, then this book (and the whole series) is for you! Tracker can be read as a stand alone, but I think you will enjoy it more if you start with Curly, the first book in the series.
Thank you to the author and for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
She was finally doing what she wanted--following after her brothers and her being a cop. She was new but had plenty of experience around the male members of her family when she wasn't fulfilling her mother's dreams. But that was done now. It was her turn to do what she wanted.
Tracker was where he wanted to be. Part of a club that was the family he'd always wanted. A tattoo artist with a great rep. He didn't have a single woman but he has all he wanted. Some of his brothers had found the one to fill their lives but he didn't think that was in his future. Yet, when he volunteered to sacrifice himself to sleep with the new lady cop to get the information the club needed, he was more than willing. When he met her she was not just gorgeous, but feisty, fun, and smart. Not much of a sacrifice.
The club hated cops with reason--Curly had been framed and spent a long time in prison (read Curly book one in the series) When Tracker realized she wasn't like most cops could he get the brothers to give her a chance? Would she even want one when she found out his secrets?
Secrets, loyalty, great characters, enemies, danger, and plenty of steam make for another amazing book in a keeps-you-up-all-night series. Reviewed for Words Turn Me On
What a fantastic read, OMG! Lilly does it again, so many fantastic characters. Jolene, from the moment we meet her we fell in love with her character. We found her to be a sweetheart, just, forgiving, felt the pain of others, smart, sexy and full of sass and a lot of fun. Jolene is a memorable character for sure, she reminds me a lot of Jigsaw's woman.
We saw Tracker as a man who would do anything for his club both in the past and present he will do whatever it takes to get the job done, although this time around he has grown a conscience and fallen for his mark, the problem is he man enough to keep her?
This current story was full of suspense and chemistry and a lot of sexy times as Jolene and Tracker can't keep their hands off one another. The stakes are high for both the club and for Jolene. We loved how easily Jolene fit in with the club and especially with the old ladies and no matter her job title she always kept an open mind.
Loved it from cover to cover, and the story brought more than a few unexpected surprises, so that is always a nice surprise. As always the story made us laugh but, most of all, had us rooting for a relationship that always seemed impossible, knowing if anyone can bring Tracker to heal it's going to be the beauty called Jolene...
This is the 3rd book in this incredible series, and this is Tracker and Jolene’s journey. Jolene is stubborn, kind, and generous, and she comes from a family of police officers, but she allowed her family to turn her into something that she did not want, and tired of the pageant life, she becomes a cop, and much to her family’s dismay she is moved to a new town to begin a new life which will be on her terms. Tracker owns a thriving tattoo business, and he is a bad boy womanizer, who will do anything to keep his MC safe, and he is tasked with seducing and extractive information from the towns new cop. These two are complete opposites, and the chemistry between them is combustible and undeniable, but they complement each other perfectly. This is a well written story which has suspense, intrigue, danger, loyalty, family, humor, witty banter, twists, challenges, and love, which leads to a steamy and entertaining page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
I Freaking loved Tracker and Jo's story. Lilly is the gift that keeps on giving with the Handlers series.
Loved the chemistry between the characters, there were a lot of moments where I found myself shouting at TRacker not to do something. I was 100% in Jo's corner, you can't hate her no matter how much you love the Hells Handlers.
It's not every day you see a biker fall for a cop. Especially one that is hell-bent on proving her worth in a man's world. Brought up in pageants and smothered by her bigger cop brothers Jo wants something for herself, and that something just happens to be a big burly biker with a devilish grin and just so happens to run with the one club her precinct is destined to destroy.
It was for his club that is what Tracker tells himself, seducing a cop that has his gag reflex kicking in. that is until he gets to know this enigma that happens to be the nicest sexiest cop he has ever laid eyes on. It is a dangerous game he is playing but Tracker can't help himself he is all in, that is until cupid changes the game.
cop and a member of the MC what can go wrong…. Having moved to new town to prove to herself and her family she isn’t just pageant material Jo finds that the whole department hates the MC and will do anything to bring them down… Tracker is a tattooist and also a member of the MC who is sent to get close to her to see what she knows…. This doesn’t go to plan… Their chemistry is off the charts and Jo finds the more she is in his company the harder it is to resist him… she finds out he is in the MC when something happens to another member but the way she handles that and her bias partner has the MC looking at her in a different light… She finds that Tracker isn’t just the MC either which has her looking at him in a different light… Things kick off when the weather turns for the worse and everything comes to a head… This is the first book by this author and I really enjoyed it…. I loved Jo and Tracker and loved meeting the rest of the MC family… Their story was everything you would expect from an MC and it kept me reading….
Who says opposites do not attract? Well whoever did was definitely wrong about Jo and Tracker. What happens when these two cross the already blurred lines? We get 1 hell of a story that is what. We see that family isn't always blood, and we find out just because you carry a badge doesn't mean you are doing what is right. There is more to our beauty queen turned cop than meets the eye she is smart, strong, and tenacious. She sees more than most, and is loyal to those that deserve it. When she meets Tracker she finds something she can have for herself. Tracker is a man on a mission. He knows exactly who and what Jo is. He is out to do what he needs to do for his club. What he didn't expect was the spitfire that will own his heart. I enjoyed these two immensely. It is always nice when things are not always black and white, and just because someone looks a certain way doesn't mean they are good or bad. Don't judge a book by its cover kind of comes to my mind.
Outstanding addition to the Hells Handlers. If you have read the first two books of the series you know this MC was formed from a group of guys that were outcasts or just didn’t seem to fit in. Well they sure fit in with the MC they formed. Loyal to each other and want nothing more than to clean up their small town. But the police have it out for the Hells Handlers. So Tracker is sent to get close to the new female cop and find out what they “think” they have on the MC. From here the story takes off and what a ride.
You have a broken female cop who is out to prove to her family she’s not just a pretty face and a sexy outlaw biker who will do anything for his club. These two are opposite sides of the spectrum, but you know what they say about opposites attracting…. Well these two just might electrifie the town.
Action packed, twists, turns, romance and one heck of a storyline. Grab this one up asap - you won’t regret it.
With the latest addition to her Hell’s Handlers Florida Chapter series, Lilly Atlas continues to be my absolute favorite MC romance author. This book has it all—steam, suspense, humor, and heart.
Tracker and Jo were amazing together and with each new book in this series, I fall more in love with the brothers of this chapter. This is a great book with tons of action! jo & Tracker keep the action going. Jo is a strong woman fighting to find herself in all actuality. With brothers & dad as cops, she feels that where she wants to be. But will it get her killed? Seeing how a tatted up biker seems to be hot after her, or so it seems. Finding out he’s using her could get her into trouble. This is an awesome book that will keep you turning the pages
Hot! I've volunteered to review this book for United Indie Book Blog. Tracker is the third book in the Hell's Handlers MC Florida Chapter series. This is Tracker and Jo's story. Jo is in a new town and new job being a rookie cop. And Tracker is assigned to seduce the new cop on the force. With a cop and outlaw that has disaster written all over it. But the pull between them is off of the charts. I love the chemistry between Tracker and Jo. I found myself hooked from beginning to end. Neither one trusts the other each yet. But if they want to stay alive, they have to trust each other. It's a MUST READ!!!!!! Highly recommend reading this one. Can't wait to read more from Lily Atlas. Keep up the good job!
Great book with tons of action! jo & Tracker keep the action going. Jo is a strong woman fighting to find herself in all actuality. With brothers & dad as cops, she feels that where she wants to be. But will it get her killed? Seeing how a tatted up biker seems to be hot after her, or so it seems. Finding out he’s using her could get her into trouble. This is an awesome book that will keep you turning the pages The only part I didn’t like, we never got closure with her brothers & Tracker. We were left hanging, which was a real bummer. Because of that I gave it 4 stars. I feel she got not closure at all with her family.
Tracker is a biker, Jolene is a cop. The two should be like oil and water, but when Tracker tries to use Jo for information the chemistry is explosive. Jo can't deny the attraction. Tracker is trying to keep his feelings in check. Things go from bad to worse for Jo, she learns the cops she works with are so bias against the MC, and Tracker was using her. Still she feels the pull. Jo and Tracker find their way together. Her partner is do against the club he goes off the deep end. I love the family feel with this MC, their old ladies and this cop. Family means everything to them and you feel like you become part of their world. Lilly Atlas is so terrific I love her books.
I’ve been following the Hells Handlers MC series and I’ve again fallen for another book in this series. Jo was a beauty queen turned cop following her dream of following in her brother and father’s footsteps. Tracker would do anything to help his family even if it means getting “close” to a cop to find out information. Once he got to know her and her bad*ss personality he wanted to keep her.
I loved the surprises, twists and turns along with the steam that made this a real page turner for me.
Book three in the Hell’s Handlers MC Florida Ch. Tracker has a mission. Sleep with the enemy and get intel. Officer Jolene Baker is a rookie in the force. Ex teen pageant she’s done acting like a lady. Now his a cop and nobody tells her what to do till she hooks up with tracker after one night. His perfect persona is almost epic. Till she finds it his the enemy. The force wants the Mc gone forever. She she fines out one of her own his not what he claims . She has to decide what side she’s at. Another epic book from Lilly atlas.
