I'll Say Yes

Rate this book
"IT'S NOT OUR ABILITY GOD NEEDS; IT IS OUR AVAILABILITY."

Often people disqualify themselves from doing things for God because they don't think they have what it takes. But Amber Olafsson discovered a secret to the Kingdom: The Lord doesn't need all the accolades, experience, or resources... turns out His request is much more simple.

Throughout the pages of I'll Say Yes, Amber obliterates every excuse that held her back from experiencing ALL God has for her. Some of these excuses may sound familiar. Using her real-life stories she teaches how to conquer doubts and live adventures with God every day. Her part in all this? Giving the Lord her YES. His part? The miraculous.

In I'll Say Yes you will learn how to:

*Step out of your comfort zone
*Walk with the Holy Spirit in the everyday
*Make yourself available when the Lord calls
*Live by the approval of God alone

As you read the stories of how an average person found the tenacity to leave her comfort zone and become bold, you might start believing God could use someone like you, too.

If I could give this book 10 stars I would. It opened my eyes to so many powerful things that God has planned for our lives as Christians.

This book spurred something within me and actually started me on a journey of seeking inner healing. To be honest, I read this book feeling such a strong desire to surrender my every day and moment to be used by God but also felt such an internal wrestle that was very confronting. I could relate to almost every chapter, as each one highlights excuses or reasons that stop us from saying Yes to God but I didn’t know what to do about it so I basically avoided accepting that I struggled with them.
Reading through this book a second time, I could feel God softening my heart and turning the wrestle from avoidance to an opened heart desiring freedom so I could truly surrender my all and say Yes to whatever He has for me. It has been a journey, and still is, but I highly recommend this book! Very easy to read and yet so, so powerful!

This book surprised me. I consider myself a Yes girl, but the last half of the book took this concept of partnership with God to some really deep places. What about when God calls you to hard things? What about saying yes when people think you're crazy? What about saying yes when you would rather say no? Amber shares so many God stories in such a frank and relatable and inspiring way, that it makes you want to say yes to even the hard stuff. When you realize you are partnering with God Himself to bring His kingdom to earth, you realize that nothing but Yes will do. Amber's book will inspire you that saying Yes to God is worth it. Her stories will move you and challenge you to run after Him harder. He will show you the unsearchable things if you let Him. Will you say Yes to His call?
