Reginald: Fated Mates of Thorne Bay

Rate this book
Reginald Droen grew up playing with the rich and famous families like the Du Pont, Rockefeller, Brown, and Vanderbilt families. When his father tried to force him to marry someone who was not his destined mate, he ran away to the rugged land of Thorne Bay, Alaska giving up his family fortune. Everyone here knows him as Reggie Saunders, though.

Melody Fisher is a freelance journalist trying to make a name for herself. The patriarch of the Droen family is searching for his missing son Reginald and has offered a one-million-dollar reward. After spending the last two years searching, Melody thinks that Reggie Saunders is actually Reginald Droen and has gone to Alaska to get proof.

Hi there!

I’m K. R. Hall, a Paranormal Romance author.

My adventure began as a reader, but I soon discovered my passion for every facet of romance. In 2017, I picked up the pen and never looked back. I write open-door romance, mostly PNR, though I also write a few contemporary romances. Every journey promises happiness ever after.

If you are not sure where to start, some of my most popular books include the 'Black Bears of Independence' series and 'Eye of the Buyer,' both enjoyed by my readers for their unforgettable characters and sizzling romance.

My favorite books involve characters that aren’t perfect and have room to grow, or a good mystery you can’t quickly solve. I weave this love into every book, building intricate worlds where my characters shine in the spotlight.

When I’m not dreaming up new worlds for readers, I’m with my husband and our two rescue dogs, Sammie and Jake, enjoying the simple things in life.

Whether you like standalones or diving into a series, there’s something for every romance reader. Grab one of my books and let yourself fall in love today!

I love connecting with readers. Follow me on social media or sign up for my newsletter to get the latest updates, sneak peeks, and exclusive giveaways. I can’t wait to share my stories and hear from you!

I enjoy a good shifter story so seeing this one I wanted to try a new type of shifter. I have only read wolf shifters. I was not disappointed as I read this in one sitting. You have Reggie that leaves behind his entire family and life because his father was trying to push him to do what he did not want to. On the other end you have Melody that wanted to be free, she loves her family but needs job to get out of her families home. She reads a classified ad of a family looking for their "long lost family member."

She hunts for years for a lead and when she finds one it turns out she has found her fated mate Reggie. They have an instant connection and they have to fight to save eachother.

This was a quick but amazing read. I will be going back to read about all the other shifters in series.

The spice was clean and very well written, just enough to make the story.

I have read Jin and Yin in this series and knew I needed this book.
You have Reginald who runs from his family, not wanting anything to do with the business and arranged marriage. Decades later, now living in Alaska as a logger, he is living as Reggie and still searches for his mate.
Melody is your average girl who begins working for the classifieds and finds an ad about a missing person and an award if found. She takes her chances and decides to start the journey. After two years of looking, she almost gives up until she sees him face to face.
This sweet love story had my attention from the beginning. The devotion and vow he makes her as his mate was my undoing. If you love sweet with a little sexy, this is your book.

Reggie wants to wait for his fated mate. His dad wants to force him to marry for money and power for the family. So Reggie walks away. Melody is a reporter but takes a job searching for Reggie. Karen loves plot twists and adds danger, angst, friends and connections.
Stories of shifters have always interested me. And there are so many approaches that can be used. Karen brings us Reggie and Melody and tho they are shifters, she also spends time developing their characters and life story. Thorne Bay is a favorite location and all the authors have provided their takes on it. And all our friends from previous stories find their way back to us in this tale with a HEA.

Bear shifter Reggie grew up wealthy with an autocratic father who demanded Reggie marry to increase the family wealth and power. Reggie refuses as only his fated mate will do. Reggie runs off and becomes a lumberjack. A far cry from what his childhood had prepared him for. Now years later he is happy with his choices but he has yet to find his mate.
This story brings Reggie his mate in a most unexpected way. Now all he has to do is keep her alive to claim her.
This is a sweet and sexy tale of love’s triumph.

This story grabbed me and no matter what I had to do I had to keep reading. It moves along at a pace that is perfect for the story but at the same time making for an easy and enjoyable read. The characters are so real that you feel as though you know them and no matter what happens you cannot help but love them. This is a must read book, there is no doubt about it, it has to be at the top of your TBR list.

Reginald is a bear shifter who comes from a very wealthy family who wants him to marry for power & not love. But he wants to find his fated mate! SO he runs away to Thorne Bay to become a lumberjack.
Melody is an average girl who finds an ad asking for help & offering an award for finding their missing family member. Little does she know this will lead her right to her fated mate!
Very sweet love story with a nice little kick of spice.

Reginald wouldn't be pressed into a forced marriage for financial and political gain for his family, so he left, knowing his fated mate was out there. Over 100 years later he meets Melody, a complete klutz who was sent by his father to bring him home.
A fantastic read, my first Bear shifter story and I couldn't put it down. Reggie and Melody relationship is so sweet! Plus they get a surprise after he claimed her! But you'll have to read to find out!
