Now these rare, unpublished pieces, breathtaking in design and rich in detail, are gathered together at last - in this special, high-quality collector's edition.

This book contains pieces not used in the famous Frankenstein edition. There are also sketches and other assorted artwork that is related to the project, and some that are just Frankenstein oriented. Due to its brevity, I give four stars, though there are many brilliant pieces throughout.

so, I'm guessing these were the images that were rejected from the Frankenstein book?
Bernie Wrightson's rejects are most artists struggle to attempt fine illustrations!
Beautiful, beautiful illustrations by the Maestro!
